"This was our first time to vacation in Destin, Fl & couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our room was ready when we arrived, the beach was beautiful, & everything we needed could be found at the resort. We didn’t have to leave for anything. The people were so friendly at the resort and those we met at the beach. The best thing is our kids had so much fun and can’t wait to get back to Sandestin next summer!"

"My wife, dog, and I enjoyed the stay. Check in / check out went smoothly and the hotel is clean and in a great location. There is a boardwalk next to it that takes you to the beach. Highly recommend for a family that wants to go to Miramar Beach at a reasonable price. "

"I was blown away at how nice the "2 star" was. It had a bigger flat screen then I own, comfy beds and pillows a microwave and fridge. It was perfect and I loved the bang for my buck. I liked the location it was walking distance to plenty within 30 mins. I will stay here again next year "

"The staff in the registration office were kind and gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. The security guard was kind and spoke every time we saw him. The grounds were clean and beach access was easy to get to. Our place was beautiful and clean. We had one minor issue with the garden tub jets and it was fixed in the blink of an eye! We cannot wait to return!"

"Clean nice hotel on a budget this would be a good one for you or you and your family ..the room when I checked in was prepared and clean ..the Furnishings were appropriate ...the staff was friendly and helpful...I noticed a small pool and appeared to be very clean and well-kept.. the parking lot was large enough to accommodate all guests and within reasonable walking to the rooms ..with no shady characters noted and the parking lot was being observed by hotel staff/watchers......Cons-breakfast is very limited....(buy breakfast at the grocery...cook in room...bring skillet/pots/kitchen tools...or go out for breakfast.. I would stay again and I would recommend it to my family members and Friends for a nice economical Hotel in Destin Florida......stayed May2019 x3days......Keith/Ky"

"The Best Western Sugar Sands was a good option for our stay in Destin. The location is very convenient and close to the beach and shopping. We booked two rooms for three nights. The hotel is acceptable but not perfect. It has been updated in some areas. The Bedding and bathroom fixtures seem fairly new. The rooms could use new carpeting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a typical complimentary breakfast. "

"We found the hotel on internet and $54.00 plus tax was a good rate. Rooms clean, furniture, Interior nice, no odors, and staff was great. Beds were very comfortable even though I have back issues I slept great. Very family oriented of location walking to race cars, putt putt, lazy river, water slides, and arcades. Lots of shopping beach wear and etc. Lots of restaurants. Breakfast was provided and with the room rate we had that was included so it was a plus. We will definitely go back and we count on reviews to book hotels we stay in."
