near center, everything what you need is in walking distance. breakfast good, staff helpfull (speak german and some english). the hotel was nearly empty, because the economy in hungary is very bad at the moment.

Very enjoyable stay, room was a bit small and warm but location was excellent, very easy to reach from town and to continue our trip the day after and over all breakfast was superb, lots of choices, homemade bread, super choice!

former communist hotels are usually situated well.this place is no exception.its grand exterior suggests a grand past,today the rooms are no more than adequate,functional rather than classy.this suited my purposes as i only want to sleep and wash there.the breakfastwas poor by western standards,which is to be expected.the restaurant was adequate but no more.more glamor...

The place and facilities grow on you. The baths are great. But later you get to try some of the other restaurants that offer a great food and drink selection. The hotel's location works well in the large parkland about 3k from the centre..

I stayed only for a night, got a decent big room with big windows, Ask for the top floor with the slant roof for a different feel.Hotels looks big and magnificient in the pictures, but looks like a miniature model when you actually stay in. But that is not an issue. Overall , one of the best hotels in debrecen for the rate I guess.

Nice staff, but not anti-proofing

When I visited, while listed on AGODA as "recently renovated", it was still under renovation and things were not working, tools and construction materials were out in open, it was dirty and smelling of paints, thinners, etc. No Kitchen onsite, no dining or sitting room, minimum English spoken.
