For a short stay, I'd highly recommend this place. A few minutes walk from Hamamatsu Station. Actually very spacious compared to hostel rooms. Very clean, room had private shower and bathroom. Mini kitchenette area with sink, water boiler, and refrigerator (no stove or microwave). Writing desk/vanity with mirror. Small couch. Elevator access to rooms.

A Place to Stay”
En Hotel Hamamatsu is a place to stay. It was unpretentiously no more than that. I was doing a long distance walk on the Tokaido from Tokyo to Kyoto when I stayed here. It was very modern, clean, and quiet, which was surprising considering it was in downtown Hamamatsu, very close to the station. The bedroom looked new and had lots of places to plug in via USB or standard power outlets. The bed was comfortable and the room/bathroom were clean. Breakfast wasn't included in the reservation and the options in the small restaurant in the front of the hotel didn't have many options. There was no public bathing facility. But neither of the two aforementioned things were listed or expected (though they would have been nice as a weary traveler). So if you need a clean, modern hotel to rest your head (and nothing more), I'd definitely recommend En Hotel

Nice clean hotel, near Hamamatsu station”
We stayed here for 1 night in March 2019. Room was small but adequate for our needs. Ensuite bathroom has all the toiletries we need. Good water pressure and hot/cold water. bath and face towels provided. Clean and comfortable. You can collect coffee/tea sachets from the lobby, just outside the lift. There's an electric kettle, a LCD TV, wardrobe cupboard, writing desk, chair, clothes hangers, sleeping robes, mini fridge in the room. Location is superb, just 3 mins walk from the train station (exit where the tourist info centre is located, walk to the first junction, turn right and the hotel is just a very short walk away.)

This hotel is very clean and close to the train station and I was expecting a great stay after a full day in Hamamatsu... The room was cold and when asked to have the temperature turned up, the night staff did not help at all... The night staff was terrible, unfriendly and seemed put off by having to answer our questions... The morning staff was a lot better so I left without commenting but this could be a great hotel if the staff is trained better...

The staff were great but there was hair in my bed and there was a lot of noise at nighttime due to the thin walls. I would not recommend

-very good location with JR & train station near by. (2-3min by walk only) -easy to shop. with malls/supermarket/ convinence stores all around (2-3 min by walk) - many choices of restaurant (some 24 hr) nearby -affordable price meeting all your basic needs -quick response from staff -bed mattress very comfortable (that i plan to purchase the same brand for my home) - highly recommend for travellers to go to Hamamatsu with tight budget but still would like to enjoy private rooms. The money saving can help me buy more souvenirs & pay an extra night for a luxury hotel for next stop.

Good location, clean room, staff was good”
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good. Worth the money to stay here for one night. One young staff (from Brazil) speaking japanese, was very nice, he came up our room and opened the window for us. However, another staff, a japanese mid-age lady, was a very few japanese that we have met, without a friendly smile, need to improve that.

The whole building smell like cigarette. Initially, I thought it was only the lobby where the smoking room is, but other floor also smells. Air condition is load.
