I stayed in a room on the 9th floor facing the ocean. The room is about what you would expect from a Japanese ryokan, but also came with an automatic massage chair in the unit -- very useful after a long day of trekking ...

The location is nice - several minutes walk from the ferry terminal and there is a supermarket nearby. The post office is close so you can withdraw money there. They will also provide you transport to and from the ferry terminal. The room seemed a little old but was kept very clean and it was comfortable.
