Stunning Location”
You need to have GPS to find the place but once you do what a super place. We only used it as a stopover on our way south but what a fantastic find, super views and location. Cant criticise

Relaxing camp size”
Quite resort with nice view, especially the swimming pool. A bit too humid in the tent(room). food is good. Kind staff. Too steep for the way up.

Not for young & old”
Worst: beds so hard, you might as well sleep on the ground. Also, palm rats on the tent roofs. Best: Fabulous view, but greedily optimized. Platforms are on a very steep hill; you practically have to climb to get to the tent. Definitely not for you do kids, elderly, or anyone with mobility issues. State of affairs was acceptable, but things were not clean and new like photos. It convinced us to never try tent hotels again.

Wonderful view but need ”
It's been years that I enjoying spending week ends at this place. Yes there is a fantastic view and you can make some great instagram shot, but there is a few things that could certainely be improved! There is no indication whatsoever to find your tent or the restaurant. If you do not have a good memory you will got lost. The food was terrible, I ordered a pad thai and it was full of sugar. And the breakfast was mediocre, very different from the first time I came 5 years ago. I've been awaken at 6am by the noise. Don't get me wrong, I love the jungle noise. But roosters (ok, why not), car and motorcycle aren't noises that I was expected in the middle of nowhere but hey surprise, there was a road just down my tent! Yaayyyy And finally on the website (and agoda) there is no way to choose the tent you really want. All the tent have different view, some share the terrasse, some not. Some have metal fense, some wooden and more... Unfortunately, I don't think I will go anymore.

The place very standout because of the view. But the tent is super old. It needs maintainence. Staffs are very helpful and supportive.

Best for hide away, very tranquil scene”
Love the view of the long mountain, suitable for the person who wants to quietly stay and need to relax. Nothing to do much should prepare books or music with you. Its great to have time for yourself. - The bed sheet was moist because of a lot of rain.

Good location, not so “boutique” tents”
The tents don’t really look that great like the pictures show. I guess it is the humidity that makes them look mould, but you can also start to smell it. We would also prefer to have a mosquito net over our bed. Friendly staff, ok food. Like all thai “popular” places quite expensive. Very beautiful sunset view.

Nice Hotel alternative”
Very nice view and location in the Jungle. Nice tent set up and comfortable for a camp. Do not expect perfect facilities and service standards but the team is friendly and the place is cool

Beautiful Location and Very Remote”
This is an ideal place to go if you want to relax for several days; I'd highly suggest not booking here if you only have 1 night, as it's not close to any other destination in Thailand and takes a while to get to. It's about 1 1/2 hours from Surat Thani city/airport and 2 1/2 hours from Phuket Airport. You're in the middle of nowhere, which makes the ambiance really serene but also inconvenient to find taxis, conveniences stores, restaurants, etc. - There is a restaurant on-site that is open in the morning and evening, it is your only option to eat within an hour radius. The food was okay, nothing exemplary. The accommodations were very unique and maintained but the staff has extremely limited English compared to 4 other hotels we stayed at during the trip. - If you're going to Cheow Lan Lake/Khao Sok Lake, you do NOT need to pre-book through the hotel, the prices are almost double. You're better off getting a taxi to the lake and choosing a boat/tour there, the options cheaper.

A bit disapointed”
I came to this place maybe 3 years ago with my family and we had such a good time so i decided to come back with my boyfriend for the week end to celebrate a special occasion. We didn't have luck and ride 3 hours under the heavy rain to finally arrive. Far from me the idea to blame the staff for the weather!! But we arrived shaking by cold and nobody gave us at least a towel, just a very fresh drink... good idea when you see your customer completely wet and very cold Then, I've been very surprise that they gave the room we booked to someone else and basically we did not have the choice but spend the week end on separate twin bed! Happy anniversary my love! It's been a difficult fight but finally they accepted to not charge me +3% cause i wanted to pay with my card instead of cash. I mean I have Fu*** twin bed! It's the minimum that they can do Next, they tried to give us a tent with a shared balcony! WTF??? No way! I could see very clearly that the staff was annoyed, but honestly, at that point i didn't care She finally took us to another room, with private balcony, and twin bed .. yaayyy. 3 years ago, the tent I shared with my family was in much better condition. I don't know if they really take care of the tents, but this is what I saw: Holes fixed with adhesive tape, or bad stitching. Zippers to open the tent blocked. Shower head full of lime scale and water barely hot... Well, I guess they can make an effort!! They have a great location, wonderful view... why they do not take care of this great place? Then come the diner and breakfast. Obviously you're not coming for the food! But, yeah.. do not expect a great food at all. To resume, we spent the week end on a tiny bed which is not so much a big deal cause we are always stuck together whatever the size of the bed. We did appreciate the moment and the great view. The only thing I say, it's they should really work on their property which is absolutely awesome and focus a bit more on the customer need

Overhype, not worthy of classifying as boutique hotel. ”
Camp in need of maintenance, soiled and unwashed comforter, smell like dozens of guest used it and not washed once. It was a unpleasant experience, check out the very next day on first light. I won't classify this as a hotel but rather a camp, nothing like the picture shown. This Camp condition is rather dilipilated, better choice elsewhere. Definitely will not be returning any time soon.

Not what was expected”
We are seasoned travelers. Everything from budget to luxury to quirky and different boutique hotels. The hotel had a nice view but there is nothing currently relaxing about it through the renovations. These started after breakfast and went on until dinnertime. People who stay up at the dining area after dinner to socialize can be heard by many of the tents. Breakfast was appalling. Hardly any choice and not very healthy. I had to make a point of asking for fruit to be bought out as an option. The old lady owner is friendly, workers on the renovations are friendly, some other staff are not so friendly. It costs more to do tours booked with this hotel, so book them in town. Tents are all a bit worn and shabby now. Swimming pool out of action. I think if they were honest on their website that there are renovations and swimming pool is not in use we could have at least known and planned to be 'out and about more' or chosen somewhere else to stay.

Semi tent camp ”
It is a camp in the mountains. Great view of mountains. Sound of other guests is very clear and annoying if they are group and not sleeping until 12 midnight or later. Do not expect too much facilities. It is a tent with bed and toilet and shower. The stars is amazing in the night of the sky is clear.

Khun Pam is the best!”
We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are beautiful, it's quiet and a great place for a getaway. The manager Khun Pam is WONDERFUL. She takes care of everything at the hotel. She made sure we were well taken care of and helped with anything we needed. I would seriously go back just because of how lovely she was!
