Good but Fournier beware ”

The staff and food was of a high quality for where and what club Emerald was however as a western traveler in a completely Indian hotel language was a barrier and lower level staff took advantage of this by asking for cash on the stop for goods and services rather than charge them to room. naturally they would skim from the top by raising the prices.

Perfect location, environment and price”

Stayed here with family and the location, restaurant (Menu variety was impressive and food taste was good), room ambience and staff service was quite good. The only gripe would be that you need to request for the WiFi code on a daily basis (Not a big deal) and the restaurant is vegetarian only but I don't suppose this should be a deal breaker for anyone who needs non-veg. I do read up on reviews before booking and hence wrote this review if that might be of help to someone considering this place. For those with young kids they also have a play area which is well maintained.

Great find”

Outstanding food all round. Breakfast is a highlight, the outdoor patio mixed with excellent and varied food and attentive and polite staff is a real plus. We ordered room service, including once at 2 am after a late night arrival, was again excellent. Mumbai is a loud and busy city and it was nice to come home to a quiet hotel. Would highly recommend

stayed 5 nights here pros 1.Good location,in a suburb,quiet peaceful 2.New establishment,so rooms are very neat 3.Its a club too,so in addition to swimming pool,there's badminton, squash, spa,gym at nominal charges cons 1.Since it's a club too,I guess they aren't very keen on hotel,had to report twice saying there's no water flow 2.Its a pure veg establishment,would have personally liked non veg food, atleast egg in breakfast,but that's a personal choice 3.Staff could be more guest friendly,requested for a late check-out for 3 hrs,but was denied,it's fine when the hotels fully booked but there were many vacant that day,could have gone an extra mile 4.Prices in the restaurant are a bit high,may b that's to compensate for the 30% discount they offer their members 5.Breakfast spread is good,but somehow Chutney wasn't tasty ,but the rest of the breakfast was good 5.the WiFi password changes each night at 12,so need to collect that daily Overall,it was an ok experience,but having to report water problem was sadly not a "4star" experience

Excellent property with a wonderful experience”

Away from city's hustle bustle, it's a well maintained new property. For a change, I liked a hotel in Mumbai :). Quiet ambiance with spacious outlook. Too good a property to miss out.

Overall good place to stay.”

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and nice.They helped me order cabs whenever i needed to go somewhere.The only thing is that it serves only vegetarian food.So if you are a carnivore maybe its not the place to go.But still you can order your food from outside on some apps and they will deliver to hotel.But morning breakfast mostly vegetarian but can have cornflakes and some cakes as well.But overall my stay was good.

Good Value for Money Hotel”

A new hotel with some operational rooms and some rooms being made ready with interior works going on. Good value for money with decent facilities and decent sized rooms The only negative that I can think of is - it is a completely vegetarian hotel, albeit good for vegetarians All said and done I would stay again at this hotel

The staff are friendly, however there is a need to improve professionalism of service. (A few staff members were exceptional) Inconsistent service levels for house keeping and room service/food. Also given they cater to international guests, it’s quite disappointing that quite a few of the staff don’t speak English.

The AC in the suite room is not up to the mark and it takes a very long time to feel the cooling.

Transit hotel”

Booked tis hotel for 1 night wt my family of 8 , they could not give me twin room as requested but upgraded 2 of the rooms. For the third room i requested for extra bed, but they gave me a sofa bed which was dirty and the bed sheet was equally the same. Breakfast was only ok..

The hotel is very neat and tidy. Good is pure veg and good. Though this time there was problem with our room air conditioning.

It is ok but a little trouble for wifi connect since needs India phone number for register, so not so much convenient. The breakfast is local and have no many types to choose.

Acceptable”

This property is not ready for foreigner, in fact, it is a local recreation club with rooms for rent. Sudden spurts of water during shower, a/c not cold, wifi registration need a local phone number and connection is a challenge at times.
