Value 4 money & Great sleep quality in this hotel”

Locating this hotel was not difficult since it is located outside Exit 6 right above the Kitahama subway station on the pink Sakaisuji Line. This place is a business district so it will be quiet in the evening and on the weekends. The Front Counter is located on the 3rd Floor. Although check-in time is at 2pm, the staff is extremely courteous and helpful in orientating us around on the map. She even upgraded us from a smoking to non-smoking room on a high floor due to a fully booked situation when I booked for my 2 nights stay. The room although small is very clean & equipped with the usual bidet found in majority of Japan's lavatory. The room has a locally controlled aircon as well as an air ionizer to purify the air. The king-size bed we had was comfortable and the quality of sleep is superb. Shower amenities are provided and the water pressure is excellent although the long bath is not a full length tub but it was compensated by its depth. There is a Lawson & 7-11 located just opposite the hotel behind Kitahama Plaza. Check-out was hassle free since the room is booked via Agoda and fully paid upfront, all one has to do is to deposit the electronic card key in the check-out machine. Although there is another subway Yodoyabashi Station which is a 5-minute walk to Daiwa Roynet Hotel from Exit 11, we always chose to start our journey from Kitahama station just beneath the hotel since we have purchased a Weekend/day train pass. This has been the newest hotel we've stayed on this trip.

It is a really friendly hotel”

It is a great 5 days trip with my wife. She booked first two night in a four star hotel. the hotel is good in its facility but people are cold. No help,and no extra service when you ask. I booked Daiwa Roynet because of Agoda customer rating. I totlly aggree with Agoda cusotmer rating after our stay. When we need to book a great michelin restaurant, the four star hotel rejected to help, but the Daiwa Roynet people agree without doubt. Only one issue for this hotle. The breakfast restaurant is too small. Always empity plate or no seat when you want to enjoy the breakfast. You might eat breakfast earlier to prevent the situation.

Perfect for honeymoon”

We had two nights stay with Daiwa Roynet Osaka Kitahama. Frankly speaking this Daiwa roynet chain is by far the best in terms of cleanliness and customer services are on point! Keep up the good work !

Excellent hotel”

The hotel is located well - very friendly staff are on hand to help with using the nearest subway/metro to get around Osaka (although some knowledge of Japanese is recommended) A really nice room, it's small and simple - but everything you need for a comfortable base - with excellent wifi, a very comfortable bed, and a state-of-the-art bathroom, the main standout features. We highly recommend Daiwa Roynet!

SUPERB HOTEL!”

I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel. I stayed 4 nights first, then I left for 3 nights in Kyoto, and came back again to stay here for 2 nights. They provide luggage storage for free. The staff was genuinely help me when I checked in at night (23.00-24.00). Many thanks for Mr, Yahata. You are one of best hotel staff I meet. Location is superb. The downstairs to subway (Kitahama Staion) is only 8 meters from the hotel. One of the important thing about this hotel: you can ride train by Keihan Line to Kyoto directly from Kitahama Station. It is very convenient to travel between Osaka-Kyoto. It is also convenient to travel between this Hotel and Kansai Airport. (Only one transfer at Tengachaya Station). Superb! The beds were comfort and clean. The only thing that should be improved: The Laundry room only provides 3 machines and one of them is broken. I suggest they should provide at least 5 machines.

Great service and good location”

The location is good, kitahama is the middle between umeda and shisabashi It's very convienient to go to Kyoto It's not far away from Kansei airport; you can just take the rapid train to Tengachaya and change the metro to Kitahama; just about 50mins from the airport to the hotel! The service is good too! I will book this hotel next time if I come Osaka again!

1. The place is right above the Kitahama subway station. Take the exit 6 lift and walk about 20 meters to the hotel. 2. Hotel is central but you need to take trains to the main bustling part of town either at Umeda or Namba or to the train stations leading to Kobe/Kyoto or Nara. 3. Staff were friendly and were conversant in basic English. They were generally very helpful. 4. Room was typical of Japanese hotels but had everything we needed which was a warm shower, comfy bed and good air con. Had basic amenities such as a kettle, hair dryer, ironing board Would definitely stay again. Price was extremely reasonable.

A lot easier to wherever you go. Connected to Kitahama Station (Exit No. 6) ”

I think the hotel is the best location to wherever you want to go. As it is directly connected to Exit 6 of Kitahama Station on the Subway Sakaisuji Line. Near Dotonbori, Kuromon Ichiba Market just 5 min. I usually reach there from Kitahama Station to Nippombashi Station (3 stops) . Besides, The front staffs have done us a very impressive service. They are very friendly and helpful, especially Front staff Matsuoka. Whatever I ask she seemed ready to give help to me and made sure I understood everything. Without doubt, I would recommend my friends to stay here. Thank you for memorable moments in Osaka.

Conveniently Located”

Location is excellent. The hotel is located right beside exit 6 of Kitahama subway station which is 10 minutes away from Namba and Umeda. If you plan to go on a day trip to Kyoto, the Kitahama station is also directly linked to the Keihan line and takes approximately an hour. Traveling to and from the airport also takes an hour via the Nankai rapid express train. Just remember to take the interchange in Tengachaya station to Sakaisuji line. Kitahama is station K14.

It was a very comfortable stay”

The hotel is located right next to the Kitahama station, making it just a stone's throw away from all the famous sightseeing spots. Even though the staffs did not possess really good command of English, but they were being very attentive and eager to help as much as they could. The bathroom design is very contemporary and the bed is comfortable. Adding that the price was inexpensive, I would strongly recommend this hotel to those who wish to visit Osaka.

In the middle of everywhere in OSAKA”

spacey room is the best selling point of DAIWA. because of our TANTO car, we had a hard time of finding parking in osaka, most carpark have height limit of 155cm, but this hotel have its own parking which height limit is 200cm, the customer service team are responsible to response all my question about parking & restaurant reservation. Kitahama is in the middle of Nambo & Kita, easy access to move around.

Lovely hotel next to train station”

We stayed here for 6 nights during our Osaka trip during which we made multiple day trips to Kyoto and Nara. This hotel serve as the perfect hub as it is next to Kitahama station, which intersect with Sakisuji and Keihan Line that goes to places like Kyoto and Nara. A shout out to the hotel restaurant for making us feel so welcomed with their exceptional hospitality as well as delicious local delights. I can confidently say that this restaurant beats all the other restaurants we had outside of hotel. Amazing team work and team spirit portrayed by the kitchen and service crews.

Worth money to stay”

This is my second trip to stay in Daiwa roynet hotel group. Compare to money we pay, it worth. Everything is nice including buffet. Nothing co complain about this one. Sure I will stay back for my next Japan trip

Great stay”

The hotel is literally few steps away from Kitahama Station. The buffet breakfast was superb. The room given to us was very big compared with the other hotels we've stayed within Tokyo and Osaka. There is a supermarket across the hotel and a lot food places. We've enjoyed our stay and will definitely book this again if we come back to Osaka.

a nice stay”

location: situated above the kitahama station, really convenient, easy access to sinsaibashi, umeda and even kyoto. staff: really friendly and polite and able to communicate in simple english. room: reasonably sized and really clean but not much option for tv channels but they have video on demand service for 1000 yen per night. breakfast: menu mostly the same but taste fine for the price paid. 1500 yen for adult and 800 for child if booked separately.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Osaka-Kitahama is a business type hotel. The room is consider rather big compare to others in Japan. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Super comfy and clean room. Easy access to train station - Kitahama. Definitely will come back again!!

Nice and cozy”

Was there over the weekend for the Osaka Marathon. Very convenient as it is directly connected to Kitahama Subway station which was our base to jump on trains to go to Universal Studios Japan, the Osaka Aquarium, Dotonbori and to/from the Kansai Airport. But yes, you can go pretty much anywhere with a little walking and the train system. Our room was small, compared to western standards. Two adults and an 11 yr old girl on one queen sized bed. It was cramped but did the trick. Singles or couples won’t have a problem with the standard room like we stayed in. No gym that I know of and that was really my only dislike. Lots of restaurants around. Grocery store across the street and 7-11’s and a Family Mart just a block away. Laundry machines for a fee and Vending machines in the hotel. The staff spoke English. Overall, I’d definitely be happy to stay there again.

Nice hotel”

Just nicely located above Kitahama station - easy access and just nice location for Osaka castle and Aquarium, breakfast was awesome - must have, rooms was quite small but ok, cleanliness on top notch, staffs are very polite and friendly almost everyone - dont expect views or big space, it is just nice max for 2 adult & 2 young kids.
