We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at D Elegance Hotel. It is a very good place to stay in Gelang Patah if you are visiting Legoland. The staff is very helpful -- thank you so much! The triple room is very nice. The bathroom is huge (but I wonder why there's no shower curtain). The staff gave us a coupon for free coffee or lemonade at the next door patisserie unfortunately we were too busy to avail it. Tea Garden restaurant is in the same complex and we really enjoyed eating there. Actually, there are many restaurants, convenience stores and laundry shops within walking distance to the hotel. Everything is really affordable. I recommend D Elegance Hotel for its cleanliness, safe environment and very accommodating staff.

Convenient location, 10 minutes drive from Legoland”

D'Elegance Hotel's allure for us lies in the fact that it is very near Legoland (a mere 10 minutes drive away) and is attractively situated in the town of Gelang Patah with plenty of food and conveniences around it. The room is very clean, no dirt except for 1 very big reddish stain on our blanket, which almost resembled blood (yucks at first sight). We felt safe in the hotel and walking about. Parking is on the street level with a security guard sitting outside. There are so many multi-cultural eateries surrounding it including at least two 24-hour mamak outlets. There are also 2 polyclinics, a pharmacy, car repair shop, pet shop, hardware store and a minimart within walking distance. We have no problem with noise whatsoever, in fact I heard nothing except my children playing and TV programmes in the background. Downsides of the hotel are: (1) Very rigid policy. Early check-in before 2pm and late check-out after 12pm are both chargeable without exemption. (2) Only 1 free extra pillow, anything more is charged at RM5/ pillow, even though we booked the largest room in the hotel.

Excellent Hotel ”

We had a nice stay at the hotel even if we had late checkout. Hotel Staff were accommodating and even helped me in printing our Legoland Voucher. Will definitely be staying at D Elegance again. Actually, I have booked another overnight stay with D Elegance just a few minutes back :D :D :D

Great Value for money hotel with excellent location”

D Elegance is great for anyone travelling on a budget. Pleasantly surprised that the hotel is comfortable and has all the amenities that parallels a full fledged 3 star hotel despite having a budget concept. The rooms and beds are clean, housekeeping efficient. The location of the hotel is fantastic with lots of 24/7 food outlets and mini-markets to cater for our needs. The well lighted surrounding area is also great as the hotel does not have its own parking and vehicles have to be parked on the public parking lots. There are only 2 flaws to the hotel. 1. Sound insulation is not very good. we could hear noises from adjoining rooms and the vehicles loading/unloading at the ground floor (hotel is a three floors shop lot) and 2. the front desk personnels are pleasant but lacks knowledge to address guests enquiries on JB and its sightseeing areas. Train them to be more informative. Not everyone reads brochures.. Otherwise, good budget hotel..

Awesome”

Simple and clean room. This will be our usual stay when we at Gelang Patah. And recently they have complimentary breakfast. That was awesome, thou it was very simple breakfast. Overall we love this place and for sure we be back again.

A recommended stay around Gelang Patah area. There are mamak stalls near the hotel, so there is no issue for food. The room and clean and neat.

D Elegance is very good hotel. Value for money. Clean and spacious room. Strategic location. Near hotel, is a lot of restaurant, minimarket, and food court (1 minute walk). Well known by Grab/Uber. Will be back there,if go to Johor again :)

Clean room, good location, located at Gelang Patah and very near to Legoland, just 6 km, Sanrio Helllo Kitty town and Puteri Harbour. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Variety restaurant surroundings, free parking and just walk in to Maybank and Hong Leong Bank.

GOOD DEAL”

A good hotel for budget travelers visiting Legoland for a day or two only. However, it was not mentioned in the listing that they require additional fees for Tourist Tax at RM10/night and a cash deposit of RM50. This should be stated online. My husband and I were surprised how nice, neat and excellent the room was for the affordable amount we paid online. The room comes with complete toiletries, water heater, towels (but worn out), electric kettle, coffee, tea, bottled water, and a wall-mounted TV with local channels only. It was raining cats and gods, which may have affected the wifi connection, internet was gone during the day. Although there are local eateries/hawkers nearby (Indian, Chinese, Malay and Thai food options), but the hotel is located in a remote area. Yes, you can save up for the accommodation, but you'll pay higher for your transportation expenses if you prefer malls and modernity in life. Overall, we felt like we got a good deal from Agoda on this listing.

Pros: - Cheap price - Room was clean - Best bang for your buck hotel - Relatively close to Legoland - Surround by quite a few street food stall Cons: - No fridge - That's about it. If you are looking for a quick budget stay from Legoland, highly recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay. - Friendly staff - clean room - good-smelling hallway - has free toiletries, water, tea & coffee - T&B is really good! - so many restaurants nearby. Even gyms, convenience stores, spa and clinic - easily located when we took grab from legoland to hotel For improvement: - speed of free wifi. We keep getting disconnected :) - many power outlets in the room but we weren't able to use them all since they don't have adapters

1. Clean and spacious rooms. 2. Friendly and helpful service staff. Clean towels and toothbrushes provided. 3. Safe area and hotel has 24hrs security guard at the lobby. 4. Good amenities surrounding the hotel area - Awesome dim sum and local food, Pharmacy and 24/7 store nearby. 5. Near Legoland. Will definitely return again with my family. Area for improvement : Can provide a hair blower?

Holiday Stay en Route to Melaka”

Stayed there two nites during school holiday on a Malaysia town hopping agenda. First stop is JB, visiting places of interest in & around JB. The hotel is relatively new & located in a relatively new area in Gelang Patah. Central to those who wants to visit Kukup on a day trip & also Bukit Indah & Legoland. Good value for money, clean rooms & with bare facilities only. No breakfast provided but you can have it at the Tea Garden cafe a few steps away & also at the stalls in the coffee shop in the direction diagonal behind the hotel building.

Excellent hotel for LegoLand”

We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Very clean and price was great. Location was 10mins from LegoLand. Lots of places to eat around the hotel with pharmacy and cash point handy also. Great stay.

Best budget hotel”

90% satisfaction on services provided and location. Expect no housekeeping service to clean your room if you stay more than 1 night. Thus, the 10% dissatisfaction. Overall, the best budget hotel I ever stay. Will choose this hotel again for my next visit to Legoland.

Nice Accomodation”

The location is great because there are eateries, convenient store, and banks nearby. The room is clean and well maintained. My second time stayed at the hotel and will definitely re-visit if I come to Gelang Patah again in future.

What we like about the hotel:- (1) Spacious room which comes with clean, comfortable beds & most basic amenities; (2) Walking distance to lots of eateries; (3) Free (but limited) parking lots for hotel guests right in front of the hotel (4) Friendly & helpful staff; (5) non-smoking policy for all rooms; (6) security system at entrance to hotel during the night What we dislike about the hotel: (a) Hotel is quite a distance from Legoland (about 15 mins drive), though not too far if compared to hotels in JB town. It would be helpful if simple map to Legoland could be provided to guests upon request (especially for guests who have no GPS etc); (b) there was no room service provided on our 2nd day despite our requests made at the reception counter before we left the hotel for Legoland in the morning. There was no "room service please" door tag available; (c) water pressure for rainshower at our room was too low; (d) the window for our "premium family room" is too small and narrow.
