Across the street from the beach and is a great deal for less than 2,000THB before taxes. Maldives is not cheap. It is an easy walk around the area for different shops and a fair price for the taxi service to the airport. I highly suggest you taking the water taxi across to the downtown island and go to the Market - go behind at beach side around 5PM and look for the stingrays coming in to feed!

We had a good time in Coconut tree. We've booked 3 rooms : 2 Executive Room & 1 Sky Suite for a family of 5 adults & 3 kids & 1 infant. A bit disappointed cos there's no elevator n quite small staircase. Glad the staff help us with the luggages. Nice breakfast eventhough not much variety. Thank you for having us!

Value for money ”

Stay one night and have a good experience. Free upgrade to suite is greatly appreciated. Staff ensuring transport to airport on time for seaplane as early as 5.30am! Clean, new, more spacious than precious hotels I had stayed in Hulhumale. It looks near the end of the island on map but is actually less than 5 mins drive from those centrally located ones.

Good for stopover”

A small hotel but nice and clean. Look newly renovated. Staff are helpful. Hotel is closed to the airport and hotel provides transfer services. Local convenient shops are near the hotel. A good hotel to stopover before taking morning ride to island resort.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff are awesome. They're all very nice and friendly. They helped us with everything! The hotel manager, Zaki, is awesome! He helped us a lot and the other girl that is pregnant was very helpful too! This hotel is in the beachfront so you can easily walk 50 meters and you're already in the awesome beach. Even if it's not a resort, the water is already crystal clear and the sand is super white. AMAZING!!! You all should stay here if you're travelling on a budget and don't want to stay in an island resort.

Perfect layover hotel”

Had the opportunity of staying in this hotel for 2 nights before going to one of Maldives' island resort. The Sky Suite at the top most floor has an open balcony with an artsy-looking bathtub and very Instagram-worthy. The hotel is right in front of the beach where you can dine in the evening. The in-house Kick's restaurant serves quite a variety of food including fried rice with smoked tuna (valhomas). The staff are friendly and helpful. There is no lift for those who are unable to climb a flights of stairs.

Good service, clean and value for money. ”

Stayed 2 days at the sky suite. The service was great. Outdoor shower and spa bathtub was nice. Very attentive staff. Nice location, so you can have water sports activities at the beach opposite to the hotel. Overall a very good place in the hulhumale area. The breakfast choices are very limited, hope they will improve as it is still a new property based on guests incoming.

Taxi at Male to Hulhumalle cost mvr100 only but was charged usd7 x 4 pax= usd28 instead of usd7 equivalent to mvr100 by our hotel.

Room was little bit small than we have expected. We booked the sky suite, but there was some construction work going on very close to the bath tub. Because of which we requested the staff to cover bath tub which took few hours. However breakfast they provided was very good and beach and restorers was very close from the hotel.

A nice hotel for an overnight stay”

A newly refurbished hotel in the middle of the town. The room is good sized with water and in-room coffee/tea provided. However, needs to improve on cleanliness of the room as I found a large dead cockroach underneath the suitcase rack and the towels provided are not very clean. The shower was hot initially but then turned cold after a while as I guess the hot water tank may not be large enough. The hotel got a cafe in the front which is a convenient if you arrive in the evening. Breakfast is simple but taste nice. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

Very nice hotel in Hulhumale”

We have stayed here for 2 nights and everything seemed perfect. The rooms are clean, bright, nice decoration and pleasant to stay. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also delicious. Definitely reccommend to everyone coming to Maldives and Hulhumale!

Long term stay ”

Well let me briefly elaborate my experience for this lovely property as follows: 1. This property is a new property 2. The best staff on this property are Mr. Zaki and Mr. Imran. 3. The property has many hurdles because they try to get into your privacy of knowing who you are what you do and why you stay here and all kind of awful jokes from higher management of this hotel. 4. One day all my laundry clothes were given to the hotel for laundry and iam talkin about clothes worth over 600 dollars and someone took the clothes and keep it in there store room and I never received it, so I went back and asked the staff at reception and they said that it was never given and they are not responsible for it and they don't care but it was taken by the hotel and they get back to you in this way. So before a day we checked out the most helpful guy Imran brought a bag to my room and showed me sir are these your clothes and I said yes these r my clothes. I asked why r the so dirty and were did u find them. He stated sir iam sorry but it was in our store room for 3 weeks now. And I said it's ok can we get it cleaned and I got it cleaned. Then this lady April is the one who gave me this information rudely that they don't care. 5. One night as we were sitting by the inside garden of hotel in the night I have seen people using drugs and cops were running around so be careful whoever stays here Orelse you might end up in trouble because the management itself cover it for there staff. 6. The most reliable person on this property is Zaki who will treat you as a family member and do watever the best he could and second person is Imran who will do the best to serve you. 7. So as a overall be careful when u choose this property looking at these concerns otherwise the property is beautiful and perfect. 8. Other then these two people the management is totally unqualified in all the aspects. 9. So it's a best hotel for transit like for a night stay 10. If you want to eat good food just as

Staff waited & picked up us from Airport, eventhough our flight delay and long queue at custom. Breakfast not bad too..

Didn’t worth it”

We stayed 2 nights there. Maldives is supposed to be relaxing but stayed in this hotel was not the case. For those who will book be careful there is a lot of construction around, I don’t think they will finish until beginning of 2019. We were awake around 6.30 am every morning.. for the breakfast ! It was a really big joke !! Don’t trust the pictures. We had a breakfast in the fast food just behind the hotel. One oily omelette + 2 horrible sausage (I think that they kept from the day before) juice and service horrible. For the WiFi.. be patient they allow you only 300mb per day... we were very exhausted from this stay. Cannot sleep and eat well. You had to close the windows because the men from the construction can see you from the other building who are only from 2 mettre (facing the hotel). Please listen to us. And don’t book this hotel. Or at least call them to have a clear details (construction, breakfast, facilities etc.) Ah sorry i forgot to mention that for the beach no bikini at all or short for men it is a local beach you have to walk around 20min to access to the tourist beach.

Two nights stay ”

The only positive thing I could find was the location...close to the airport only couple minutes by taxi. Other than that this hotel was the biggest disappointment and would not recommend to anyone!! We have only stayed 2 nights as we than took a boat to other resort as we wanted to experience the capital Male at the beginning. Rooms are really small,dark with a lot of noises from the pub downstairs. Furthermore the level of cleanliness overall is really bad, no fresh water at the room,fridge wasn’t working (so we couldn’t even have cold water) and towels had funny smell. Breakfast wasn’t buffet as on the photo, it was the same breakfast every day - very simple, black coffee, 2 sausages and egg omelette. No fresh fruit or veggies...very disappointed! The last day I have order transport from the hotel to the ferry in the city and they have charged me USD 24.00 for one way. The transport was booked for 9.30am however they told me we have to go at 9am as they had to clean the room. We were dropped off at the ferry terminal at 9.15 and waited over 45mins in the heat with young child. The staff simply did not care! Lastly I have been overcharged, I have paid different price that was advertised on Agoda and 10 days later I have realised they charged me twice. So I have paid over $1100 AUD for 2 nights for really bad hotel! It was honestly the worst experience I have ever had. Please do yourself a favour and do not go there!!
