We had an incredible week at Coral Bay resort. The staff are incredibly friendly, the on-site restaurant is great, the location is nice and secluded. A great spot for a relaxing stay in Koh Pu. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for everything to all the staff at Coral Bay for making us feel so welcome.

Nice place with very good bungalows”
the hotel is in the middle of the koh pu beach on koh jum. the bungalows have been build in 2011 and are in a very good condition. the only negative point i can mention is the power generator running from 6pm until 4am, with earblugs no problem but for dinner a bit anoying. else the place is just great.

So friendly!”
Our first 3 days at coral bay were so rainy. Ko pu is a very small, very secluded island. Not much to do unless you take an expensive motorbike ride into the village. Takes about 30 minutes. We came for relaxation and to get away from markets and vendors and busy city life. Coral bay is a family run business and the daughter is unbelievably nice and speaks English very well. Every meal was wonderful and cooked to order. I had to go to the clinic while on the island and she arranged for a taxi to pick me up, take me there, wait for me, and take me back. More than just a resort. You're treated like family. Electricity has limited hours, so from 7-11:30 each night, you can chill in the restaurant and use the wifi and what not. The rooms are pretty big and they all have mosquito nets (you'll need them). Showers were not hot, but you won't really miss that since the beach is so hot. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Koh Jm is a must visit. Secluded peaceful it's amazing & really Coral Bay completely added to my experience. Yeah the water is a little random at times but you get a great room with a massive bed & the food is absolutely fantastic. I don't normally eat where I stay but I can say Coral Bay made me reconsider! Lastly the hotel is ran but a great family in particular the lady at the front desk!

Very nice and peaceful place!”
If you are looking for a place to relax, this it is! Not too many things to do except lay down, swim and stay on the beach. Good food and not too expensive. There are no stores at Koh Jum almost at all, so be sure you bring your own things with you if you want. Friendly staff, family owned. They will help you with everything you need. Wifi connection poor. Electricity only in the evenings.

Peaceful location with fantastic family run resort”
My wife and I loved our stay at Coral Bay. We were looking for a quieter island where we could witness unspoiled beaches and still have a few amenities. This part of the island has fewer resorts and most are very basic, but Coral Bay managed to do basic very well! The staff couldn't be lovelier and the food was some of the best Thai food we had. I recommend renting a scooter from Coral Bay of from the guys at the end of the beach to explore the island which can be done in a day. There's a pretty decent coffee shop called Saalman Coffee & Bakery that does a pretty good cappuccino and is known for good pastries (they had sadly sold out on our visit) that is a short ride into town. Also, you'll get a chance to see rubber trees along the way. Overall, We were sad to go but happy to let others know of our great experience.

Gorgeous setting and fantastic service”
Had a fantastic time when we stayed here. It is quiet, peaceful and a lovely place to get away from it all for a few nights (at a decent price!). The food is great, the staff are friendly (family run business). The rooms are lovely, private bathrooms, mosquito net, and a little outdoor seating area. We stayed for 3 nights then went to Koh Lanta and decided to come back for another 4 nights! Sunset each evening is unforgettable, a fantastic camera moment! The young girl, is extremely friendly, speaks great English and will make you feel just at home! All in all, not one negative thing to say.

Wonderful people! ”
Aew and her family and staff are the very best you can imagine. You soon forget the things that might annoy you a little bit at first (like perhaps the stony beach and the noisy nightly generator) because their hospitality makes all those things seem unimportant. You can enjoy good food and drink, maybe have a chat with Aew, and just relax in a sun chair in the sand beneath the restaurant, listen to the ocean and watch the longtail boats... The cabins are simple but very nice and clean. I had some landry done for me very satisfactorily and it didn't cost much. In my opinion as long as you're aware of this beach being very stony and not good for swimming, Coral Bay is really worth your money.

Comfortable time at quiet Koh Pu ”
Enjoyed three nights in quiet Koh Pu. The staff is excellent led by Aew. Her mom cooks delicious Thai food. Our only wish was that the cottages could have faced the sea.

a romantic cast away!”
the bungalow are simple, no A/C but it is just fine because in the night is not that hot at all. The location is perfect isolated on the bay that not many tourists and peaceful. I can enjoy laying down watching the sunset and finished my novel in two days. Perfect for those who seeking the peaceful beach and inspiration but not good for a traveler who looking for something entertainments. The food at the resort was so good. Even though the price doesn't include the breakfast but for delicious $2 french toast and yummy $3-4 Thai food over rice, I think people can full their stomach easily. They clean the room everyday and the staffs are all friendly. I really recommend this resort for those who have a sense of adventure!

Nice basic bungalows with great management”
Bungalows are very basic but clean, location is great, but you depends of low tides - the bay has a lot of rocks. Restaurant us great, you shouldn't look for other options! Thank you, Aew and family for beautiful 3 days on Ko Pu.

Paradise”
Wonderful stay - great bungalow and deck with sea view, delicious food, and friendly helpful hosts. Lots of fish and some corals to see just in front of the resort. Soft deep sand. We extended our stay, for two weeks total!

- best price performance ratio for accommodation, service and thai cuisine - beautiful and clean bungalows with a superb view (in the first row) on the sea - daily cleaning of the bungalows and new towels - tow different bungalows available (we stayed in the better bungalow) - very helpful and kindly staff

lovely staff, nice huts just off the beach”
enjoyed our stay would recomend, the huts were clean and shaded. the fan works well from 6pm to 3am and the generator is quiet. good wifi in the restaurant. only downside was the rocky beach in front of the resort, but nice sandy beach 2mins walk away. great little beach bar at the end of yhe beach were you can hire mopeds.

No hot water or coffee available in the room due to generator electricity and also too short of time available of electricity usage as was cut off fr 6am. meaning no hot shower available when waking up in the morning though the services rendered by the friendly staffs were excellent.

Best service you can get. The place is hidden paradise. If you are looking for relaxing without modern age equipment, this is the place to be. Aew, the girl whos running the place is just lovely, and will make your stay feeling like home. Restaurant has awesome food.

Nice hotel”
Right on the beach, staff very friendly and helpful. First night we got upgraded to a superior room due to our standard room leaking because of the rain. Superior room was lovely, wish we could have stayed there for our stay however our budget wouldn't allow us. Standard room was OK, bathroom wasn't very clean.

Pacefull bungalow in a very quite place”
Is good to stay there and the woman who administrate the place is very nice. But you have to know that there is no possibility to go into the sea, because of the rocks. If you are not interested in swimming, then it´s ok. Also you can stay one or two nights there and the go to the other side of the island, where there are less rocks and the beach is bigger.
