"So as the name suggests it is a bungalow. It has three floors and every floor has three different sized apartments and rooms. I booked two single room apartments. The apartments had a microwave, an electric kettle, a fridge and a toast maker to be used by the guests (which were in decent working condition). The apartments have sofas to sit and watch TV in the common area and one double bed in the bed room. The views from the first and second floor are nice. They charge 1500/- for additional bed with breakfast for an additional guest. The breakfast served isn't buffet (also mentioned on the site) and the taste was good too. Now to mention the points which I did not like are poorly maintained beds, soiled bed sheets and warmers, poor state bathroom taps and flush, noise/sound isolation is poor. Room service can be improved a lot too. There is no backup for the geyser either. They don't prepare lunch/dinner at the hotel but you need to move out either to the Nature's view hotel or the Earl's court, which can be trouble specially if you are tired. Having said that the manager/caretaker Deep is a nice guy and is helpful. The place is nice but I was really let down by the quality of the bed sheets, towels, flush etc. "

"During my stay at Himalaya Hotel, we had good enjoyment in Nainital, very close to Mall Road and Boating, Bus Stand.Only at the time of receiving at 6.30 am, they management not alloted immediately room as per their previous day promise. Mobile also not picked who confirmed to give room at 6.30am. Temporary adjustment one room given upto 10 am. After that because of my force they alloted the booked Room. Otherwise everything is good, nice staff. Definately everybody can enjoy during the stay at Hotel Himalaya, Nainital."

"Nice place in terms of ambience, food, etc. The only draw back is the location. Being in the hilly area, transportation from hotel location (Jeolikote) to other main scenic locations and city centre are pretty much farther. Distance in google maps will show short, but the travel time in steepy/hilly region obviously takes much longer than expected. The food quality is good. The hospitality extended by the front office manager was commendable. The restaurant manager (Laxman Singh / Pankaj) extended their good service while dine-in."

"Our experience with this hotel was very good. We got an extra large room with full view of lake. Our children still missing the hotel. Nice staffs.Breakfast was just Ok. They took care of all the needs. Overall experience was good and will choose the hotel again."

"we had a wonderful stay at the hotel and more so since my son enjoyed the sports and games facilities at the common room. The room had balcony which opened to a great garden view. The complete hotel is well laid with great landscaping and plants and presents a great connect with the nature. Overall very enjoyable and wonderful stay. I would definitely stay in this hotel again on my next vacation at Nainital and definitely for a longer period."
