It is a very isolated island and there is NOTHING to do. I would only recommend this island to people looking for extremely relaxed holidays.
Koh Ngai has beaches, no roads, no inhabitants and no independent shops and minimarts. Is's quiet, ideal for relaxation, and I recommend a trip to Koh Mook Emerald Cave and some snorkelling.
Go by longtailboat, not speedboat! If you want nightlife or hiking, you are on the wrong island. It's fairly expensive on the island, but the camping bar and restaurant is not to bad. It's also more relaxed and the only beach bar on the island.
only have a small mini mart in the island, need to prepare all the things before when to the island..
The island itself is very small so you only have 7resorts on but when I say resorts I don't mean massive brick buildings far from it, there are lots of wooden huts along the beach, it is just a little island with paradise in it.
ca 2 km lång strand med ett flertal hotell, resorter på så det gick bra att välja olika restauranger kan varmt rekomendera restaurangen vid campingen mitt på stranden!
Try the famous cake. And roast pork. Good halal food too. Market downtown is good. Close to bus van and railway.
Airport close to downtown too. Good attentive people. . Small but good market one block from airport.
relaxing, good snorkel though water is not very clear there are plenty of fish and coral, the camping restaurant is excelent and the staff is really nice
There is very little to do here. We stayed six nights but that was absolutely maximum. Here is only the beach.
We chartered a longtailboat and took a trip to Koh Kradan and the emerald cave. Can recomend that.
Its a small, quiet island to enjoy the white beach and the sun! If you like snorkeling or diving this is the right place for you.
No parties, only few Beachbars, good fresh Seafood, nice Spas around... All you need to have relaxing your holidays!
beautiful island relaxing plenty of snorkelling with many other islands to visit very safe for children and great fun on the beach
Great place for honeymoon, peaceful, private. Nothing much to do, just enjoy the sun bathing, walking, relaxing.
Snorkeling and Kayaking is great Best time to hideaway from the city. Can take the boat to Ko Mook cave
Access to Koh Ngai is by ferry and transfer by longboat or by speedboat. You can get there from Koh Lanta or the port near Trang.
The company we used was Tigerline.com and Lanta Garden Hill which is a good tour company(not a resort)
There are no indigenous inhabitants on this island, it's just resorts and some camp sites. But it has beautiful beaches and is quiet and remote.
