Could not have been happier with all aspects of our stay. The hotel provided exactly the type of room we asked for - high up and central to maximise the superb view. The apartment itself was superb - large area, king size bed, large living area, balcony with table, chairs and loungers. Well equipped kitchenette. Absolutely stunning views over the pool, the beach and then the bay. Watching the sun set from the balcony was a particular pleasure. The Mantra also provided a great base for exploring the central coast. Overall - just brilliant!

We used to live on the Central Coast and stay at the Crowne Plaza for special weekends away. Now when we visit we still stay at the Crowne Plaza as it remains one of our absolute favourite hotels anywhere. Crackling log fires in the Lord Ashleigh Lounge in winter, fabulous spa and pool, wonderful food, 5 star service, and the most awesome views of Terrigal Beach and The Haven. There is nothing this hotel lacks. We will return again and again.

We arrived at midday and were given our room, checkin took no longer than a few minutes and the staff were wonderful & smiling. Room on the 4th floor had an amazing view of the ocean & river across the road. The room was quite large with a larger fridge, microwave, hotplates and kitchen area. Good size lounge area with a sofa bed, large flat screen tv and a nice dinning table and chairs for 4 people. The balcony was lovely in the morning in the sun to watch the ocean and have breakfast. I would recommend The Oaks Resort to anyone staying on the entral coast. I'll be back!

The rooms have been tastefully refurbished, and the big doors opening onto the balcony will be fantastic during summer. Beds were comfy, and sofa bed made up ready for my son. Kitchen facilities were good. Bathroom ok, could benefit from update. Best part, was the heated swimming pool. We went for a swim at 7pm (June) and it was like getting into a big warm bath, could have stayed in a lot longer. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to address us by our names, a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again when we are next in Terrigal.

Great place to stay with my huge greyhound cross. The lake is just a two minute walk away, or you can head to the nearby dog-friendly off-leash Shelly Beach. It's also a 15 minute drive to Tuggerah Off Leash Dog Park - the biggest one I've ever seen. Grab complimentary breakfast in the kitchen, then get a great coffee at Common Ground Kitchen up the road. A great place for those travelling up or down the coast.

Location, location for the Highland Dancing at Niagara Park. We did find the kitchen area a tad difficult.....not alot of room to do things with all of us...I think the rooms need a make over...maybe they are a tad tired but we were reasonably happy with the room, service and location. Would like to stay there again next year - this will be our 4th year - but a coat of paint and modern changes would certainly improve the look of the place. We realise the cost may go up - and are prepared for that....its either that or the Galaxy. Thanks

Firstly the office manager was lovely and kind, the Motel was quiet, the AC quite noisy unadjustable fan stayed on high. The King room is a standard motel room with some unnecessary furniture making it cramped. The door does not fit and light shows through all around, needs painting, the lock barely reaches into the frame, the chain lock is missing its latch, door replacement required really. Never the less there own website offers cheaper deals to pensioners including hot breakfast, we would stay again then.

Cons:/ i sent an email to contact them about changing dates., I had booked it for Daturday and I emailed them Wednesday afternoon. They claimed they emailed me that they did change it. 1:/ i did not receive an email. 2:/ they emailed the morning I arrived there, so they apparently emailed Saturday morning that they had changed the dates but I was already up there by Saturday due to not having heard back from them. It was a 2 hour drive. 3:/Poor response time to customer enquiries. Pro:/ 1:/ they did quickly sort out a room for us close to what we had booked. 2:/Drive way needs a bit of improvement, clearly marked carpark, more carpark space, an open garden area to sit in the sun, or a kids playground, concrete driveway instead of rumbles and little stones. other than that, it was a nice little hideaway. A little getaway for hubby n i so yeah we did enjoy the privacy. Bed is comforatble, hot shower.

Nice place, very outdated style wise. Does require a makeover, even more so at the price you pay to stay there. Possibly look at other cities and what they charge for what they offer. I stayed in a hotel in Perth with more updated facilities for half the price of here. The staff were truly wonderful though and extremely friendly. Just the heater hardly worked in our room, it felt as if we were back in the 70's with the style of room. While tiles all throughout are easy to keep clean they are extremely cold when your geater isn't fully working and both you and your toddler didn't pack slippers. It was actually the same price for us to stay in a 4star hotel in Sydney with perfect location as it was here. The town hasn't got much to offer in tge likes of tourism so possibly take that into consideration when setting prices. For me though who had to attend a wedding near by location was good. Just after the wedding there was nothing to do. I would give it 3/5 stars. It was very clean, staff were friendly, it had a useful kitchen and microwave. Just couldn't keep the heat and style of the room was old school.

This is a lovely spot if you plan on getting out and about on the Central Coast without spending a fortune. The location is tucked away nicely from the busy main streets however it is a short walk to Terrigal beach. The staff are friendly and easy access to our room. They were very thorough with checking what time I planned to arrive and that they would have everything ready for us. We plan on coming back again for sure!

We arrived Saturday afternoon and was welcome by the friendly staff room was basic but had everything you needed to make you night stay comfortable very clean with a little balcony to sit out and grab some fresh air we were all impressed with the location as we parked the car outside our room and walk straight through to the hotel next door were we had a lovely meal and a few drinks to unwind will be back five stars for value for money......

this is advertised as a cabana with its own private infinity pool(and charged accordingly). this is not the case, as in the morning of our stay, the pool was being occupied by friends of the owners of the property. the owners response was to put them down the other end of the pool. she only removed them when reminded it is advertised as a private getaway. this ruined the whole illusion of the private getaway. very disappointed.

What a lovely, family friendly, inexpensive place to stay. We were here to catch up with family who live on the coast. The owner was very accommodating allowing our daughters to park in the driveway on busy NYE, as there was no street parking. The room was great, spacious and clean. 5 adults and 2 kids enjoyed a Chinese delivery meal in the room. The bed was comfy too and we all loved the pool. We even got to see the fireworks from the balcony. We will definitely stay again when we come to visit the grandkiddies. Thanks.

I was very much surprised about the positive experience at The Clan Terrigal and will recommend it to anyone without reservation. 1. The location is perfect. There is no need to cross a busy road to reach the beach. I had a beautiful morning walk from my room to the beach, walked barefoot on winter and it was worth the cold sand for 2 minutes while the sun rose. The view is amazing. 2. The room was big and clean. But the bed, whew, it's the right level of hardness that I had hoped for to give me uninterrupted 8 hour sleep. It's rare that I sleep so well in any hotel room. Sleep was so important to me at the time I traveled because I came from Asia (long tiring flight) and had a stressful flight to Sydney. 3. The restaurant (Maccoa) is within the premises. So we had a beautiful and hearty breakfast, generous servings. My partner's comment whilst eating was "this is literally the best breakfast I've had in a while". 4. The people. They were so warm, helpful and accommodating.

Better than We expected. We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Being on the weekend before Xmas we thought the room would be booming! We read a few reviews about the noise but due to every other place being booked out we stayed there. We had some noise but after midnight its dead quiet. They gave us a hour and a half early check in for free. The Queen room we stayed in was way bigger than i expected. Shower in room with sink. Only disadvantge for us having kids was that there wasn't a toilet in the room. Staff were friendly. Price was awesome $200 for 2 nights a week out from Xmas! We couldn't even get that price at the Caravan park! Will definately be staying here again.

I stayed here for 5 nights and was positively surprised by the size and the comfort of the appartement. It contains a small kitchen with toaster, cooking plate, fridge and dishes. The bathroom is bigger than in most 5 star hotels and free breakfast cereal is provided every day. It takes a short walk to get to the beach but you trade in the silence in the night for that (no traffic or other noise). Free wifi is provided as well as free parking.
