Great Boutique Hotel retreat”

We had a very enjoyable stay at Dabirahe as a family group of 10 people. We had booked 4 villas which are spacious and with a terrace overlooking the Lembeh strait. Staff was really friendly and helpful. They helped us organize a half day visit to Tengkoko National park. Also we were able to organize a boat trip for both divers and snorkellers right from the jetty below the hotel. thanks a lot Dixon and Dabirahe team!

A room with a postcard view from your balcony”

View of the ocean (with some islands scattered) from your room or from the infinity pool is great. The rooms are big, with sofa, desk, fridge, large balcony with sofa too. Bathroom is large, with some kind of bathtub, shower, outdoor shower. Bath gel was nice, hot water constantly available. Internet was rather fast, and during our stay, there is a blackout but hotel generator instantly took over. The air con, although functioning properly, somewhat not enough for the big room. It's far, even from the nearest city Bitung (20 minutes of going up and down hills). Your only source of food is their restaurant, which, while not bad, not good either. I only spent a day there, and was aware of the situation so I brought food. Dive center and its guides are good. We had a good dive, although Lembeh is not as breath taking as Bunaken. You could also rent a boat and explore, or surf, but they don't provide water sports. The pool is nice, but since the location is semi-cliff, it doesn't have a beach. They also have a spa. So, in summary, due to its location, you just have to relax, swim or dive, or get your self a massage, enjoy the view and read some books... there's nothing outside the hotel.

I was the only guest so it was a little quiet but the friendly staff made up for it. Helpful getting laundry done for me short notice and getting transport organized. The food was so-so! Several things on the menu ‘were empty’! Medium steak was pounded to within an inch of its life as was the fried ‘grill chicken’...but saying that the taste was good. Diving and dive guide were excellent. Amazing critters to be seen and the dive guide was very knowledgeable and had a safety first attitude. I enjoyed my stay and will go back but likely with a few people! 😁

Great diving holiday”

stayed for about 10days and have NO complains. Amazing dive guide with magic eyes that can find 1mm creature from 5m away, plus super friendly staffs which amazed me! If I have to mention only one thing... There was a nice big screen TV in the room, but , unfortunately I couldn't enjoy Indonesian programs. I really wish you had satellite...this is just an idea. (but as long as you have your laptop, WiFi is very smooth) Overall, I just LOVE to go back there.

Lovely hotel with nice service”

Nice hotel to stay! People are caring well in the hotel. But there are nothing around the hotel, so just go there to relax and read books?

I was a traveler, almost every year we always ventured into the country and abroad. To my knowledge every hotel in Asia rarely apply a rigid quota in each room. What I experienced at this hotel is really beyond my expectations. The hotel room 2 quotas should not be any more. If you pass the quota, you will be charged very expensive extra. Incredible! Many five-star hotels in Asia that I have ever stayed, I have never experienced a problem like this. Be careful when you stay at this hotel!

It was a pleasant stay, but not much you can do around the place since it's quite far from POI, just stay and relax.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the food. They need a better kitchen and more sandwiches and stuff. Also more local cuisine
