I came here for business meeting thus do not have much time for sightseeing and shopping , all I can say that KL is a great city
KL is a great city, but the inhabitants not so friendly. I can tell you, I was crossing the street and a local stepped on my foot with his motorcycle historical to keep driving, so.
..it leaves a not so good impression. I've been living in Asia for a long time already, and no one has ever rolled over my foot, not even in the most crowded city. But the petronas are worthwhile visiting. 1 day is more than enough for KL
It's not my type of holiday. I only had time to spend in bukit Bintan for a few days. It's quite far to amusement park I'm planning for.
Shopping here is not cheap as I expected even in sale promotion. Singapore seems better for shopping in term of price attractive. Local food mostly same with Singapore. No outstanding I must have it. But food cost here is quite reasonable even at airport.
Taxi is abundant, some are nice. Office area lunch food courts do not have much delicious selection, and may be somewhat overpriced for the taste.
But since it is the capital city, business travelers should not expect much beyond work.
In my list of far-eastern great cities, for the moment at a far place, after Bangkok, Hong-Kong, Singapore, but before Jakarta.
Shopping is very big in KL. Local people obviously have a lot of pride in their city and homeland because I witnessed continued cleaning up and refurbishing activities.
The way the cities are designed and built to provide all amenities to locals and tourists within close proximity to the desired choice of accommodation. The biggest one item that I observed is the availability of huge multiple choices in almost every aspect of life within a major city. Enjoyed the stay in KL and would recommend this trip to my friends.
Kuala Lumpur have lots of tourist attractions. It has many museums t, birds sanctuary/park, istana (King's Palace) that have been turned as a tourist attraction, The Kuala Lumpur Twin Towers, religious places, shopping complexes.
It have so many places to offer to tourist
Matured city with friendly neighborhood. Need to take care of safety along the place. But anywhere is dangerous if we don't practise careful and safety measures!
The furama hotel is close to berjaya times square mall, around there easy to get kuliner, example at night they have lok lok in front of this hotel.
but not close the pavilion mal.every time i stay at this hotel.
Lots of foreign worker like Bangladesh walking around Bukit Bintang area especially on weekend, beware of motorbike snatch thief surrounding in tourist area.
For Malaysian feel unsecure when visit this specific area.
friendly people, lots of places to visits and shopping. whenever you ask for the taxi, always ask for a receipt.
State full of foreign worker. If you walk along anywhere in KL area, beware of belonging and snatch thief.
Tourism awareness not performing compare nearest country like S'pore or Bangkok.
This city has changed a lot over the past 5 years. The inhabitants are mostly foreigners. Not as truly Malaysia where we get to see locals doing business on the streets.
Kuala Lumpur is full of cars and every evening sure jam so if possible do not drive during evening . The food is nice if you dont mind it is oily .
It is a vibrant city with old and new, different cultures that mixed together. The transportation network is good and the taxi driver are reliable.
Well connected via public transport that is clean and safe. A very affordable city to stay in with limitless options to fun, dining, shopping, etc.
People are very friendly. However, most "local" workers in most establishments are very inexperienced, laid back, lazy and inefficient. A big contrast when you meet "foreign workers", they are more professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Compare that with Singapore, it is a less sterile city that offers more edge, value and fun for visitors. People are more hospitable and personable in KL.
Busy area but try to Find like This area around Seri Pacific Hotel for relax. If you need shopping hotel will advise you.
Kuala Lumpur have a lot to offer - shopping places, tourist attractions such as museum - we been to countless museum so far - National Museum, Police Museum, Islamic Museum, Textile Museum.
There are national monument, botanical gardens - Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Taman Tasik Keramat, Taman Tasik Perdana all are nice place to kill your time.
KL is a good city. Petronas Towers, KL Tower, National Mosque is the places of interest. 120 KM from KL you can travel to fireflys, which is touted to be a good attraction.
I feel it is overrated. 200 KM from KL you can travel to Malacca (A'Famosa) this has many attractions to offer from Carnival, Water theme sports, Zoo, Sports, etc., Good for family with children. For foreigners (Excluding Singaporean, PR, Malaysian) they charge twice the amount
KL is a capital city. If you were looking for a relaxing place it is not, but it may be your shopping paradise.
Kuala Lumpur is one of the greatest city for shopping, dining, entertainment in the world. However, there is one thing very worst- TAXI service.
To avoid unhappiness travel in Kuala Lumpur, make sure you download your Uber or GrabCar apps in your mobile phone.
The largest city among Malaysia and it has the most popular shopping malls, restaurant, greatest family theme-park and a hub to suit all kind travelers.
Except entertainment, it does label as the largest business hub in Malaysia which surrounded by international organization and populations.
many amazing place can visit such as klcc, bangunan sultan abdul samad at dataran merdeka, kl tower & dont forget to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant kl tower.
very nice & amazing restaurant
Mostly like other big cities around the world, it a city with busy hours, nightlife and entertainment centre
A great place to visit. Very vibrant, diverse, open and inviting. Impressive to see that such a diverse community of different ethnic groups and different religions lived together peacefully and in harmony.
From KL to melacca, penang or genting highland very convenience with bus. It takes 2~3 hours by bus. Just spend 10 days to visit 3~4 places with value money and time.
I just stay at one world hotel and I feel there is a good place for me to stay, friendly and easy to get all the best food restaurant.
It's a city in south east Asia with the flair of Asia. The city becomes a challenge by rain, as there moves nothing.
So plan enough time to get from one place to another. There is something, to deal with the Taxi driver is "a" experience.
