Great hotel in a central location”

ChomTrang is a nice small hotel close to the train station and on the main street of Trang. It is near many shops, restaurants, cafes, banks and travel agents. The staff are really friendly, picked us up at the airport and helped us with onward travel. The room is a decent size with a balcony offering an excellent view of the town. The bedroom and bathroom offer more amenities than expected for a room of this price. The complimentary breakfast is also decent with a cooked breakfast, toast, tea/coffee, orange juice, cake, pies and fruit offered.

A great new option in Trang ”

Love this place. Conveniently located right across from the train station and travel agencies. An older building that’s been renovated nicely. Simple, yet stylish without crossing over into the realm of overwrought hipster boutique that so many places in Thailand have become. The stained wood doors and thunderstorm-blue wall paint complement each other really well. The bathroom is all lacquered concrete with new equipment and is very clean. Staff is great, accommodating and friendly, but I took one star off because they’re still working on their English (and haven’t really figured out how to fry an egg). Likewise the facilities - very good internet, and a convenient little fridge in the room, but my air conditioner is a little overwhelmed by this tropical Trang heat, and the bed, while otherwise very comfortable, features the Southeast Asia-standard near-rock-hard mattress. These are very minor complaints, though. Overall, ChomTrang is an excellent place to stay.

Great little hotel right in the middle of everything”

Glad we chose this hotel in that location, rented scooters and roda away to the secret beaches nearby where there are no foreigners. The staff were lovely, breakfast was ok, but there is so much delicious food in Trang that you should try! The room we had was spotless, had a balcony with a view and a good working shower, at this price i think it's one of the best centrally located hotel. recommended.

Super excellent hotel”

This hotel located in Trang City. Very convenient and comfortable. Staffs are nice, Friendly and professional. Near Railway station. Breakfast for set menu but enough for morning. I do recommended you to stay here during your holiday here.

Location just in front of Trang railway station. In front of hotel, can find Tuk tuk to travel around city with afordable price. City area is also within walking distance

superb location”

The hotel is located extremely near for Trang train station(only 1 mins on foot), famous restaurant, street art, walking street market and 7/11. Housekeepers are so kind: they cleaned up my room and changed towel for us everyday. The only problem I have found the is toilet smell on 2nd is so terrible(my room is on 3rd floor and I had to walk pass).

stay trang for a day as I am riding around that area. I chose this as it's the newest hotel in the train station area . will stay again for sure if I am in trang .

Next to train station and in city center. Scooter rental just opposite the hotel, nearby 7Eleven, Carpark is just beside the hotel too.

Excellent”

Door lock was annoying and there weren't enough hooks in the room / bathroom to hang clothes, towels, etc. But overall this is a great option for one night, as it combines a clean, relatively comfortable room with a very friendly price, and location is right in the center of town.

Good location and nicely decorated rooms”

We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Trang. The hotel is located really near the train station which is handy, as well as being on the local bus route for the connection if you are arriving at the bus terminal. The rooms are nicely decorated, though our view was of a construction site next door. Breakfast is included but we chose to eat breakfast locally as the breakfast isn't huge. The staff are nice though not around much. There is no elevator and we were on the third floor so be prepared to lug your bags up. We got a good deal as we booked the day before we arrived so for us it was good value for money.

Brilliant value quality budget hotel”

Well located in the centre of town, well-fitted out rooms with great bathrooms, efficient air-con, good WiFi and a simple free breakfast thrown in - all a budget prices. It’s a stone’s throw from the station, buses stop outside and you can watch the second night market from your balcony after you’ve eaten at the brilliant Kim Restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Very highly recommended.

Near to railway station & night market”

pros: - cheap & good location - cafe all around - near to railway station - still new hotel cons: - room got smelly smoke - no passenger lift which not convenience for old people if stay high floor - water heater not function - receptionist not good in English, luckily our driver can help to translate - no double bed, only twin bed conclusion: the money you pay is worth, we just stay a night for the next day island tour. walking distance to night market but i didn't saw convenience shop.

Clean room with nice staffs”

Reasonable price for town hotel that provide Airport transfer free of charge. Staffs are complimentary, all support well during the stay. I would love to be back next time.

Ideal accommodation if you are travelling by train”

As a bicycle traveller who needed onward transportation by train I was delighted with my room, facing the station/street. Great balcony, fully eqipped. I wouldn´t be keen staying on the rear of the hotel as you will be looking at huge building site for a while. So go for rooms 1,2,5,6,9 and 10.

Everything was good, it's a new well appointed hotel in the centre of the town. The first room allocated was in a really bad location with no view, and after I reminded them I had made the booking 3 months earlier they then shifted me to the best room

It is at the city. You can walk though fresh market and garden. There is a walking street in the evening. Clean food and good teste. Staff all good and good take care with guess. I recommend for you all.
