The ideal getaway”
It was the ideal place to have our wedding. The owner, Allan contacted us before we reached to prepare before we arrived. The room was cosy and comfortable. The area was very convenient with food places and a supermarket nearby. On the day of the wedding, we were welcomed by a bottle of champagne by the owner and his wife - yes, that explains the level of hospitality we received during our stay. Overall, the motel is rated as 3-star but it was a 5-star experience for us. The town had the perfect medley of sea, mountains and city amenities. We were sad to leave after 2 days and it felt like we were leaving a family behind.

Friendly Staff, spotlessly clean”
Even though the motel was located close to to highway we did not hear any road noise. We were greeted be very friendly and helpful staff, the room was basic but spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again.

No blinds and a lot of windows so it was very bright. Room was advertised as having a balcony- a balcony is not a table and chair out the front of the ground floor room where the car is parked. Bed was comfortable so sleeping was ok when people outside weren't being noisy and it wasn't too bright. Chose this motel because it was advertised as a "deluxe double room with balcony" and had a couch in the pictures- there was no couch or balcony. Nicer places to stay for similar price in the area.

Clean, lovely staff, new bathroom. We stayed here whilst heading up the coast on holidays. We would recommend staying here for a stop over. Whilst not glamorous (and doesn't try to be) it has everything you need for a quick overnighter. Good value, clean and friendly staff. Would book again.

Clean Hotel ”
The deluxe room come with a balcony, the room was clean and with a modern twist. The bathroom had a funky mold smell to it. If you are a light sleeper, good luck getting any sleep. A lot of noise from the main roads at he front and back of the motel. Car park isn't secure and loud locals hanging about late at night. Management was nice and tentative, overall the hotel was old style that had charm

Disappointing ”
We have stayed at this motel before and found it to be fine. On this stay we were allocated one of their rooms that had not been renovated, it was up some very steep stairs and had a funny smell. It was also close to the designated smoking area so we had to put up with the smell of smoking. The owner did offer a refund but as it was 8pm and we were tired we ended up staying regardless of our dissatisfaction.

Really friendly staff and clean and spacious room with everything you want. Only issue were the blinds were white so didn’t keep much light out - invest in curtains would make a great difference.
