          very disappointed with the staff”
my stay was only for a couple of hours since I had to travel to cotabato. When I arrived at the property their lights was busted and it was really dark. I did not complain because the fan is still working and I have always been staying with them because of the convenience of the location. I left the property around 3am. it was still dark because the lights were not repaired and there was heavy raining outside. When I was on the bus early morning I received a text from the front desk that my ID was left. it was MY ONLY ID and I offered to send money so SHE CAN SHIP because I am now bound to Cotabato. SHE SAID SHE CAN'T BECAUSE SHE IS BUSY. COME TO THINK OF IT, ITS HER FAULT BECAUSE SHE MISSED TO GIVE IT BACK BECAUSE SHE SAID IT WAS DARK. I was very understanding and nice to her yet she still refused. I even planned to give in extra money for her effort. to think, LBC is nearby. she said she really can't and I just have to dropby next time when I am in Davao. HOW INCONSIDERATE!!!

This place is cheap, near to almost anything so don't expect too much. We did enjoy our stay”
For something this cheap, they do provide towel, soap. Has hot water. They clean the room everyday with your permission. Room has enough room for your baggage. Spacious. Free WiFi is good. Near to almost everything. Reception & security guard are nice. Wish they have something to put clothes and soap holder in the bathroom. Since our room had a table, a chair would be nice and maybe something we can hang our bags (nail or something) Overall, I really like the place. Would stay there again if ever I go back to Davao

If you're only in need of a place to sleep and absolutely nothing else”
Don't expect comfort. Did not feel comfortable at all with the stained sheets, had sheets replaced which still had some dried boogers!? Cockroaches also present. No proper ventilation in the room, the bathroom is technically in the room itself with no proper ventilation. Imagine pooping inside an airconditioned room or taking a bath with the AC turned on. Did not feel secure with just the doorknob lock since the 2nd lock was broken. Rust and dust everywhere. Would not recommend. You can find something way better with the same cheap price. Only the location was good since it was near the cityhall, parks, and museums.

The hotel is centrally located, accessible to public transportation, friendly staff and affordable
It was very accessible to public transport, the staff were very friendly , helpful, communicative and accommodating. They were always ready to be of service. They were also fast service people. The room was clean and comfortable, and well lit with a nice interior. Amenities were there but not much. The bathrooms were comfortable and very clean. Room makeup was up-to-date,and regular.

The comfort room is not clean and there are spider webs on the roof. The aircon is dusty thats why it triggered our allergy (sinusitis, runny nose). Anyway I have just booked it online so really didn’t see things in person.Nice price but felt it’s not worth it.

Cockroaches is not really a factor for me. I’ve seen worst. What my issue is the noisy air conditioning unit. I have to plug in ear phones to sleep. I now know other inns and hostels in downtown area with same rates who have better rooms.

Cheap place to stay. Room: Plenty of cockroaches. Some even crawl on the bed. Bathroom drain doesn't work properly. Ratty, moth-eaten towels. Thin blanket. Wifi works badly. Aircon works but is old and quite noisy. They don't clean your room after each night. Only after you check out. Oh, the bathroom door locks from the outside. Location: Near the red light district. Walking distance to people's park. 8 mins away from 7/11. Not very near from city center. Staff: Accommodating enough. Overall rating: 3/10

          Awful Place”
I had to carry my heavy luggage to the second floor as their receiving area was on the second floor. The security guard didn't bother to assist nor their staff. When handing the room key, they will recite to you their policies, one of which is "You will be charged 200.00 for soiled blankets." Ironically, their soiled and worn out blankets looked like they were never replaced when the previous room occupants checked out.

The cable TV is local, useless. The stairs are not for senior citizens, very steep. ”
There is no hot/cold water or is not working. The lavatory is raised 18 inches from the floor. The mattress is old, the bed sheets are thin and worn out. This is a fire trap. There is no room lock, the door knob can be opened easily. The lights are glaring, no night lamp, very dark when the lights are off.

Price was definitely too cheap though. Staff were not as responsive and hospitable. The common toilet and showers are dirty. They should have a staff on standby to clean the area. Location and price wise, it's good. But cleanliness and friendliness of staff, not so good.

I booked this place for my friends. I even sent a message to daylight inn that i am not going to be with my friends however, the booking was placed under my name. I asked them if my friends need to bring anything aside from he booking confirmation. They did not reply. When my friends arrived in the place, showing the booking confirmation wasnt enough that they asked for a copy of my ID. We complied. I went online amd sent a copy. We booked the place for two separate days. Oct 24 and 26 bec my friends planned to go to Samal Island in between. Oct 26 came and when they were about to check in, they were asked for a hard copy of the booking confirmation. I mean wtf! Why does it have to be this hassle n stressful? If the booking confirmation is not enough, pls post ur requirements in the website.

All good, hot whag i expected, for 300 peso a night, you get a room with a bed, small sink, and doubke bed. Works well for me as i got use to the heat, id say if your use to the heat it might be worth paying the 60 peso and get a room with aircon. Stayed in this jotel before, and will stay here again, because its just so conveniently located in San Pedro area for lots shopping and things to see. Main jeep routes right outside. 7 -11 shop just up the road, for great fresh ground coffèe.

          Good hotel”
ok so rooms start at 250 or 300 peso for double room with just a fan. That's all you get in respect of the room, a towel. No decent window view, no shower in room, no tv, no kettle etc. It is cheap and that's what I'd expect fro central hotel at this price. Room with a bed in basically. Even if you upgrade to 600 peso you'll get the same room, with shower and aircon. Personally I liked the cheaper room, and use the shared shower and toilet rooms. Internet was has it's moments of go slows, and ok'ish at other times. Anyway the main reason I like this hotel is it's location. Smack in the middle of San Pedro. Ideal for shopping, parks, city hall etc. If not for the location i wouldn't of stayed here. But for location, and cheap with ok to middle room standards it represents good value.
