Best hotels & accommodations in Dallas (TX)

The hotel is in a great location for an early flight out or late flight in. Shuttle was timely in coming to pick me up from the airport & get me to the hotel. My room was freezing during the night and when I tried resetting the control it only held for a short time. Another guest that I spoke to on my way out said that they had the same problem except their room was to...

My husband and I were extremely satisfied and impressed with our stay! The hotel was beautiful and our room had an awesome view. They made it all the more special with complimentary wine, strawberries and rose petals for our 24th Wedding anniversary!! Would definitely recommend this hotel!! Can't wait to go back!!

Magnolia itself was an outstanding facility, Serving staff in restaurant were kind and gracious. Hotel is surrounded by high rise buildings, so views of Dallas environs are impossible from room windows. The overnight rate for parking vehicle was excessive (over 32.00 per night).

I loved staying everything was on point... How ever on person on your mgnt is a very disrespectful persion.. I personaly think if u work in any kind of custome srvice agencies u should conduct you self in a higher standerd then the way i was just spoke to on the phone by this person ..

I recently stayed at the Magnolia Dallas Park Cities with teenager daughters. The hotel is older & our bathtub had been recoated with the coating flaking off,, but it was nice overall. If you are looking for ultimate luxury, this is not the place for you. However, this does not mean it is not a good place to stay. They have a $5 happy hour, free cookies & milk 8-10pm,...

Great facility! Clean, modern, well kept... especially for the price. Also, the hot breakfast was a definite plus. Please be aware that the hotel is not in the best neighborhood. There are quite a few adult establishments in the area. I did not have any problems but I would recommend exercising caution traveling in the vicinity of the hotel at night.

First of all I am blessed because the room we got was fortunately the best room in the hotel probably . The major issue was we did not have hot water for two days no one ever answered the front desk ever we continuously had to go down if we had problems speaking of that the elevator was broken most of the time small children got stuck in the elevator on two different...

this is the second time i stayed at ths hotel. i like the location and hotel charge are fairly reasonable for the room size. easy access to wi-fi. but, most important this hotel offer smoking room, so i can smoke in the room without going out of my room. breakfast are so so at this hotel as little choice o foods.

I liked the fact the hotel was walking distance literally across the street. The people at the front desk were very nice and apologized for other employees in the top bar that weren’t so nice. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. If I was to go to another concert in dallas I will probably stay there again.

We were given a room that was not thoroughly cleaned. There was hair in the shower. Ther was visible blood on the comforter. The AC unit leaked on your back in the bathroom. The AC unit ladled through the walls and the carpet near the restroom stayed wet. This caused the room to have a musty mildew smell.

Pros: Friendly staff; very helpful. Doesn't nickle and dime for toiletries and coffee. Breakfast was actually decent. Plenty of space in room. Location is prime. Cons: It is a bit dated and tired. I wouldn't say run down, but not "fresh". Our room smelled like a salon for some reason. That could have just been from the previous guest, but the smell was strong and laste...

This hotel is great value for money right in the middle of downtown. Staff were great and gave us a late check out. Pool is on fifth floor with a view. No poolside service. Rooms very very spacious. I would definatley recommend this hotel if staying in Dallas. Walking distance to restaurants, 6th floor museum and bronze bulls.

I have zero complaints on the room, simply due to the great rate I was able to get it for last minute, compared to everywhere else. Do not expect or demand a 5 star hotel a budget. A few notes: I traveled alone, without a vehicle. The employee checking me in was very pleasant and informative, it was clear he knew what he was doing and enjoyed doing it. The bathroom l...

Hotel provides free transfer to/from DFW Airport; however it is difficult to contact them from the Terminal building (for international tourists). Shuttle bus serves several hotels and all DFW Airport Terminals; however it has limited capacity, so I would advise to reserve a place for a Hotel to Airport ride . The recption staff is friendly and helpfull. The room is c...

Older hotel but stay was great we will stay here again in future definitely. Hotel room was clean and well cared for. Staff was A+ some of the best have delt with in long time approximately 10 minutes after we got in room staff called to check if everything was satisfactory and thanked again for staying with them. Also wanted to comment on hot Breakfast was great not j...

Room was unexpectedly nice. I figured getting a room for so cheap I was going to be staying in a roach motel. Not the case!! Room was clean. Obviously for the price, it will attract your overnighters(methheads) that wonder around all night. Front desk even asked if I would like to view the room before I got it.

Only 2 issues that I had is the dryer in the facility didn’t dry my clothes even after two hours. Also the A/C in my room sounded like a dying giraffe and didn’t keep the room as cold as I would’ve preferred. With saying that everything else was great.

It was cheap considering it was a last minute booking. I arrived almost 1 am and the staff at the front desk made me feel safe. One bad thing about my stay is I wasn't sure if the room got cleaned because there was a used bar of soap in the bathroom and a half roll of tissue paper when I came in.

I typically spend a few nights a month in Houston or Dallas driving for Uber. I needed to find a reasonably priced motel just to sleep for 6 hours and take a shower so I started staying in various Motel 6’s. Like all chains the quality varies greatly, from poor to this Motel 6 (high quality). This is the nicest Motel 6 I have stayed in and it’s a dynamite value. ...

They began breaking down the breakfast nearly half an hour early, so if you enjoy your sleep and want to wake up to catch anything of a breakfast before the actual closing time, good luck. There was also cigarette holes all throughout the comfoter, hairs all throughout the bed, the place hasn’t had any updating in a minimum of 30 years, the smell in the hotel was just ...

The rooms them selfs have a decent design. Simple yet modern. However there are issues that made me feel uncomfortable. To start the mattress has very little padding i could feel the springs. I know this could be a corp problem so i dont want to hold it against this site. Zenis beds are cheap but comfortable i recommend them. Next the door has to be slamed to close and...

4-star hotels in Dallas (TX)

I've stayed here several times and don't remember the rooms being in such bad condition--walls are scuffed and need paint, furniture beat up. Looking very tired. The saving grace for this hotel is that it's on-property at DFW. If you can afford it, stay at the the Grand Hyatt instead

Magnolia itself was an outstanding facility, Serving staff in restaurant were kind and gracious. Hotel is surrounded by high rise buildings, so views of Dallas environs are impossible from room windows. The overnight rate for parking vehicle was excessive (over 32.00 per night).

Sheraton Dallas is located in downtown Dallas. From this hotel one has easy access to free trolleys, buses and trains to all parts of the city. I like to ride on the M-trolley to get to the restaurant/pub area nearby and enjoy a good dinner. Hotel room is clean and staff are very friendly. I will certainly return to this hotel.

Good - I have stayed many many times as the Palomar, this was my first as Highland. $25 for valet parking in Dallas is ridiculous and the self parking options are very limiting. The room service menu could use some healthier options. The beds were amazing and the staff was fantastic.

After 24 hours of long flight, was really a very good experience that I have stayed in this hotel. The staff was always very kind and focused on the customer. John was very interactive. Everything clear, room with good space, mattress very soft, good location , very good and variety of western food. I recommend this hotel for those want to stay in Dallas downtown.
Traveler impressions of Dallas (TX)
Dallas is great place to visit, probably to make money and have your business there. It is a typical big texas city, big malls, massive highway but nothing like houston, its crazy there.
Since this is my short business travel, I only visited the musuem of Kennedy although I know there is a lot to be explored.

Accommodations in Dallas are spread across several downtown neighborhoods, and visitors are wise to consider where they'll be spending most of their time before committing to a particular hotel. This is a city that has staked its reputation on a 'bigger is better' approach to life, and hotels tend toward the large and luxurious.
Dallas may not be world-famous for its sightseeing, but it still has a variety of worthwhile sites. Among these is the Sixth Floor Museum, a particularly compelling museum that explores the facts and theories surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which took place in Dallas in 1963.
Uptown Dallas is where the city’s fashionable people go to have fun. The area is full of modern city high rises and chic dining places, as well as the majority of the trendy nightlife that isn’t found in Downtown Dallas.
