The hotel looks new, colourful, very clean and includes all necessary amenities. Rooms were a comfortable size and beds were perfect. It is far from train stations, so I only recommend Chisun for those travelling by car.

Hotel with free parking ”
Most of the hotels in kumamoto do not have free parking. So if you are driving, this hotel is of great choice as it offers free parking. Although its location is slightly far from city center, but having a car will make the distance not a problem. Overall, I had a pleasant two night stays here. Very clean hotel and basics amenities were provided.

Small but compact with everything you need ! Recommended!! ”
Staff are very friendly and attentive.. Even they speak very little English, they try to provide the explanation in booklet or picture. Room is small but compact. We get the room with bunk bed for 4 of us (2A, 2C age 9 & 12), not too bad. Breakfast choice is limited but sufficient, for the money you paid off, I think it is worth for it . Location wise is a bit out of town but we were driving so it isn't an issue for us. Overall it is a very nice budget hotel. Recommended!

A little bit far from central of travel”
Good - - nice room - internet very good - breakfast OK bad - - location need car to go there - i reserve normal room (not showing smoke or non- smoke) which when arrive i got smoking room , so it maybe my mistake or hotel not write correctly

Simple Hotel, Good Breakfast but Foul smell in toilet and from air-con”
We like the ample parking spaces, laundromat services, decent breakfast with good coffee. Breakfast menu changes every alternate days. Staff speaks better english than other hotels we've visited in Kyushu. We like that hot water and chopsticks were accessible to guests in the evening, that we could use to make instant noodles at night. This service is popular as water from flask runs out pretty fast. Room space was tight, with only space for one person to walk through from bed to wall. Not much space for luggage but we managed. We booked 2 rooms and one of the rooms had a foul smell from the toilet. foul smell seems from stagnant water though we could see nothing amiss. We did not ask to change room as it was only the toilet . however, the 2nd night, when we turn on the air-conditioner, there was a foul smell that could be due to lack of use? Hopefully, chisun Inn could improve in checking these areas to improve pleasant stay for guests.

Friendly Staff”
The hotel staff was friendly. The lobby hv few toy which can let my kid play when we chk in . The hotel location a bit far from town. Room overall is good condition and hv a simple nice breakfast and hv a coffee dispenser for 24hr usage.

Basic Room, Good breakfast but foul smell in toilet and from air-conditioner. ”
Staff speaks good english. Rooms were furnished with basic amenities, suitable for business travel. Room space was tight where only one person walk-through space from bed to wall. Good and simple breakfast spread that changes their breakfast menu on alternate days. We booked two rooms and my room's toilet has a foul water smell when i opened the toilet door. I did not change room as I felt it is only the toilet and my room was next to my children's. However, the 2nd day, when I turned on the air-conditioner, there's a foul smell from the air-conditioner . As it was already late, we endured with the smell for the night.

Room is clean & free parking is provided. This hotel is located next to the main road but is around 20 minutes to center of Kumamoto. Only suggest to people with car as no restaurant/ convenient store within walking distance. Overall the hotel is good for it's value.

Room is in reasonable size which allow me to open my big lugguages.room is quite newly decorated .generally is good though found hairs in bathroom which is not ideal. Bad side is no convenience shop nearby. The closest one is a couple of hundreds meter away.
