Find Hotels in Miyazu, Japan

Easy to find from Miyazu train station - everyone knows where it is. Easy bike to start the sandbar crossing to Amanohashidate. Owner speaks good english and will give you a personal tour of the house/museum - he is the 13th generation and went out of his way to take us to the train station and give us a drive around the town. The Ryokan is right next to main centre of Miyazu (3min walk) and is a 2 min walk from supermarket. Bicycles can be rented for \1000 a day, which is a great way to pop over to Amanohashidate (make sure you take the single-seat gondola up to the viewpoint, it is really fun!). I liked this place because it felt homely, cozy, breakfast was awesome, and the owners are so welcoming and helpful that it really becomes a nice Japanese experience. The home grandmother also helped us book our next accommodation and was really lovely.

My family spent one night in Monjuso, a Japanese vintage style hot spring hotel. At first, we were impressed by their very warm hospitality service from the senior female staff, such as welcoming etiquette, introducing facilities and bathrobe, and turn-down service. Then, we found the junior staff are not well-trained, and sometimes are even rude—some of them keep hands in pockets while talking to us. Monjuso does provide mineral hot spring, and their archaic guestrooms and decoration just match all the atmosphere in ancient town of Miyazu. We would be willing to spend more nights in Monjuso next time.

The location right by the Amanohashidate sand bar can't be beat. The inn itself was fine, with a sink in room and fine communal onsen bath. The futon was excellent and comfortable even for side sleepers. However after getting into my room I couldn't stop sneezing and had to take allergy medication so I think likely it has some kind of mold issue (common with tatami). I had no issues in other ryokan I stayed in, including a different one the following night in Miyazu so I don't think it's the weather.

Charming ryokan, kept clean and comfortable by the efficient staff members. It is very near the station and right next to the rotating bridge. We had a room that faced the bridge and sandbar, it was wonderful. The onsen was lovely, both indoor and outdoor. The best part about our stay was the meals. Dinner was excellent excellent excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the well-planned cuisine , with seasonal dishes and very attentive staff.They also recommended a sake that paired well with our dinner. Breakfast was very tasty too. We took a morning trip to Ine on our check-out day, the ryokan kept our luggage for us in a secure room. Thumbs up and will recommend to friends.

I stayed there with my daughter and 85yo mom. This inn serves Japanese style course dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the breathtaking views from our room(horai) , big public baths and library. If you request the Inn in advance, the driver will pick you up and drop at the train station and chef cooks your favorites instead of traditional seafoods. Unfortunately my mom was disappointed the private bathroom in our room that doesn’t have any view and the water was leaking from bathtub. If you plan to use the private bathroom, please make sure that the private bath room has view and is functioned. The inn was supposed to accept all credit cards and I gave the card numbers in advanced via Agoda. However there are the technical issues in the inn side and I had to contacted my Amex concierge in US. I thought it was disgraceful treatment at the end.

We only booked for 2 adults, however we were a family with 2 young children. Owner allowed the 2 kids to stay without additional cost. We were the only customers staying althougj Agoda booking mentioned it was fully booked. Nonetheless, it was great as we had the whole onsen to ourselves. Location is great for those who wants to go to kasamatsue park as it is just across the street.

Miyazu is such a small and peaceful town, and this ryokan is a locally-owned place by a family. We have a super time talking with the owner (which we referred to her as Okaasan) and she was super kind and nice to us. She introduced us to many special stores and places to visit, and we have a lovely discussion with her as well. She supports us in so many way I don't even know how to say thank you. The food served here is totally delicious, a perfect Okaasan's Material! The toilet was so clean and wonderful! The onsen is the best! What a great and wonderful place!!!!!!! Okaasan's Material, must definitely come back to this place again no matter what!!!!

the hotel's overlooking the Miyazu Bay with its serene and pristine nature. it takes 5km from Amanohasidate station resp 5km from Fuchi station to get to the hotel but it i worth every meter. offering a shuttle bus from/to Amanohasidate station makes it perfect if you're traveling by train. there is no onsen in the hotel itself but you get a free voucher to enjoy the onsen next door, that is just 2 minutes walk distance from the hotel. you'll find many amenities in the room like free green tea, soup-powder, lavender seeds for a deep sleep, shoe heater, back massage tool, yukata, slippers and all the goodies that are needed in the bath room. the restaurant serves delicious mediterean-fushion dishes. staff are very friendly, supportive, and help making your stay a memorable one!

I went with my husband and we spent two nights here. We like the service from the staff very much, as they are very polite and accommodating. Basically they are very friendly and helpful. In additiom, the room is clean and the beds are comfortable. The toilets are clean too. Just that the shower room is a bit too small, maybe because they encourage or Japanese usually go for Onsen during cold weather. We
