nice resort with nice staff and very clean rooms!”

we stayed at a coral resort in a nice bungalow. room-service every day (it was very clean!) and the staff spoke very good english and was very helpful and nice. we liked the breakfast (muesli, fruits, toast, butter, jam, rice, soup, spaghetti, sausages, ham, tea, coffee, juice, fresh scumbled/fried eggs) and enjoyed the view to the sea. coral resort is at kai bae. we are young, but we enjoyed that we weren´t at the bigger beaches lonely beach or white sand beach. it was quiet, but not in the middle of nowhere. there are several restaurants and bars just round the corner. we ate there every night, which was great, because we did not have to change the village for food! i think the pool isn't that great how people wrote here. one negative point: the wifi did not work very well they said it had to do with the mail-line, but other restaurants or bars had great connection...

Cosy little resort with small bungalows ”

Coral resort is great value for money for budget travellers! It's not v high end but just right if you want to relax. The bungalows are by the sea and v cosy..also v clean.. The pool is nice and the sunset view from the pool is a sight to behold!! The Kai bae beach area is v nice and lively..good for some small shopping.. Tesco lotus mart is just opposite the resort so it's v convenient.. The most imp part is its proximity to a veg Indian restaurant called emperor of India.. There is a good choice of bars outside the resort so it's quite centrally located..

Excellent Resort, Good Service”

We have wonderful time stay at coral resort on our holiday we are come back to Coral Resort every year on holiday, because stay here we are feel like stay at home in USA , my husband love to stay at coral resort owner so friendly take very good care of guests Breakfast is very good you get what you pay for, Staff very friendly helpful try very hard to help all guests Maid clean up room everyday, get free water, free wi-fi at rooms, swimming pool, restaurant Have Large swimming pool that you always can go swim and lay down on chair and relaxing watch the sunset is very romantic moment we are love it. It so spectacular everyday you see the different color of sunset you can put all Valuable at safety deposit at reception everything is safe never been lost or Disappear from Envelope they Sealed with adhesive tape and give you signed your name in between Envelop and adhesive tape so if someone open your envelop you will know immediately, safety deposit responsible by the owner from coral resort to sand beach only short walk 5 minute that is no problem for us, You can rent motorbike go around island , I and my husband visit many place by motorbike excited and a lots of fun. stay here very peaceful no noise from beer bar what you can hear is the bird ,Cicada and The waves of the sea. We're booking for 1 night but my husband always decide to stay for 2 weeks you can Upgrade from garden view to superior sea view just pay small amount then be excellent with sea view, lay down on bed in room still can see the sea view and beautiful sunset Surely we are come back to stay at coral resort again on my next holiday

Enjoyable vacation on affordable resort close to the sea and the beach”

We spent all in all 25 days at Coral Resort First 14 days we had a lovely little unit “House with view beside”. Very spacious and we just loved the veranda rhat was almost as big as the inside of the unit. You could walk about 45 seconds down to the sea and enjoy the astonishing sunset. The remaining 11 days we moved to a “Seafront superior deluxe room” situated just in front of the ocean. This unit was not as spacious as the first one and a little bit aged that made itlook a little bit ay downed. A minor ant problem when we checked in and two cockroaches inside the room. Lovley view off course but we liked the first unit better because of the veranda. Every morning a breakfast buffet was served at the restaurant/reception witch was fresh and varied. Excellent staff as well who was in charge. A pool area is also connected to the resort with its own restaurant and bar. The sunbed needs to be upgraded though. Coral is situated very close to the main road at Kae Bae Beach.

Last minute booking yields fabulous vacation”

Reservation was made 12 hours before arriving and despite a slight delay finding our online reservation, it was countered by outstanding customer service. First time to Koh Chang - will definitely return, and return to Coral Resort on Kai Bei beach!

A good value, the staff is great!”

The pool overlooking the sea is probably the best thing about this place, as the Kai Bae beach is a couple of hundred meter walk away. It's easy to walk to the road and restaurants and they have many different room options and prices. If you prefer a pool to the beach, it's a great place to stay. I gave it 4 stars for location because of the walk to the beach.

Quiet quality”

Stayed for four nights at Coral resort and rurally enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were efficient and friendly. The pool was great and really quiet most of the time, ideal for older people wih very few children. The grounds were beautifully kept and the hotel was very central to Kai Bae.

Very good choice for a stay on Ko Chang”

We enjoyed our stay at the Coral Resort. The waterfront location was beautiful, although not "beach-front". Beach front facilities are located immediately to the north of the Coral Resort if that's your thing. Gardens and pool were very nice, and the hotel offered motorbikes for rent to tour local sights on Ko Chang. Hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the property is showing its age a bit, and requires ongoing maintenance and upgrading -- although not so much that it would make me hesitate to stay again -- I would, for sure. It's a beautiful spot!

Most stunning beach front resort”

Stayed for three nights in the beach front double bedroom facing the beach. There is no swimming opportunity in the resort due to hard rocks guarding the resort front but the resort pool & facing the beach has the stunning towards the beach ever. Rooms ate very well maintained, clean, staffs are friendly helping and the breakfast has plenty of choice for family with children. Will go back again next time in Koh Chang

Good place to stay”

You have to be careful with the room you book because the cheapest ones are old, have drainage problems and some cracks were wild life lives. When we complain about this situation the staff put us is another room and the experience was prety good. The staff was 5 stars and they tried to suit our needs. Kai bae area has many shops, good restaurantes and bars. The beach is a let down because is small and crowded with tourists. But on the plus side the hotel has an amazing pool. The breakfast included in the price is very good and has international and asian food choices. Overall we had a good stay but the hotel needs mantenance. They need to fix older rooms and change broken pool chairs and add newer and more sunshades.

Good BUT please change the swimming pool chairs!”

The resort is well located in the heart of Kai Bae Village. The cheapest rooms are ok. The staff is friendly. However the free breakfast is not great... i went to 7/11 nearby for the 2 last breakfast, this can tell you how weak is the breakfast. Facilities... the swimming pool is GREAT, view on the sea, it could be an amazing swimming pool, BUT please make an extra effort for your guests and change the chairs, the mattresses are a way over used, and i saw 2 people breaking the bed chair just sitting on it... They could get hurt, plus, when you have a nice swimming pool like that it's a shame to leave guests using such old and overused equipment. Hope to see new chairs around the pool next time i come to your resort :)

A good location at lonely beach ”

the coral resort is located on the beachfront and within a short walk to the local shops .It has a swimming pool that is probably better than the beach that is close by .The resort hires out motorcycles that allow you to explore the island at a reasonable cost .There are many bars and places to eat nearby .The rooms are clean and modern and a reasonable size .

Great pool and super poolbar CABANA”

Oké I must say the dekchairs matrasses are in need of renewal! And true there is no beach acces. But oh my God,the pool is great. The garden is nicely tended, the breakfast is included and not the grand luxe but it is certainly good enough as it is included in the price...the breakfast area is right next to the water and enjoyable. The rooms-we had a waterfront bungalow- is nice and clean and private. Clean sheets.. for me the pillow was too stiff and felt like a brick,but thats the only thing I would say is not good. The resort has a private entrance,there is no traffic passing through. I would go there again because of its central but quiet location and the great swimming pool. If you don't like the breakfast you can always go to the German bakery PAPA'S on the main road. If you are a coffee fan this is the place to go. The coffee in Coral Resort is NOT good.

Hotel was in nice location . First night after long bus ride we were tired . About 7 pm they started karaoke in the restaurant. Wife went up , they said normally they don't have karaoke and it would stop at 11 . They moved us to another room away from the noise . Next morning they came and told us we had to move back to the other room or charge us more than double . We moved back . Wasn't that big of a deal , we booked 10 nights stayed 7 and left for another island . Breakfast was good days they had many quests , changed everyday . Staff friendly and helpful . Pool very clean . If I were going back to Ko Chang I d stay there again . For the price it was ok ..

Excellent”

Coral resort is in an excellent location within the town and with beautiful views. Even though out of season, all facilities at the resort were open including the pool and restaurant. The only thing lacking for some would be the lack of a sandy beach at the hotel itself.

Great place and wonderful owners ”

I loved having a room facing the beach, the staff is very nice, the place is clean and well maintained. The cabana is a wonderful place to hang out and the owners are such wonderful people! The food is delicious and the ambiance is worth being in a movie! The pool is large and clean and they have motorcycles for rent. I really loved this place and made wonderful friends there! Thanks for a great time in Koh Chang!🤙🏾

The perfect place for holiday”

We like to come to Coral resort nearly couple year(because our money in our pocket) there are cheaper place and excellent swimming pool and restaurant the problem is we just here for low season so we were stuck in our room for three week but that find we just use wifi there to watch youtube and talk with our friend about how bad luck we were T-T but all good.

great location, very good value ”

My husband and I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the laid back resort that we decided to book our next trip for Christmas. The bungalows are clean and right by the water. Nice size pool. It's the middle ground between the part of Koh Chang that is not too busy/crowded or too isolated. Lots of restaurants, shops within walking distance with very good options.

This is not exactly a beachfront property; the Kai Bae beach is a short walk away. However, the location is beautiful. The sea-front room was basic but okay, the bathroom could have been cleaner, but overall good value for money for a solo, non-fussy traveler. Staff were very nice and efficient.

Beautiful location”

Enjoyed a relaxing 5 days at Coral Resort! Rooms were clean and comfortable and had a great swimming pool. Staff were helpful and could arrange a variety of activities at the hotel - very convenient!! Would stay again. The only downfall was that we couldn't swim in the ocean at the resort due to rocks but the beach was only 5 minute walk away. Resort was very quiet but local restaurants and bars were close by when we felt like more action! Would recommend.
