Had just stay in this hotel for six days (Oct 2016) Staffs are really nice and helpful, although not everyone understanding English, they just try very hard to explain everything and help us allot Tidy and clean room Amazing river Got few nice restaurant around If you are looking for a relaxing, slow journey, this is the hotel Not only people in hotel, people around are just nice, welcome and sweet even we didn't speak a single Japanese We just can't forget this journey, there will be a second time for us

Spent 2 nights there and surprisingly impressed by the top quality of services that the hosts provided to clients. For example, I don’t eat fried fish and the host help provide alternative course for breakfast. Besides, it appears to me that the hosts are very attentive to details, and top quality of facilities, decor and furniture are used. The view of the accommodation is excellent overviewing the Shimanto City and surrounding green belt! Nevertheless, it also means that the uphill location could only fit for those travelers who drive. Highly recommend to those travelers who demand quality services!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while walking the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage. I was pleasantly surprised by my room. It was a typical Japanese room - i.e. fairly narrow and with a plastic molded bathroom, but it was clean, reasonably comfortable and pleasant. The view from my room was of the lovely Sukumo countryside with rice paddies and mountains in the background. The staff was friendly. Breakfast at the hotel was good, and there is a very nice restaurant just 50 metres away servind traditional Japanese fare which I also recommend. This hotel really offers good value for money.

It's not like being in a hotel or ryokan, regarding the service and convenience. But because of this, it is special: It's a beautiful location in the nature, with an amazing view and a very lovely created site. Alternative somehow, good for young people (also for us, over 40ies). We've been the only guests, so we could enjoy the silence and a private onsen bath with seaview - even though the service was very kind and the japanese dinner (all biological, from own producing) was great. I'm looking forward to my next stay there!
