The hotel is a little far from JR station than I expected. It is near Nagahama Castle and Nagahama port. The public bath room is big, but there are too many users in the weekend evening. Our room has big windows, facing the fantastic lake.
I had a good time. Cleaning staff was alittle loud during the morning but it was okay. Bike rental was included with the booking and it was a good location from the station. Walkable to Nagahama castle and same with Nagahama square.
this is the best ryokan I have stayed so far. the room has a BIG WOW effect especially the outdoor onset which overlooking Biwa lake. the decoration and setup is fantastic as well. the food is amazing. we have 2 breakfast and 2 dinner . they are creative and delicious ... i would definitely go there there again..
