The hotel was taken as a midday stay between Asahikawa and Wakkainai, and we arrived at 8pm and were told to stay in two smoking rooms, to the contrary of our booking confirmations. Hotel insisted the hotel was fulland unable to make any changes, till we informed Agoda, letting them know the Hotel made this mistake out of details from another hotel site, which I got no idea why they pooled or shared customer info. Eventually we were able to swap one smoking room with a non smoking room, while two of our had to put up with the smoking room, which actually smelled a lot better than the corridor. The hot bath was used in differentslots by male and female patrons, and we one had to wait till 1AM to use it, even though we had settled all the fuss before 9:30pm. Came the following day, we had a very nice, reinvigorating buffet breakfast served just before7:30am, after a pleasant stroll around the quiet neighbourgood. But for the booking mistake not on our part, we would have enjoyed our stay even more. I would definitely recommend this hotel, yet cautioning to ensure the room is right.
