Find Hotels in Sakai, Japan

Excellent. For international travellers, the most important factor is probably the location. Osaka has two large shopping cum train hubs: Osaka and Namaba. Hotel Agora Regency Sakai is about 5 stops away from Namba (if you choose rapid service which is the same price as normal service service and both services frequency are alternating). In addition, the Hotel is only 1 min walking distance from the Nanakai Sakai train station. One would appreciate the walking proximity of the train station, as taxi are extremely costly. Additionally, by being a few stops away, you will find the price is much lower than hotels located in the Osaka and Namba hub by as much as 50% (nb: I booked ours for approx US$100 per night with ocean view + larger than average room size (by Japanese standards) + free and fast internet. The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is strong and large mirrors and an adjustable round mirror (excellent). Last but not least, it is directly connected to the Osaka Kansai international Airport in less than 40 mins (by express service). So, for those whose flight time involves several hours, you will truly appreciate getting to the hotel and airport fast and easy. This will allow your travel time to be maximized in Japan I will definitely choose this hotel when I travel to Osaka again.

For my stay with Daiwa Roynet Sakai-Higashi, experienced the best hotel services to the extend you unexpected that every single details count to make sure you are happy and you feel satisfied with it. This is referring to the hotel staff up to house keeping level. It can be rank as 4 star but providing 5 star services. Local transport, subway, Kansai Koay line train and interchange of Kansai Airport line is just 5mins walk away from hotel. Convenient stall, Food & beverage, post office as we'll the tourist information centre was just nearby. I will be back again and definite Daiwa Roynet hotel Sakai-higashi is my first choice of all. Trust me, this hotel with the service level and you have a right choice of it.

First off, it's a little tricky to find. If you try to google it, all you'll get is the Hotel Fine Garden Sakai. It's the same spot, but it's the building behind it. Secondly, I didn't know what it meant by "Adult" hotel, but when I saw my room, I understood. There's free "pay-per-view", there's a vending machine for "adult" stuff, a "massage" instrument, etc. lol. But, jokes aside, the room was huge! The bed was big and comfy. The bathroom was huge - it had a jacuzzi in it too. Toilet in separate room. There was a slot machine in there. Comfy couch. AND! They had a projector TV! You can screen the tv onto a projector that displayed on the whole wall in front of the bed. It was fancy and nice. Location-wise, it's a bit of a walk from the station. Eating wise, there was only a McDonalds nearby. In general, not much around in that area. I guess it's there so "adults" can carry on their "business" in a secluded area, haha.

Though there are some "flaws" in the way things are at APA hotel Sakai like: no free bottled water everyday, the room is small as compared to other rooms in hotels we booked in the past, and the sounds from nearby train station (even our adjacent rooms) are somewhat distracting, these were easily over-shadowed by the many plus factors that made APA hotel Sakai an excellent choice of hotel for us. Notwithstanding all the above-mentioned "issues," our stay at APA hotel Sakai was a very pleasant and enjoyable one. We love the friendly attitude of the staff, as well as the friendly and safe atmosphere of the place. We love it that we were able to easily adapt to our new environment and were able to find our ways around, even without tour guide. We will surely choose to stay at APA hotel Sakai in our next trip to Osaka. Will even tecommend the hotel to friends and relatives.

We were looking for a hotel in Sakai as we wanted to visit some sites there (Bicycle Museum; Knife Museum). The fact that this is a love hotel was actually an attraction rather than a deterrent as we were keen to see what a love hotel is like. We were encouraged by the other reviews saying that it's clean and not seedy. That was indeed the case. The room (downstairs lounge / bathroom; upstairs bedroom) was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. It's close to a train station, so reasonably convenient. You'd be hard pressed to find a room of this standard for this price anywhere in the world. Reception staff have limited English, so knowing some Japanese is helpful if you want to ask for assistance with anything other than just check in or check out.

Hotel Fine Garden Sakai You gotta love. Seriously. Hotel Fine Garden is stocked to the brim with extra little wonders to ensure your stay is nothing short of fabulous. My husband and I booked. For that price you get a whole heck of a lot. Amenities include free wifi, a full Japanese bathroom (with a place to wash up and a soaking spa bath, bath salts, bathroom tv and mood lighting), free breakfast that's delivered to your room anytime 24 hours a day, a large screen television AND projector, karaoke, a ridiculous amount of good quality toiletries, a nice large and comfortable bed and even a POKIE MACHINE. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and checking in is a breeze. Admittedly it's situated in a slightly shady part of time: However it's also only about 20 minutes to the heart of Osaka's main tourist districts and only a quick brisk walk from Ishizugawa station (when you arrive exit via the right and walk right along the train tracks until you arrive). Hotel Find Garden Sakai is remarkably cheap and ridiculously good value hotel. If you're not uptight you'll love it.

This place was wonderful for our last few days in Japan. Although, the location was a little out of the way, the facilities in the room was awesome. They had a massage chair, aircon/light/tv remote cointroller, jacuzzi bath. They even provided exsentials needed for the jacuzzi bath and I really loved their shower area just like the one I have seen at the hot springs. It was a great experience overall at the hotel. Sadly, the shops around closed early or there were few variety of shops nearby and we had to travel out.

I had a 22 hour layover flying from Manila to San francisco through Osaka so I decided to get a hotel to get some sleep and see a bit of Japan. The hotel was easy to get to, the free shuttle runs between the airport and hotel at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 am and 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 pm and drives straight to the hotel/airport; the rest of the time you can take the train from the airport to the nearest train station and the shuttle will pick you up to take you to the hotel or the shuttle drives you to the train station to catch a 20 minute express to the airport, The cost of the train is 750 yen. I went for a walk in the area in the morning, it was clean, lots of greenery, lots of stores, and a park where I sat an relaxed. There isn't much English spoken at the hotel and nearby businesses but I got by. I didn't try the restaurant so don't put any emphasis on my review of the restaurants.

My stay was wonderful and I booked a night on my departure from Japan - I liked it so much! The spa is lovely and it was really good value for money. My only problem was getting to the place, as the people at the airport told me the wrong train station. Thankfully I got chatting to people on the way and they redirected me but perhaps instructions in English for the train journey will be good x

My stay was great, no need for the usual check-in/ out procedures. I would recommned this hotel for those who travel solo or want to feel like a local. The "hotel"/ apartment may not have an english signage, but if you'll follow the owner's guide, you'll easily locate it; plus, it's really called Residence Kitanoda (レジデンス北野田). I love the area because it has supermarket and restaurants. I would definitely book in this hotel again.

First Night - I contacted the place to let them know we would be arriving late. We arrived the place and no none was there. Fortunately, the cab driver was willing to stay with us and he called the number on the website and talked to the owner I assume. The owner gave us the code for the house. The owner wasn’t sure also what room we were supposed to be in. In addition, there were three of us and we were given the room that only had two futons. The room with three futons (the one in the picture) was given to two people. Once settled, we went to bed. Then I heard a knock and some guy told us to lower the sound coming out from our room because there are children? I have no idea what children he was referring to because I never saw children from Saturday until Wednesday when we left. Second Night - A guy knocked on our door that morning. When I opened the door, he didn’t even introduce himself as our host. He just handed the envelope for the payment. After he received the payment, he didn’t welcome us but did say if we wanted another futon to just take it out of the closet. I mean the room only fits two futons. If we laid another one, it will be on top of our suitcases!!!!! Third Night - no encounters with the host. Fourth Night - he told us there was curfew at midnight and we can’t take any showers after midnight. My daughter and my son also heated up the food downstairs and they were told they were not supposed to use the kitchen after midnight and were not supposed to eat downstairs at midnight so they had to bring the food upstairs and ate in the room. This place was not even worth $41 a day! I have travelled to 46 different countries (not including all the cities I have been) and this is the far worse experience I have had. The shared kitchen is filthy and when we arrived, there were dirty dishes in the sink. The stove is filthy and the kitchen utensils are nasty. There is only 1 commode and 1 shower shared by 8 people. They offer to pick you up from the train station about 20-30 minutes away and continue to drive you to local places or to the train when you want to go out. Staff were courteous and helpful. The photos do not do justice for the rooms and amenties. Beautiful during the cold season, can’t imagine how much nicer it looks during blossom season. Breakfast was phenomenal and they will acommodate to your tastes if you’re not up for traditional style. They have a cute German Shepard albeit a huge one. Make sure you bring enough cash to pay the full amount of your stay before you arrive.
