Find Hotels in Omachi, Japan

We stayed one night before going to the Kurobe Alpine route. Best to take taxi from Shinano Omachi station to the hotel - costs 2500 yen. The place has a great onsen which we enjoy so much. The price comes with dinner and breakfast. The dinner buffet is excellent with so many choices. It's a wonderful experience staying there. Wish we arrive earlier in the afternoon to explore the nearby river. The hotel is near the bus stop to Ogimachi which is a big plus especially if you want to start very early morning. Highly recommended and definitely will come back again.

We were staying in the Superior tatami room with a hot bath tub overlooking the river. The room is very clean & spacious enough for me & my husband . The soak in the outdoor Onsen given us a very peaceful & relaxing feel:) And the walk just outside the hotel along the river and around the rows of Sakura trees made this Omachi Onsenkyo stay memorable :) I have booked the half board meal for this stay, however the food for dinner was quite normal to my expectation. However the polite serving staff made up for it.

Highly recommend this hotel. We have the alpine route trip and made a stop in Omachi Onsengou for one night. Hotel staff picked us up at bus stop without our request. Very detailed mind. Every staff is well trained and provided very high level of service. Staff drove us to Shinano omaichi JR station directly after check out. Food is also nice. Weakness are the location of hotel and size of the outdoor onsen is too shy to say. But the service provided by the staff outweighs all these. Highly recommend.

Omachi Onsen Village is a quiet and relaxing town. The best hotel in the world is Karamatsuso. The Japanese style rooms, the hospitality of the manager, the beauty of the hotel environment, the relaxed village streets, and especially the hot springs were very good. During the day, I was able to find my spare time and had a time of healing. Breakfast was deliciously served, delicious and I want to visit again next time. If you are worried about hotels in Omachi Onsen Village, be sure to choose Hotel Karamatsuso. I will not forget the hospitality of the Hotel Karamatsuso.

While trying to find accommodation after the tateyama kurobe alphine route (from Toyama), we came across Ryokan Kanoya, located in omachi onsenyo. It is one of the accommodation where the luggage transfer services can provide seamlessly to (just need to bring your luggage to Dentetsu-Toyama station, fill up a form and write the ryokan name and pay 1300 yen). If you'd like a relax and convenient break from the alphine route, this is the place to be. It's easily accessible from the express bus from ogisawa station. Alight at onsenkyo bus stop and walk slightly more than 5 minutes to the ryokan. Our room is clean and spacious for 3 of us. There is attached toilet and shower facility in the room. There is also onsen in the hotel but we didn't manage to check it out. The host and staff are very friendly albeit minor communication difficulties (they only speak japanese). We were checking with the host about getting a taxi to the shinano omachi station and she offered to drive us there free of charge (we verified a few times as not sure if there may be miscommunication :). And yes, on that morning of checkout, she drove us in her van to the train station. Didn't see much review of this ryokan when I was doing my research. We are glad that we took the 'risk'.

We had a problem with the check-in, the staff tried to say that we booked the different room types and said that the hotel was fully booked in this period and tried to give me the different room style. I had to talked to them for half an hour to get the room that we booked. However the staff finally said there was an error on the system and we finally got the room and dinner as we booked...
