We had a very pleasant three-night stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Uehonmachi. The hotel is fairly new, the rooms and bathrooms were pristine, and the bed and beddings were very comfortable. Location-wise, there was a supermarket next door and two convenience stores nearby. There was also a Don Quijote less than 5 minutes away by foot. If one needs to shop, the nearby Kintetsu mall, which is three-minute walk from the hotel, has Uniqlo, Muji, and ABC Mart branches, among others. It's not as close to Dotonbori or central Osaka as we would've liked, but it's still just a train station away. The hotel staff were efficient and helpful. There's free wi-fi access in the rooms and in the reception area. The care packages for the ladies were an extra special and thoughtful touch. All in all, our group of six adults, one kid, and one baby thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

One of the best 3 star hotel”

We are very happy that I found this hotel. Very convenient location, everything you need is just a few steps away. 5mins walk from hotel to Metro train station (Tanimachi 9-chome) 3 mins walk to Osaka-Uehonmachi station located in Kintetsu Mall. One of the reason I choose this hotel is bcoz the Limousine bus going to Kansai Intl airport is just few steps from the hotel. The terminal is just infront of Kintetsu mall. Since we have a lot of luggages to carry, it will be hard for us to use train going to the airport ( ¥1,600 fare) In the left side of hotel is a 24hrs supermarket Aeon. Eat your lunch at HiHitown located beside metro station. Have a midnight shopping at Don Quijote (10mins walk), I find it better to buy pasalubong from here than Donki in Namba/Dotonbori as the latter is very crowded and hard to move around and the queue to the cashier is very long. Unlike Uehonmachi Don Quijote, less crowd which you will find more on local customers and whatever you need are also available. Room and bathroom are very clean, receptionists mostly can talk in English and are very accommodating specially Kawami whom is very kind and helped me to find a room in high floor with city view which I always requested in every hotel I've been to. Overall a very satisfying stay and 100% will book again on our next stay in Osaka.

The Daiwa Roynet hotel at Uehommachi Station in Osaka was optimized for me to travel with my son. It was close to Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, Dotonbori, and Namba Station, and it was convenient to use the subway station. And since there is a limousine bus that goes directly to Kansai airport, it was convenient to come from the airport and go back to the airport. Especially, the grill Yamatake, which sells fried Gorges in front of the hotel, was fantastic. The best taste was minchikatsu. Only the minced meat and onions were fried, but the meat was softer and juicy that I could feel the taste the best.

Great location”

Had a pleasant stay at Daiwa Roynet hotel. Subway was very near and convenient. Airport limousine bustop is 5 min away. Plenty of mini marts around the area e.g. family mart and 7 eleven. Don Quijote was a short distance away for late night shopping. Felt a sense of security as hotel building was locked after midnight and key card was needed to access it. Amenities in hotel was just right and sufficient, e.g. electric jug. Free bottled water when opted for no make-up room, which was a cool way to encourage green efforts. Stayed for 9 nights, an awesome stay.

Clean, Quiet, Simple stay”

Every hotel I've stayed in Japan has been small. Our room at Daiwa Roynet Osaka Uehonmachi was no exception. However, it was very clean and quiet! We stayed at 4 different hotels over the course of our vacation, and this was the quietest hotel we stayed in. The hotel staff were also extremely kind and helpful. They had nice pour over coffee and also gave us two face moisturizing face masks.

Cosy room ”

We had a great 5 nights stay at this hotel. Location is good, it's near to Kinetsu (Osaka Uehonmachi) & Tanimachi + Sen-Nimichae Subway Lines! 24 hour supermarket next to the hotel and convenience store across the road. Food is easy as there are many restaurants around. There's a microwave and laundry facilities (400¥ per wash) are provided. We sent our clothes for laundry and went down to collect them slightly later than 2hours, only to find that it has been neatly folded to be collected from the reception on the 2nd floor! So impressed and wonderfully surprised by this gesture. Tip: You get 2 bottles of water if you decline room service per day! Hotel staff speaks limited English but they do try their best.. so it helps if you have a translation device or something ;)

Convenient location and very helpful staff”

My wife and l stayed for 2 nights and we are very impressed with the attitude of the staff, cleanliness of room and excellent location. We had a superior deluxe room on the top floor. It was a very good size room and we are very happy to have chosen Daiwa Roynet Osaka-Uehommachi.

Exceptional”

The location is only few minutes away from kintetsu line uehonmachi train station and airport limousine bus pool. There are some mini market around the hotel and drug store as well.the room is quite spacious compared to another hotel with same price range and clean. The staffs speak English fluently ,great attitudes and they are very helpful. Will back to this hotel when I visit Osaka again for sure :)

The hotel is located nearby with the subway or Kintetsu railway station, just 3 min walk. The convenient shops are nearby, such as Kintetsu shopping mall, Family Mart, drug shops etc. The reception front desk staffs are professional, helpful and willing to assist, able to speak English. Daiwa Røynet Hotel Osaka-Uehonmachi is at a good location, where 3 mins walk to the airport limousine stop. There is a 24 hours supermarket next by. Transportation to other area can be done by metro. Only area may require improvement, would be the cleanliness of the room. Other than that, nice and helpful staffs.

Great stay!”

Daiwa Roynet Hotel is near the subway station. But there is also a direct bus service from the airport to Sheraton Hotel which is about 5 min walk from Daiwa Roynet. The staffs are friendly and speak good english. You can order set breakfast at affortable price. The room is small but clean and comfortable. We are surprised the toilet is able to fit a bath tub which is pretty helpful after a long day walk around the city. There are convenient stores and shopping malls near by. Overall, a wonderful stay.

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!”

The hotel was so near to the subway station and you definitely can't pick any fault from them for the price you pay. The strategic location was definitely a super plus plus point here. The staffs were attentive and helpful. There were many restaurants or otherwise GOOD FOOD all around the hotel, not forgetting the kintetsu departmental store just located right opposite the hotel. There's an Aeon Supermarket right next to it as well. Will definitely pick this hotel again for my next Osaka stay.

New hotel near train station”

It's about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway/JR line, although it's across the Kintetsu terminal so if you're going to Nagoya or any other places served by those railways, then this is a good hotel for you. There's a 24-hr supermarket next door, and for last minute souvenirs, there's a Donki about 10-minutes away. The hotel is very clean and looks quite new. The lobby is on the second floor, there are washer/dryers on the 7th, and vending machines inside the hotel. Dotombori and Namba is only one stop over. Also, the room didn't smell strongly of smoke even though we booked a smoking room, and there's an air purifier in the amenities. Would definitely recommend it should you find yourself in Osaka.

Daiwa Never Disappoints”

This was the usual good Daiwa Roynet service and accommodation. I have stayed at a few throughout Japan and they never disappoint. All around a good experience. I will always keep this as an option for a stay!

Tranquil yet in the hub of things”

Upon arrival, I was given a free upgrade to a 'ladies' room, which was so comfortable. The hotel staff are very professional but friendly. In terms of location, the hotel is well-situated for access from the airport and site-seeing. It's also very secure and on a main road with a good variety of local and international restaurants within a short distance. The area is busy and there's a train station less than half a mile down the road, which makes travelling very easy. Despite the city surroundings, the hotel is extremely tranquil and you're guaranteed a fantastic night's sleep! This hotel will be my first choice on my next trip to Osaka.

Fantastic Local Hotel”

Our family enjoyed staying at this hotel. Although the room we were in was small, the attention to detail provided was very good. The hotel was very easy to get to from the Kansai Airport via Limo Bus route #7 and was very close to the subway with various lines to get you anywhere in Osaka. Lots of places to shop and eat nearby. The staff at reception was exceptional as well as they helped with organise transport for our luggage to the next destination and even refunded money as I was accidently charged too much. Overall we loved staying at this hotel, as it was away from the more touristy sites but very close to get too and the staff and service was fantastic.

The staff at the front desk are very kind and nice! They helped us to book a restaurant that can only make reservation by Telephone (We need them to call because we don't have the Japan Telephone number) They helped us call several times and successfully make the reservation. also the room is big compared with normal hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is beyond Good !!!! I would recommend you guys to try the morning breakfast of the hotel restaurant ! So cheap and delicious :)) Really impressed of this hotel ! Love Osaka !

Excellent place”

This hotel was in a very ideal location/area in Osaka as the airport limousine bus stop was less than 300m away. A Kintetsu line station is across the street and there is also a Don Quijote nearby. Below the restaurant there is a very good teishoku restaurant. There are also numerous groceries and drug stores nearby. Hotel itself is very clean and neat. Room we stayed in even had a massage chair inside. Staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

It's great time to stay at Daiwa Roynet. The room is very very clean. Just walk a couple minute to subway station. Near Family Mart, Lawson and Seven Eleven. And also Yoshinoya Restaurant.
