De Balqis Beach Resorts is a small family manage resort. to me is a great place if you are looking for peace and quiet as you can have the beach all by yourself, no one will bother you at all. It has all the basics that you need. BF you can go to Roti Canei Power, Lunch you can go to Restaurant Anak Kasih Mama and if you are there on a Friday night, do plan your dinner at the night market. There a good convenience store name D Tanjung Rhu Supermarket near the roundabout on your way to the resort. It has a beachfront and next to it have a local store selling coconut drink and local food in the evening. If you continue to walk it will reach Four Season Hotel. You can talk a slow walk during sunset, is beautiful. If you want to chill here, do bring your own drink, we hangout each night until pass 12 midnight. Do rent a car, as is it a bit far from the town and all the attractions. So if you want PEACE and Super Quiet, you got it.

Beautiful quiet yet strategic place with such lovely owners. Needed a birthday cake - Provided the cake in no time. Thank you 🙏🏻 Saw that we had kids and even offered extra mattresses without asking. A steal”

The property is a small strip of chalets on the road to the Four Seasons on Tanjung Rhu. If you're looking for a remote getaway with all the necessary amenities, you've found your spot. The beach is right outside your door -- clean, private and with stunning views. The owner was terrifically responsive via text, although his English is a bit limited. Our chalet was perfect: The AC and WiFi worked beautifully, tea and coffee were provided, and the bathroom was spotless. The one thing to know is that it's a bit far from the main drag of Cenang, and finding food late at night can be a bit of a struggle. But it was very accessible via Grab when we visited in mid-May, Ramadan notwithstanding. Overall, would absolutely come back for another getaway.

Exceptional”

Everything was perfect. The beach is connected to Four Season 5 star resort. Kids were playing on sand beach in front of my eyes while I’m in my room terrace. The stuff was lovely and supportive. I’ll definitely go there again if I’m in langkawi.

The right place and right on the beach”

We had no difficulties checking in and the owners were kind. The room was very clean, A/C, Fridge and WIFI all worked very well. The views off the porch are amazing and you walk off the porch onto the beach. A bit of noise from the road at certain times in the day but that was the only negative part. Will be back with my wife and sooner than later! Great Stay on Langkawi!

The best at the beach on Langkawi ”

This is one of the best facilities on a beach anywhere in the world. We continue to return here again and again as the check in fast and the key is waiting for us. The view each morning is what keeps us smiling the whole time we are there. The owners and staff are open and willing to please if there are needs. We shall continue to return again and again when on Langkawi.

Incredible location. Great Hospitality”

Beautiful, large, clean cabins right on the beach. Quiet beach away from the activity on Chenang. Great swimming and beach walking. No restaurant on site, but there is a little Fish N Chip place 2 minutes walk with western and Malaysain food. A little farther up the road is a great local restaurant with excellent, affordable local food. The owners at DeBalquis were very hospitable, and treated us more like family than hotel guests. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet beach chalet with a local vibe.

Great away from tourist towns on Langkawi”

Beach at your door step”

Beautiful and very clean chalet. Friendly and helpful owner. Room facilities like 5 star hotel; mini fridge, tv with astro, iron, bathtub. Beach at doorstep. You can here the waves while you are in your room. Spectacular beach and view. Quiet and private area. Highly recommended.

Exceptional”

It’s a great location on the beach. You can here the water from your room. Wonderful place to grab drinks just a couple 100 meters from bungalows. The area in front of the rooms by the foliage on the beach and the area directly behind the rooms where parking is had a fair amount of trash on the ground and could be cleaner but other than that I would recommend.

5 star ”

In simple words, you'll get a luxury beachfront resort view with a 3 star price..... super clean and kind lady owner allow us to check in early morning. I will come again and again with my family and friends. A best place to organize party and wedding too

The view is superb but the facilities are only sub-par”

As advertised, the hotel is facing the beach and the view is spectacular. However, the facilities within the room are at most can be described as sub-par. The air-conditioning in the room is really low power and it took quite a while to cool the whole room. I encountered some difficulties while checking in the room cause there are no front desk for this property, and even worse it's quite hard to get a hold of the property owners through phone call for some reason. Overall if the cons I mentioned above were fixed, I wouldn't shed a thought from giving this a 5 stars

Simple and basic room”

Short stay here for a race held at Tanjung Rhu beach. Closest place to stay to race site but don't expect much otherwise. On the plus side, we like that the room is clean and cosy, shower is nice with ample hot water, clean towels provided. On the down side, the walls are so NOT soundproof that it was quite noisy at night due to the room being just beside the main road. Convenience shop is about 1km away, at times could be hard to get a grab. Not much to eat (that is decent) within short walking distance.

Beautiful Chalets”

Its a 30mins drive from Pantai Cenang to the hotel. We were a little shocked when we arrived there before check in time, as there is no reception, just 3 chalets on the beach. But they are expanding their property. So hopefully, things will get better in future. The chalets are done really beautifully with beautiful bathroom and your own porch. But if love to explore ,this may not be your place. Nothing much to do here and food is the real problem here. Only one restaurant near this hotel stays open till 11pm but basically fish and chips. Beach is better than Cenang beach but food availability is the problem here. Bring your snacks with you coz you are not gonna get anything here.

Best Chalet”

Really great chalet with a seaview. Room is clean. Easy check in and check out. You can enjoy the beach and not many people here so you can have peace vacation. Not near any restaurant for food but Owner provide delivery for food and have couple of standard restaurant menu inside the drawer. For those looking for peace of mind and away from crowded places, this is the best place. Also, there is a bathtub inside.

Serene place with stunning sea view”

We stayed at triple chalet and it was well worth it. I would specially like to mention and thank Mr. Din and his family for their great hospitality. They were always available and attentive to whatever we needed, we even needed to ask for a needle and thread and they provided :). When we needed to go nearby market to get food, he himself drove us to the market when he could and on other times he offered us to use their bike for no charge. They offered us an excellent boat tour (mangrove and islands) and it was great fun. They even came to see us off when we left. As for the accomodation, the challet was quite spacious for a couple, just right for a couple and 1 kid and a bit cramped for more (there is 1 double bed, 1 single bed and space to put an extra mattress). Bathroom was well equipped with good water pressure and warm water always available. Chalet has amazing views and you are on the beach just jumping off your door. Most of the time the beach is all to yourself like a private

Very nice location facing beach. calm and suitable place to relax compared to Cenang Beach. Suitable for kids to play around The only downside is not many foodstall around. Need to order before 8pm or rent a bike/car to move around Overall, will surely come back and recommend to others

Exceptional”

love the location. the chalet was right in front of the beach. perfect for those who love the sea... there are plenty food stall around the area if u have rental car. lots of stall for breakfast so no worries. Room is complete with basic amenities and they even have a bath tub. They dont do room service in case u r wondering..

Private beach”

Recommended if only you book all three houses for yourselves. Need to Rent a car. Very Clean rooms. Not soundproof. You get what you pay for. Don’t expect too much. Very Basic. If you would like a feel of Four Seasons Langkawi “private beach view”, this is the budget version.
