This is my go to when staying in American Village in Okinawa where I also go shore diving with a 5 mins drive away. Big supermarket, Aeon around and lots of restaurants. Beach is just a minute away. Clean and big rooms with balcony and small kitchenette. Great service from staff.

Great value and awesome location”
A few steps from the beach and in American Village, this convenient location can’t be beat for the price. Generously sized rooms and an ocean view every time. A pleasant stay and it was very quiet even for a rowdy Saturday night crowd.

you can't beat it's location and the spacious room”
while the rooms looks a little dated but its well-maintained and clean! The reception staff spoke reasonably good English, friendly and helpful so there is no problem at all. The condo parking lots indeed fill up fast and dont expect any free lot after 6pm till next morning after people starts to check out. This should not be a huge issue since there are enough free parking lots just walking distance (like 5 mins walk) away in which the reception staff will advise you with a map. Not sure if there is any restaurant on site as we did not include in our room rate but with the American Village right beside, why would we need to dine on site, there are more than enough choices just walking out of the condo. Will stay here again if we are back in Okinawa and visiting American Village again!

Good hotel in a great location. ”
Sitting just steps away from the beach with shopping, restaurants, and fun activities all nearby, Monpa is a great hotel for you. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have the amenities we needed. Since we were only there for three nights we decided against paying for the maid service (it’s not included in the price). But if you take your shoes off when you come in and are otherwise not messy, you won’t need it. You can exchange towels one for one at the front desk for no additional costs, though. Overall, well worth the it for the location and nice rooms.

Good location and easy to find and nice guy to provide service. Let me come back again. But, just a little problem with cleaning. There're too many sands on the carpet. Although it close to the sunset beach, it should take more concentration on cleaning. However, it was a good hotel that I recommend.

Perfect location”
I have stayed at Monpa several times. It is always clean with friendly staff at a reasonable price. The internet was off and on, but not bad. The shower was awesome with plenty of hot water. It is centrally located with easy access to American Village and Sunset Beach.

Very good”
This hotel is located conveniently near the America Village with lots of wonderful foods. However, the only way there is by car or cab. Parking is limited to first come first serve basis. The front staffs will recommend a free overnight carpark near the Starbucks which is a traffic junction before the hotel. There is only the beach facing view from the room but you can still see the village view from your front door. Room is typical enough for a family of 4 with 2 beds and an additional bed.

Room is spacious, much space for my 1.5 year olds baby to play/walk around. Location is good, near AEON and AEON closed at 12:00 mid-night, very convenient. Good view from the room!

Nice location, but definitely over rated”
The front staff were very helpful, the location was great. However the mattresses were awful and pillows were flat, which I think comfort bed is essential for a hotel....and this hotel doesn't have it.

Limited parking. Was here for business, stayed for a total of 18 weeks and switched my accommodations. I wouldn't recommend for a long term stay.

Perfect location for your get away”
I fully enjoyed my stay at Chatan Beachside Condo Monpa. The location was excellent conveniently on the beach and located across the street from American Village plus a stones throw to the local us military bases. Our room was clean, loved the shower room. When hubby checked in and I asked if the desk spoke English he said very little but when I went down to exchange our towels I had no problem understanding the staff. They really make an extra effort to converse in English. Note you are responsible for daily tidying of your room. My hubby wished they would have come in to collect the trash but he had no other complaints. I had to use my Google translator to understand the condo's policies as everything was in Japanese. Keep in mind that you will have to pay for parking. I will definitely choose this location to stay on my next visit to Okinawa

Clean and cozy condominium”
In my opinion, this condominium is located in the best place in Okinawa. There are many shopping shops and grate restaurants within a 3 minute walking distance. Also, petty beach in front of this condo is very clean. Plus, the sunset at this beach is very wonderful. Since the room is very big, three people can be stay in one room. (In one room, there are two single bed and one sofa bed.) Microwave and electric stove are installed. So, you can cook the food in the room if you borrow cookware from the lobby. However, building is under construction right next to the condo. So, you can see construction equipment that blocks some noise and landscapes during the day. Considering the construction status, it is expected to be completed before next spring. Anyway, I would like to stay here again if I come back to Okinawa. Staying at this accommodation at this price is really fantastic.

Good value for money”
Price is very good, just half price of the Vessel Hotel which is several blocks away. Monpa hotel is just by the side of America village, only 50 metres distance, and very close to the beach. Room is very large, I guess it is more than 50 sq. Metres in size, with 2 large bed and a pantry. The bath room is large also.

Very clean, large size hotel”
The hotel was perfect. Very close to Sunset Beach (1 minute) with nice view. Room size was also big compare to other Okinawa Hotel. A/C, hair dryer, fridge.. Everything was all in. However, the parking lot was not enough use, so we used the public. And there was a construction while we were staying. It's not noisy but trucks are moving so people with baby need to aware.
