DInah's Garden Hotel has the right combination: great location, large rooms, manageable menu (ie, limited choice but all well prepared), a restaurant located around the pool, efficient and friendly staff who 'go the extra mile' ... in sum, a first-rate combination.

Satisfied traveller The hotel is coming to the end of a massive refurbishment. We did not find this an inconvenience. Our room was immaculate and beautifully refurbished. The staff on reception are doing a brilliant job and we wish them well when they get to their new office.

Hotel is near the airport and at my sister's residence in San Jose. It's also near the statue and church of Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara. My family and I are devout Catholics

This is a relatively large motel complex in Paulo Alto set is attractive rambling grounds. There is a good deli and restaurant on site, and a smallish pool. Staff attention is minimal and the units need some up to date maintenance. Air conditioning units are extremely noisy and decor looks tired. better than average but not wonderful.

Nice stay for a week especially in South San Jose where you're conveniently located near many restaurants and plaza. Around the area, this is probably one of the better hotels to stay at...if you want to feel safe.

The hotel and room we comfortable and well equipped. The small gym was great for a quick workout each morning and the breakfast was fine. The only drawback was that the hotel is located a fair way out of town so you need a car to get around. Provided you have that then there's no reason not to stay here - it's a nice little hotel.

Clean, quiet, everything works, comfy bed, good pool, location incredibly convenient for accessing the whole area although you must have a car. The exterior doesn't looks so wonderful, but the rooms are just fine. Breakfast needs improvement, and we wished there was an electric kettle in the room for making tea.

Walking distance to restaurants. Nice touches in room like water bottles and cookies upon arriving. Simple but healthy breakfast choices and Starbucks coffee.

Highly recommend. Gorgeous bathroom, super comfy bed for a couple, nice, hip outdoor area, decent food and great cocktails. We were worried it might be noisy but it wasn't at all. If we're in the area again, we're definitely staying here.

Good hotel with Restaurant just walking distance. Quite and near to shopping malls. Good for business traveller who need to do some shopping for family.
