good location, best value in chow kit”

fast internet, close to monorail station, nice new/clean room

the best value for money in chow kit. stayed here for 4 weeks due to placement at kuala lumpur hospital close by. friendly/helpful staff (reception, management, door-men and security). good facilities in room (fast internet, strong air con, mini fridge, hot water, daily bottled water, tv), pleasant room with good decor. close to monorail station (1 minute walk). we even booked a day short by mistake and they did not charge extra whilst our luggage was stored at the hotel reception good to get room on higher levels (3 and 4) as chow kit can be noisy at night (however that is normal for Kuala Lumpur).

Pleasant place, near local markets and monorail”

2min walking distance from monorail, clean rooms, free wifi

We stayed at Crossroad for 1 night per suggestion from my friend. I usually went for motels/budget hotels at bukit bintang area and I definitely did not regret giving Crossroad a try. Price is very good if you're on a budget. It's half of what I used to pay for hotels in Bukit Bintang. Although it's slightly further, the monorail station is just within 2 min walking distance from the hotel. Room is very clean, the beds are comfortable and what my child loves is the fast wifi which is free. The local market is just behind the hotel, and you can buy many souvenirs, fresh fruits, etc at very reasonable price There's also a 7eleven next to the hotel.

perfect stay”

across station, great service, beautiful rooms

It was perfect, the manager Balan knew it was our honeymoon, so they surprised us with an upgrade to the room, and what it was more important, a beautiful cake and champaign. Always trying to help us to get where we needed. The room was big and new. The area wasnt the best, but still comunicated to get all around Kuala Lumpur (the same if you were in a more expensive area, since the station is across the road, and gets you anywhere). So, to sum up, it was a nice hotel, great stay, pleasent surprises.

New, clean, nice design, very close to monorail”

Closeness to Chow Kit Monorail station, nice staff, very clean

No complaints at all. The hotel is located very close to Chow Kit monorail station and there is a market and food stalls right outside. Chow Kit may not be the most fancy area in KL but as a long-term resident of Bangkok I felt right at home. Staff at Crossroads could not have been nicer, the hotel is new and very clean and with clever and tasteful room design. Well sound-insulated too - I had a room facing the street and monorail and I am a light sleeper but was not disturbed by outside noise at all. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was near to my destination. ”

Room is clean, friendly staff, gave good service.

Me and family really had a great stay, even i had a booking to check in early, the staff was not sure, but they still let me check in. Due to less of sleep and tired of sitting in train for more than 7 hours. Location from hotel to LRT, took 5mins walks. Will come back to Crossroad hotel for my next trip to KL. Room is clean, easy to find food stall in chow kit area. And when u feel hungry, don't have to worry some stall still open at midnight. Family of 3.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and easy access to the KL Rapid Monorail

Our stay at the Crossroads Hotel was a comfortable one. Public transport, monorail and buses, were just a short walk from the hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They taught us that there was a walkway at the Pavillion mall that is linked to the KLCC. It's a great value for your money.

Close to the LRT”

Location, cleanliness, staff

I see that some people have actually run this place down on trip advisor because of the location, our first thoughts were the same. (dodgy little place smack in the middle of Mumbai) let me tell though, you would not get a better location for this money, the LRT was right across the road, the Hotel was clean and the staff were fantastic. At no time did we feel unsafe and when you got to know your way around, you realise it a good location for the money you pay. We looked at other places and actually saw them in our travels through KL and I'm glad we chose here, so it's noisy through out the day and on a big "crossroad"...let me tell you, so is the rest of KL. At night time it was fine.

Good and accessible hotel”

Location, value, and hotel design.

We have heard about this hotel from our friends. We were initially cautious about the quality of this hotel, due to its location in Chow Kit, which in the past was a run down area. And also due to our previous bad experience in staying in some hotels in Malaysia. However, upon arriving in the hotel, we realize that this hotel is an oasis in the Chow Kit area. It is clean, nicely designed, and really close to monorail station. If I returned back to Kuala Lumpur, I would surely stay in this hotel.

Close to public transportation, close to local stalls and clean room

I went to Kuala Lumpur for work. It was my first time staying at this hotel and the experience was nice. I don't have much to complain about because the room was clean and comfortable, the room rate was reasonable and it felt safe. The only thing that disappointed me was the room I got was a room without a window. But if I were to go back to Kuala Lumpur for work, I would definitely consider this hotel in my toplist.

Close to Monorail. Clean and comfortable

we stayed in kl pl for 3 nights and the crossroads hotel was an ideal place to stay as we are travelling backpackers and needed to find a place that we could afford but also still be within a close distance of the main attractions of the city. the area of chow kit doesn't have much to offer but the monorail goes to places like bukit butang in 5-10mins. as a couple we wanted have some privacy and have our own bathroom. this hotel provided this and it was well kept and the beds were really comfortable. the luxury of tv with english speaking channels was a welcomed bound

Great hotel, great location”

Excellent staff, proximity to transit, clean room

First off, this hotel is located SO close to chow kit monorail station. The monorail is the best way to connect to most places in KL and the proximity to transit was the #1 reason I picked this hotel. To arrive at the hotel, take the KL express train (35RM) and get a budget taxi from the counter at the top of the KL sentral station (should be 18RM before 12am). I see that there is a 15RM KL Sentral transfer service but I wasn't able to book it with my booking...)There's a nice little local food market outside the hotel and a few 7/11 if you need some odds and ends (ie. Ice cream, slurpies and water haha). Front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind, even offering to send someone with me if I wanted to go out after dark to get food and felt scared. Breakfast in the am was nice and a great idea if you wanna head out exploring right away. The server mehdi was so kind and friendly. He met me with a smile every morning and made me feel right at home. Breakfast consists of coffee/tea, eggs (fried, omelette, scrambled) watermelon, cereal, bread to toast and orange juice. The room was average, no window but that makes for a better sleep I suppose. Clean bed, tv with movie channels if you need some white noise and reliable wifi. Oh, and air conditioning so when you're having a hot flash, you don't end up dying. The halls were super loud and echo-y when I stayed there, but again, all travellers should bring ear plugs. I enjoyed the close proximity to KL sentral station and bukit nanas station (pentronas twin towers, KLCC Centre etc.) and was super easy getting back to the airport when it was unfortunately time to leave. I'd stay here again :)

Pleasant and Comfortable”

Good Location, Clean Room and Confortable Beds

1. Checking-in: the process was pretty quick; it was done within 5 mins. 2. Good Location: the monorail station was just accross the street; hence travelling around KL was pretty convenient. 3. If you have big luggages, consider the traffic if you are using the cab. Otherwise, try to travel with light luggages as you can use the monorail which heads straight to KL Central. 4. Night Market: chowkit night market is right infront of you once you exit the hotel. 5. Food: if you are not the choosy-type, then this would be the hotel for you. Cheap restaurants and stalls are plenty to be found. The 24-hours convenient store (7-Eleven) is just 30 seconds away. 6. Others: money exchange is just across the street, night life is pretty quiet (avoid walking alone)
