Friebdly welcome, perfect stay for the night before moving on again. 10 mins to the night market. Comfortable bed, hot shower, good AC, fridge and if you can work it out, you can also change the language on the TV to English if there's a Hollywood movie on. They sorted a taxi for us to the airport for 350 bhat, there was three of us so for an extra 50 it's better than taking the bus.

Just near Taksin Hospital, close to the center, clean, light, silent, morning bananas for free. Cons: very little room, narrow (for a couple) hard bed, grumpy (but helpful) manager

About 10 mins walk to the night market, it has 4 floors I believed, with stairs. The room is smaller than i expected it. overall good for one night

Great transit hotel”
Good place to stay as a transit point. Close to the bus station (10 minutes slow walk) . Room is decent for the price and the property is in a quiet soi away from the noise from the main road. 711 is about 20 meters away across the main road. Staff were friendly although English spoken is not too great. 2nd time staying here and no complaints about the property

Disappointing overnight”
A small, slightly seedy hotel that feels like a motel down a slightly seedy soi (small street). The room is definitely not as nice as it looks in the photos. They had sprayed it with an overwhelming amount of air freshener (possibly laundry freshener or otherwise) before I arrived and I couldn't seem to air it out even with the balcony door open and A/C on - very unpleasant. Pillows were terrible, though the bedding and room were very clean. The staff (one surly man at reception from when I arrived at night to when I left the next morning) did book a ferry ticket for me, but was noticeably unwelcoming and didn't even offer to help me with my suitcase up 3 floors of stairs. All about the money, and apparently hospitality isn't included in the room rate. I've stayed at much better places for the same price all around Thailand.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in, in Thailand for the price. Staff are super friendly, room impeccable and there’s also a little balcony. Coffee, toast & bananas available in the morning I’d certainly stay here again when I’m in Suratthani

One of the cheapest places I found and was the best value for money without a doubt. The rooms are completely refurbished and spotless. Also very bright and airy. The location was so good for me as it was a 5 - 10 minute walk from where the bus drops you off and also from where I had to catch the bus the next morning to get to the airport. Super easy and convenient. I only stayed in Surat Thani to catch a morning flight the next day, but if I ever had to stay again then I would pick this place again for sure.

+ quiet, good bed, generally clean, friendly enough staff, coffee, toast and bananas for breakfast -dark side street with no people, rats digging through garbage, napkin with some writing on it found on the floor, partially under bed, no lift if that's a problem, wasn't for me, same with staffs limited english

The best hotel i ever seen in my life”
I travel not only in Thailand, in EU also, but Papangkorn was the best! Everything in room was new, big lcd smart tv, very clean bed, and size of the room was also big. And it is cheap! Hello from Crimea
