Smart modern hotel with a fantastic restaurant”

It was such a pleasant surprise to stumble across this superb hotel and restaurant in Chanthaburi. We were there for just one night in December, we will certainly be back again. A modern, spacious hotel with a nice pool. It's within walking distance to Robinson department store. The rooms are smart and modern with good quality bed linen. We chose the room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, and it was delightful to enjoy the bubbles in the warm evening air by candle light. The visit to the restaurant for our evening meal was a real surprise. The restaurant manager is charming and speaks excellent English. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every need was met. The Chef deserves special mention. The food that he prepared was absolutely superb. Without doubt, it was one of the best meals that I have enjoyed in the 16 years that I have been visiting Thailand. I rank the food as good as, if not better than, the top restaurants I have dined at in Bangkok and London. The fresh ingredients were cooked to perfection and presented as a work of art. Absolutely delicious food.

New Chanthaburi luxury Hotel ”

We regularly travel to Chanthaburi, although the city is modernizing to some degree, the hotel options was far too limited for international travellers... but no longer.this property is located in a wonderful stretch of the river! The room is very appointed and with COMFORTABLE bedding. Winery bar - another improvement was a small but smart wine bar. Although the wine menu was not extensive for obvious reasons (can't imagine wines being hugely popular here) the quality of the wines on offer were good bearing in mind where you are... however I could not help but noticing the MOUTON ROTHSCHILD as well as some exceptional wine labels but not for dake... I understand these belong to the owner... obviously owners with great taste. .. this hotel should be your only option if you consider travelling to Chanthaburi. .. just consider improving food to international standard that would be my only comment. Well done to the people behind this hotel... I'll be back!

very nice hotel at the river”

I stayed in a room with Jacuzzi on the balcony, and that's really a treat in the evening. You're looking out on trees and the river, it's just nice. The room was very comfortable, very clean, modern, nothing amiss. Food in the restaurant is very good. The breakfast buffet is basic, but has everything (toast, jam, a bit of cereals, fruits, soups, noodles, fried veggies and what else Asian breakfasts have). Only downside for me was the gym. Very small room with cheap old machines, 3 of 5 broken, can't do anything there. Better to not have a gym at all than this one. Chanthaburi doesn't have many (non-Thai) tourists, therefore there's not much English spoken (or even written on the menu) in restaurants etc. in the area. But it's Thailand, still not really a problem to get along. I personally liked the area of the hotel, walked near the river, and very short drives to the malls and cathedral etc.

Exceptional”

Quiet place, polite staff , room is very clean, breakfast is good & price is very reasonable. Only thing to improve upon is the toilet exhaust system which is rather weak, there is some kind of smell overnight. Would suggest to install a higher capacity exhaust fan. For sure will be back to this hotel/resort again in Chanthaburi since our yearly visit to Namtok Phiu

Pleasant stay at Rimnam Klangchan”

Pleasant stay at Rimnam Klangchan. The location is good, facilities are new, room and bed are comfy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Though a bit pricy, still enjoy staying at the hotel.

A comfortable more modern hotel in Chanthaburi”

We felt very comfortable at this hotel with its more modern facilities and available parking (compared to what we saw of others in Chanthaburi, especially in the preferred waterfront area). We liked the strong AC in the room and the large swimming pool. Breakfast dining was also good. Only downside was that the equipment in the small exercise room is limited and in disrepair.

Definitely worth staying here”

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful, particularly with helping us find local places to visit. We had a room with a spa and it was blissful to come back in the evenings and enjoy the spa on the balcony before retiring for the night. The rooms are beautifully appointed with a large and comfortable bed. The cleaning service is fantastic. Food is very good here too - we ordered room service and enjoyed our Thai Fried Rice. Breakfast is served downstairs near the river. It is very pleasant to eat your breakfast accompanied by the sounds of the birds! Do get down to breakfast early however. If you leave it too late there's not much left! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and will be back again if we are ever in Chanthaburi in the future.

Pleasant stay. Breakfast was vary and delicious. Good location, nearby famous restaurants. My family satisfied with this place. The hotel has very nice design and decoration. The room was clean. TV cable with many channels. A/C was good also. Great place for relaxing. Overall, I would come back to this place, if I have a chance to visit Chanthaburi. Recommend for everyone too!

Nice hotel”

Chanthaburi hotel review. Beverages in the restaurant were very slow being delivered. We sat around for for a long time before drinks arrived. Service in the wine bar was good one night and very slow to next. We did get an excellent bottle of Cabernet for about 1300 baht (with our 10% discount coupon). Ordering a plain cheese with fresh tomatoes and basil pizza was painful. The pizza was good for a thin crust (which I like). Bruschetta tasted sweet (probably from sweet mayo). Breakfast was good, but many of the items were out and it seemed to take a while to refill. Good coffee. Room was nice, bathroom was nice. Bed was comfortable. Our room had a microwave, hot pot for water, a medium sized refrigerator, small sink, and plates, bowls, and eating utensils. A few more English stations on the TV would be nice. Overall it was a very nice hotel and we would stay here again, but it is not somewhere I would come to eat, but it is OK if you don’t want to venture out.

This is the best hotel experience I have ever had by far. The hotel is new. Rooms are are clean, beautifully styled and spacious. Awesome shower ! Great breakfast and restaurant. We loved waking up to the river view and quiet surroundings ! I simply cannot say enough about the employees. Everyone from the housekeepers to the front desk were more than friendly, attentive and professional. The manager went above and beyond to make sure the guests needs were met and were happy. With genuine concern he would walk around from morning to night speaking to every guest asking how they were and if they needed anything. This is the first time I have ever been somewhere that actually looked as good as or better than the photos of it online. We left feeling like family instead of guests.

Nice comfy hotel in beautiful setting”

I love this hotel at first sight. The room looks exactly like the photo and even better with breezy wind came through large window that leads you to the balcony. I love to stay outside and enjoy view from huge tree and the river. Chirping sounds of neighbors in the tree morning and evening is refreshing, but if you have trouble with that you might need to avoid. Staff is helpful and quickly respond to any request. Nothing fancy about breakfast but good and enough to get you going. The hotel is a bit off the main track, as it closes to the river, but it has a supermarket nearby and only takes a few minutes to the city, I also drive so it's not really a downside. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for both short and long stay.

Pleasant quiet place”

Not our first stay in Chanthaburi and this hotel beats the others, it's quiet location by the river and beautifully maintained grounds make it a relaxing place to stay. Our room was good size, very clean and well serviced, no problems. For those interested in the gem trade it is close to the action, the area has plenty of good resturants, there is an excellent bar nearby, the only 1 in town, you can't miss it!

Best hotel in Chanthaburi”

there are limited choice of hotel in Chanthaburi although I am certain it will change. best hotel, with a wine Bar.... amazingly you will find some famous French red wine on display , like a Mouton Rothschild... never asked the price, I suspect it was reserved for the hotel owners. however we like the place and visit regularly all the way from Hua Hin!

Comfy, friendly staffs and cleanliness ”

We enjoyed our stay for its offering a nice view, large and comfy bed. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Location is on a river bank and it about 2km walking distance to Chatuchak market. We'll return if we came back to Chanthabury again

Good location, big room and clean. I went Rimnaam during new year. It's ok. Breakfast also ok.

Almost perfect”

Pros: fantastic room. The room itself would be 5 stars. Large and comfortably furnished. Wifi was strong. Right by the river but yet still quite close to town Cons: Pool was not super clean. Check in reception staff could be friendlier. I got the room for under 1800B a night and for this price is great value for money. But this discounted price could be due to some contruction across the river that was noisy during the day.
