The staff is great and the owner Wahyu is really sweet and helpful. He organized our early morning tour to Mount Bromo and it was wonderful. We slept great, the space was very comfortable, and good value for our money overall. Breakfast was included and they even packed us food to-go when we left at 6 am to catch a train, so sweet! Just beware, don’t leave your belongings out in public. I took off my tennis shoes and left them outside after our hike (because they were covered in dirt) and they were unfortunately stolen. Wahyu and the staff were great and helped me search for them. They said it’s never happened before so it’s probably not common, but just a heads up! Would recommend to anyone! This place is still amazing :)

Our stay at the hotel was really memorable! By far the best aspect was the helpful staff, especially Mr Wahyu, the owner, who told us everything about the sunrise visit/viewpoint and climbing of Mount Bromo! (He even told us about hiking higher than the viewpoint) After spending two weeks traveling throughout Java, I can say that homestay owners always help you organise your trip! For the rest, rooms were clean and Wifi was good. Breakfast was included! The homestay has a restaurant, so no need to go out looking for a place to eat, the food is delicious! GO FOR IT!

One of the friendliest places I've stayed at in the world thanks to the very welcoming Mr Wahyu. My room was comfy and clean. The food at the cafe was lovely and reasonably priced. It was a fairly easy and safe 20 min walk from the station at night on my own as I only had hand luggage. I went on the 2.30am Bromo sunrise tour for 400k which was really good - but it is a steep and cold 20-30 minute walk up the mountain to see the sunrise from where the 4WD had to stop. I would definitely recommend to all of my friends. There is a mart down the road to stock up on snacks. I bought my train ticket to Surabaya (Gubeng) from this mart.

Perfect place”
Everything in this place is perfect. The rooms are in excellent condition and very clean. The garden is beautiful, the common area is cozy, the location is central and the internet fast. But the best of it are the people working there, very polite, friendly and extremely helpful for any information, tips and recommendations you may need. I had very interesting chats with the manager and aurelia and appreciate very much their kindness and time they take for any guest. I felt like home and that's the place i will always return to when i am in probolingo.

An incredible helpful staff and awesome facilities”
This place is the best. The rooms are clean and nice, theres awesome cheap food, and most of all the staff is unbelievable helpful and kind. They helped us arrange a tour to mount Bromo, for cheap, and it was super convenient. They also help us get to Bali. A guy took us to the right bus ( a great ac bus with lots of space) and it was super easy. Id you are to stay in probolingo, this is the only place!!

Hotel staff organized a Bromo tour for hotel gueasts (bargain comparing to other offers), we extended to see waterfall as well and went back way after checkout time - no problem at all, they additionally organized a transit quickly to the railway station. 10/10 for people there.

The staff, especially Manager Wahryu, were extremely helpful with arranging our tours to Mt Bromo and Tempuk Sewu waterfall. Tours were reasonably priced and well organised too. Rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. Centrally located with a huge supermarket and PizzaHut within 5 min walking distance. Highly recommended!

Very friendly manager, comfy and clean room ”
We originally only booked one night and ended up staying there for 3 nights. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. They organize good and cheap trips to Mount Bromo and the big waterfall park. The manager was great, helpful and spoke very good English. Only the staff was a bit difficult to speak to since their English was rather poor. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!

Quiet place, great travel tips and tour to the Bromo!”
The room was simple but clean and nice. Bathroom does the job. Everything was clean and convenient. The location is quiet and they have a nice common space downstairs with cute cats roaming about. The manager made the place extra special! He was super friendly and gave us great tips to travel around Probolinggo, organized a tour to Mt Bromo and taught us how to use Grab 😅 We had supper at their small restaurant and the food was really tasty and the staff is so friendly and caring!

Good for exploring mount bromo”
We went there for doing mount bromo by our own with the motorbike, but they even provide tours for a faire price. The owner was really helpful and gave us some nice tips for mount bromo. The stuff itself was friendly all the time and breakfast was good and enough. Unfortunately something was wrong with the bed sheet. When we were laying at the bed the first time, it felt like something is biting us? But we didn‘t saw any animals etc. on the bedsheet. We packed out our own bed sheet we brought from home and put it on the bed. After that we didn‘t had problems anymore. After checkout we saw on my boyfriends arm that there were several bites in a row, which is definitely from the bed at this homestay... so if you notice something like that - just talk to the reception and hope for a good solution...

Bromo n Madakari waterfalls not to be missed. Hotel Boss can organise for you. BROMO crater suggest you ride the horse to the base of crater. The journey is uphills when approaching the crater. So the return leg is less demanding. Bring a good face mask. The weather while waiting for sunrise is 12-15 C. ( end of June). Book yr onward train tickets early, if applicable as they are fast sold off . Sumber Hidup (Chinese n Indon foods) and Bu Lely (BBQ Bebek ducks) are worth a try. Easily access by Grab. Hotel recommended.
