great location, view and pricing”

Dayang bay is a serviced apartment - it has a great view of the sea and nice big pool for family with kids. Lobby is spacious and airy. Location in Kuah is centralized and nearby to Langkawi Parade Mall (4 mins away) where you can get duty free chocs and liquor. There's a 7e nearby as well but limited restaurants around the area. the rooms do not have bottled water but filtered water is provided in the hall way and no room service available. However, you may order from the restaurant downstairs which serves Arabic/northern Indian food and they will have it delivered to your room. Room/ bathroom was clean but no toothbrush/shaver provided. Breakfast buffet wasn't great at all , not many variety and main dishes to choose from. Overall an OK and satisfying experience; clean and great view.

Wonderful family of four's 2 nights stay at Dayang Bay Hotel”

We reserved a sea view one bedroom apartment and we totally enjoyed our stay 4 days 3 nights stay at Dayang Bay Hotel. The range of equipment made available to guests in the apartment is good and functional. Bedroom, hotel in general and swimming pools are clean and inviting. We appreciate the summer kitchen on the balcony and the large swimming pool. There are also a smaller ladies only pool and a pool for children. The only place where improvement may need a bit is the breakfast place: Decoration could possibly be improved; coffee, range of fruit juice and range of fresh fruits can be improved. Despite saying this, the overall quality of the hotel's services is good. It is located very close to Langkawi largest shopping mall which can be reached by a short walk. We can get a Grab taxi within minutes to anywhere on the island. I have already recommended this hotel to family members.

Good Hotel but not flexible and not tourist friendly. ”

The waiting staff and general workers at the hotel are good and courteous. Our flight on the 28th got delayed (instead of 2.00pm departure it got delayed 9.00pm) we asked for a late check out till 5pm). The front of house staff refused and said their hotel policy is checkout at 12.00pm and offered till 1.00pm. And finally asked for late checkout till 3.00 pm and they wanted to charge us RM 50 an hour for each room, which we found it to be ridiculous. We checked out at 12.00pm and booked into another hotel from 1.00pm to 6.00pm. We stayed for 2 nights at Dayang Bay Resort, we check in late afternoon, and a simple courtesy during these challenging times is the least they could have been kind in extending to their guests. However the food for breakfast was good and the welcome dinner offered to us was also good.

Accidentally booked hotel but luv it eventually”

I happen to book another hotel but was cancelled by the property at the last minute. Just follow the preferred hotel recommended by Agoda and Dayang bay came into the picture. The location a bit secluded although not too far from Kuah. Got two 24/7 convenience store nearby. Very spacious room to accommodate 5 of us. Cooking utensils,fridge provided. Kids room,muslimah pool, ping-pong table, foosball.soo many things u can do to accommodate Ur time. Breakfast buffet are satisfactory. I will come again nxt time

Excellent”

I had gone with my family (two daughters) and i felt very much at home. The place is well located close to all major shoppings and eateries. Beautiful view from the sea facing rooms. The rooms were well maintained and the swimming pool is not be missed there. This is my 2nd trip to Langkawi because i liked the island very much. If go the 3rd time then it will be to experience Dayang Bay once again. One thing to be mentioned the housing keeping is a bit slow in responding but will sort the issues and no room service available. Free breakfast is lavish. Cheers. I love the place. Very ideal for family and friends.

What a perfect beach resort should look like”

I had the opportunity of traveling with my parents to this beautiful and gorgeous property by the Dayang Bay. The location of the resort is a bit off, however easily tracked by cabbies. The resort is big, clean pool, great ambience, superb check in facilities, great rooms and an even more beautiful view. We upgraded to a sea view room, almost instantly upon seeing the entry itself. This place is a great value for money, with an elaborate and good spread for your morning hunger pangs. Do take a walk along the beautiful waterfront , another realm of serenity.

Great stay at Dayang Bay”

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for three nights. Room was spacious and clean. Room had 3 attached bathrooms and a balcony for dining. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned on time. Great swimming pool with a view of the bay. Breakfast was good too. Kuah town is only a ten minutes drive away. Had a wonderful stay at Dayang Bay.

dayang bay is a very nice hotel i really enjoyed my stay and the staff were friendly. when arriving, the hotel had confused our reservations and in turn presented a free upgrade because of the confusion, that shows great customer service! there is a bit of construction going on so it can get noisy around noon. they have 3 separate pools one in which is kid friendly with slides. the breakfast was filling and delicious. it is very welcoming to families so if you are traveling solo or as a couple the large amount of children can get annoying. the staff were amazing, the total design and structure of the hotel is great. rooms are spacious and very clean! i would suggest the hotel upgrade the wifi situation. i am excited to see the hotel upon completion. i would recommend it!

Value for money”

Stayed here one year ago and I was pleasantly surprised that it is well maintained. The pool was cleaner than our last trip and the rooms and toilets were still in good condition except for stains on the wall and sofas which can do with some cleaning. Also like that a "gate" that has been built in to allow for privacy and security when you book 2 rooms suite which is effectively 2 separate units side by side. Breakfast was ok in terms of taste but spread and food presentation could be improved. Service level was acceptable. We were given our rooms despite being one hour earlier than check in time. Check in and check out process was prompt and staff was courteous throughout our stay. Overall, we were not expecting the facilities and service of a high end hotel and just wanted a decent place to stay. We had a good time in Langkawi was happy with our overall experience in Dayang Bay.

I feel the Dayang Bay hotel was value for money . The other reviewers were right about the rooms ( great view and lots of space) and the breakfast ( noting great, but at least none of us got sick). I found the staff to be really nice and friendly. The reception, Housekeeping , and the waiters/Chef at the poolside bar tried really really hard to communicate and help us. The spa was value for money . Yes, the pool should be cleaned ( the water really is murky ) and the sheets have old stains. But I plan to return!

Dayang Bay is situated in nearby Kuah Town. The hotel itself is very well maintained. Huge pools and decent breakfast. The only downside for this hotel is there is no restaurant nearby hotel.. No iron provided (only ironing room).

A happy vacation stay”

Had my stay for 5days with my whole family..we had a great time with the infinite pool view, lobby was nice, breakfast was okay and the staffs was very very helpful..even helped me to replaced the mini fridge cos it wasn't cold..the view from the hotel was nice but location is just alil bit off from alot of attractions like the cable car , shopping centers and the Cenang beach.. overall we had a good time resting our stay in Langkawi and our stay at Dayang Resort

Nice place”

We only stayed 2 nights but we liked our stay in dayang bay. Only thing was the swimming pool was under renovation that time so we weren't able to enjoy much of that. The staff helped us find transport to get around the island as we didnt exactly know what to do or where to go in langkawi.

Value for money in good location with fantastic facilities”

Stayed here four nights in the 2 bedroom apartment (6 people) comprising 2 rooms right next to each other (not connecting). One room had king bed and double sofa bed (2 bathrooms and 2 showers) and other room had twin bed with its own toilet/bathroom. While the room is pretty basis, everything else made up for it. Pool was amazing (kids love it) - big and infinity and free snooker and ping pong to play with. Staff friendly and buffet breakfast is just ok but location in Kuah worked for us. 20 minutes to the airport, 30 mins to Cable car and 20 minutes to jetty for mangrove tour. seven eleven and 2 other mini marts right opposite and Langkawi Saga shopping centre right outside. Would stay again if we ever came back to Langkawi.

The location is very good and recommend to go for sea view rooms to enjoy the fantastic view!A Shopping mall is 5 minutes walk from the resort. Swimming pool is fine to enjoy with small children. Room was decently clean and we were fully satisfied for choosing Dayang Bay.

Me n family had a good stay here..my son enjoyed the pool so much..i just love the view from the room..so cool and clam..we will definately choose dayang bay for our next visit to Langkawi.. thumps up.

Relaxing, clean, sufficient ”

Dayang Bay was great for the paid value. We paid about $60 per night. The place seems to be new so a lot of the stores within the hotel are empty. The pool had slides and seesaws which are crazy fun. However, there's is no beach,,just a pile of sand (about 20 ft long) made to mimic a beach. The closest beach is 30 minutes drive away. In order to use internet, you must grab a slip from the front desk that will give you the login and password,, each skip may be used for up to 5 hours. There is free water available by the pool,, it will be the most delicious water you drink because you will be so hot and sweaty all the time. Overall, a satisfying stay in Langkaei.

My first trip to Langkawi. ”

Dayang Bay, Front counter receptionists are friendly and helpful. 20 mins drive from airport. Parking is free. Surroundings accessible to shops and restaurants. 10mins to jetty where there's more shops and restaurants. Sea View is nice from room 613 for sun rise which is my stay.

A Hotel Made for Families”

Very happy with our stay at Dayang Bay. There are teething issues but considering it was the packed Raya holidays, they managed the place very well with understaffed team. Breakfast was slightly above average but our last day was quite frantic since the hotel was fully booked. What we loved most about the hotel are the cosy large rooms, gigantic pool with a very nice kids pool and the overall sense of comfort surrounding the hotel.
