Modern, value for money, excellent location, friendly staff & incredible facilities. Check in was a breeze & parking lots were plentiful & spacious. Public bath at top floor is a mega plus. Locality was great and close to expressway. Close to yoshinoya for supper. 11/10 rating They say that people head over to japan to experience the nature & culture of the land. For me, I will visit japan just for this hotel.

A beautiful hotel with a great lobby and location. You can spend hours in the lounge with the books, especially if you read Japanese. The room was simple and lovely too. We were prepared to fall in love with the hotel but a couple of points disappointed us. The food is beautifully presented in a private room but that only set you up to be let down by the taste. It was NOT awful or anything but simply did not match up to the expectation set by the price and the visuals. Perhaps simpler dishes done well would be better than a creative menu that left you going hmm. The hotel was set beside a beautiful stream but neither the room (mine at least) or the lounge makes use of this. Also the amenities in the room was poor considering the price.

My friend and I recently stayed here only for 1 night. We arrived rather late the owners Taiki and his wife stayed up and waited for us. They were both very easygoing and relaxed, the service wasn't super professional it was much more personal and low key( which I loved). Taiki has backpacked around many countries so he has great knowledge of the backpacking world! He was vey keen to give us recommendations and helpful! There is a road nearby called Venus line, we drove up in the morning to see the sunrise which was incredible! The food was good, bacon and eggs and also unlimited condiments coffee and tea. Overall a great experience and nice out of the way place to get away from the real world in a relaxing warm environment.

I arrived at NOMANOMORI without the slightest clue that this would be one of my best travel memories. My room was larger than I had expected, with a double bed, a bathroom, simple amenities and the like, and a view that one cannot find elsewhere – full of lush green and the smell of woods. After a good night’s sleep (there is no air conditioner nor electric fan but it is quite cool after dusk), the birds’ singing would wake you up in the morning, when you will be served with a beautiful plate of breakfast, heartily prepared by the owner couple using local ingredients (the homemade bread is particular good). There is a study room where you find books and postcards and an electric massage chair. You may also enjoy a hot bath on the first floor. Overall, a lovely stay in a lovely place. Great stop-by for my exploration in the highlands area of Chino.
