Ibis Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"it's a memorable experience staying in ibis pattaya hotel. at the price of usd 40, the hotel achieved more than what we expected. it takes only 5 minutes to walk to the beach. there are plenty of restaurants along the beach. if you are a show-person, don't miss tiffany's show which is just next door to the hotel. the show costs 600 thai baht and above. the hotel interior is amazing. despite the limited space, the beds and furniture were arranged economically and cozily. ibis pattaya hotel is indeed one of the best value hotels i have ever stayed. a definite "yes" for a return. Dusit Thani Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
North Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"We stayed at the Dusit Hua Hin last year for our anniversary, but this year we thought we'd try the Pattaya location. From parking the car to walking into the lobby, it's a rush of "nice." The place just smells nice. There is an obvious emphasis to detail here. The room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom great. Rain shower. Nice big balcony. I think this is better than the other hotels in Pattaya of similar rankings. Reason is, this one is actually "on the beach," AND it is also on the main bay, overlooking all the other hotels which are NOT on the beach. So you have the best of it all. You walk down to the ground level and go to the beach right out your door. No crossing the street. Then, from your balcony, you sit and enjoy the great view of the Pattaya Bay with all the activity and the cool "Pattaya" sign lit up at night. Food wasn't that great we don't think. I think they have the effort, but need some new recipes. Not sure. It was just missing the wow factor. The pool was nice. Tennis courts on the water. Great view. Good service. Really clean. We'll be back again. "

Hotel Amber Pattaya (SHA Extra Plus)
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the street and you are right in mix for bars and everything Pattaya offers. Price point was fantastic value for money. You can not go wrong staying athe Hotel Amber."

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya (SHA Plus+)
Pattaya Beach Road,Pattaya - View on map
"I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots including Iraq, but I have never felt like I had to watch my back like I did in Pattaya. The beach was filthy. Fortunately, the hotel is isolated from the rest of Pattaya. The pool is enormous and has a great swim up bar. They play organized water sports (volleyball, water polo, etc.) everyday at 1300 hours and everyone gets involved. On the weekend they have an incredible seafood buffet, in addition to the typical Hard Rock menu with some local specialties added. The rooms are very clean and so comfortable and have great views either over the pool and ocean or the city of Pattaya. The actual Hard Rock Cafe is outside the hotel's rear entrance across from the beach. They have live music every night and a good crowd. This hotel is worth mutiple visits, unfortunately, Pattaya is not unless you are a perverted old man who can't meet women on your own. If you are a fan of the Hard Rock brand, then this is a must visit! This hotel is expensive by Thai standards, but this should be expected and you do get what you pay for. Pattaya does have it's own charms, such as fantastic seafood and taking a stroll down Walking Street, but one visit was enough for me. The Grass Serviced Suites by At Mind (SHA Plus+)
South Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"I've stayed at many budget and mid priced hotels in Pattaya , and I would say this was the best overall. I booked it based on the price (less than 1000 baht) and the photo's on Agoda. I've seen reviews criticising the amenities but the photo's are true and accurate of what you're going to get. The rooms aren't huge (25 sq m)as a kitchenette is included but were fine for me. I had very little dealing with reception staff - but they were efficient and helpful on all occasions. The room service and security staff were always smiling and very helpful. There are washing machines you can use for 30 baht or the hotel laundry service. There is a laundry,7/11 and street cafes just outside.. A Big C supermarket 10 mins walk away, mototaxis opposite. It is a ten minute taxi ride away from the beach. The gym and sauna were fine for me the location was ok - if it was nearer the beach you'd be paying twice the price and probably have a lot of noise from bars etc. Overall very good."

Ravindra Beach Resort and Spa (SHA Extra Plus)
Na Jomtien,Pattaya - View on map
"one of the best hotels that we have stayed in thailand. beautiful pool, clear salt/chlorine and great for kids. we got a great deal through agoda. if not 5 star definitely 4.9 star :) you walk onto the beach from the hotel and there are three fabulous swimming pools. the hotel layout and architecture is very nice indeed with thai flavors through out the hotel features. i particularly liked the gardens. also the way they have built the hotel you get more of a community feel to the hotel rather than being locked up in a room somewhere. this hotel is excellent if you want to have a relaxing stay and it is not too far from the center of pattaya. the food is definitely tailored to the western customers. the only comment on the down side is the people at the reception when we checked in. they wanted every detail and was not satisfied until i opened my laptop and got the agoda booking printed out. i think if they smile a bit more everything would be perfect. all in all i love this hotel....a thai gem."

Altera Hotel and Residence (SHA Extra Plus)
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"Best hotel in Pattaya for the money. I hate to write this review because next time I plan to stay it will be fully booked and more expensive...but that is the way it goes...The hotel is near Second Road and Soi 4. Out of the BAM BAM bar area across Second Road. Beautiful pool and great breakfast included. If you ask for a higher floor...say floor six or over...you will have an ocean view from your room. The TV channels suck...only BBC and something else...Internet good...wifi...you may have to move toward the window for best wifi. Staff excellent..helpful...it is a new hotel...opened in March 2012..I have stay there twice and upon my recommendation...my friends stayed twice too...I will not stay in any other hotel in Pattaya...walk to Second Road take Baht buss or walk down soi 5 or 6 to the beach and take baht bus to the mall...plenty of great restaurants in mall...go to 5 or 6th floor. Take baht bus back on Second Road..off at Soi 4..short walk to hotel...I write this review reluctantly because I know it will difficult to get a room there after telling everyone what a great place @Mind Residence Hotel is for the quality of rooms and money it will be difficult for me to get a room there in the future."

LK Metropole Hotel
Central Pattaya,Pattaya - View on map
"400 metres from Pattaya 2nd Road and 50 metres from Soi Buakhao so very well located. The rooms are absolutely first class - clean/spacious with excellent facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive.Soi 13 outside is full of bars and nightlife and Soi Buakhao very close is equally enthralling. Breakfast at the Hotel is surprisingly limited to toast/cereals with no Thai food; for the Farangs is the eggs and bacon breakfast. There is a lovely pool outside and for those who want it - a good gym. In day or evening you can sit on the lovely balcony and watch the world go by whilst enjoying some Thai food and a few beers. Have stayed here 3 times now and it is definitely one of Pattaya's best hotels for the price/facilities. Have stayed at more expensive/glamorous hotels in Pattaya and theya are not a patch on this place. Absolutely first class."

"this is the best hotel in pattaya in my opinion. location is excellent (opposite beach and not far from night life). the hotel itself is 1st class and you can see why it's a 5 star hotel. the room we stayed in had a beautiful ocean view. overall, the only fault of this hotel is that it's quite expensive compared to many other hotels in pattaya. i would stay here again though without hesitation."

More about Pattaya

Pattaya has been a favorite relaxation destination for tourists and locals for over 40 years. The city is centrally located close to the capital city, so it usually sees a large influx of partygoers during long weekends.

Although Pattaya is mostly associated with lazy days on the beach followed by nightclubs, the city has accommodations for a more diverse group of visitors. Hotels in Pattaya cater to everyone from retired westerners, business travelers, young honeymooners, and families. It's an unlikely mix, and only Pattaya could make it seem so effortless.

Families often head to the quieter Jomtien Beach, a crescent slice of sand brimming with water sports and beach facilities. It’s just far enough away from the central party scene, and the hotels in this area quiet down earlier in the evening. Many family-friendly activities are based in North Pattaya, featuring Buddhist temples, elephant and nature parks, and weekend markets.

The famous nightlife epicenter of Pattaya is Walking Street, a neon-heavy after-hours pedestrian strip that follows the waterfront.

While Pattaya is widely known as Thailand's party destination, it's becoming an increasingly diverse place to vacation, with the city emphasizing the other quiet beaches and golf courses as alternatives to the bright lights.

There’s much more to see and learn about Pattaya, and the interactive map on this page is a great way to find out where the attractions and hotels can be found in this exciting city.
