Definitely worth the stay! ”

+ The staffs are friendly. + Housekeeping is quick. + Size of the room is okay. + Very clean. + Have swimming pool and it's quite clean. + Located at Railay East that has many convenience stores and restaurants around (somehow Railay West is more happening) + Is very near to Diamond Cave. - No umbrella is provided during rainy days. - Safe box is not provided (but I think you don't really need it though) Keep it up! Will definitely come back next time!

Nice hotel, it seems to have had bad press”

I really enjoyed my stay at Diamond Cave Resort. The restaurant and staff were brilliant. I had read bad reviews about the place but in my opinion it was good. It is 10 minute walk from the lovely West Railay beach and 20 mins from Phranang Beach. The atmosphere here is lovely, and you must pop down to The Last Bar for the fire show.

Very nice stay”

First off, I will say that my wife and I fully enjoyed our time at Diamond Cave Resort, and feel that some of the previous reviews when we were searching painted a bad picture that was not indicative of our experience. If you are expecting a luxury 5 star hotel, this is not that. But when considering cost compared to others, we felt this was a great value and there was nothing that hindered our experience. First off, there were many bad reviews about the wifi, and people that said in the past it only worked in the lobby. Clearly this has been addressed by the hotel and it is not a problem any more. The wifi worked great for us the entire time in the room. The rooms themselves were very clean, and the air conditioner unit was the nicest and quietest one I've encountered in my 3 months of Thai travel. The breakfast was very good. The staff was all very nice. And the huge cliff is absolutely beautiful to behold from the rooms and pool.

Quite ok contra to some negatywne reviews”

We enjoyed the stay at Diamond Cave in spite of some adverse reviews. We had no problems with staff. They were not the kindest ones yet they were helpful and accessible. The room was clean in general though we found some dust on upper shelves and a dead thai-size bug under the chair. The breakfast was fantastic - nothing to complain about. Ac and fan worked well. Bathroom needs some renovation . WIfi is quite dissapointing - some restaurants around have better speed. In general DC offers good value to money.

Loved it”

Beautiful pool by the Beautiful Cliff where the Diamond Cave is. Ended up swimming with monkeys around 4 PM... very magical moment!! Room is nice and clean, we had a view of the little fountains in the garden and it was beautiful. I would definitely go back.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. View on a beautiful cave, nice pool and helpfull stuff. Much better than I expected after reading reviews. (it is not a 5 star so if you expect luxury you have to pay more) Fan was working, could be noisy for somebody but I gor earplugs. Comfortable bed soft enough, clean room, easy acces to everything. Thank you. I would stay again

One of the Best Hotels”

Reading some of the online reviews about this place, we were a little sceptical when we got there. But the place is nothing like it, It’s very close the beach and provides the best value for your money. Rooms are neat and clean, when the Hot shower in our room wasn’t working they upgraded us to a bigger room with a Bath tub! Highly recommend this place to people visiting Railay beach

Brilliant staff, great location, tidy rooms!”

Restaurant attached to resort done delicious food and buffet breakfast which caters for everyone, staff were very helpful and arranged a tour for us which was cheap and so easy, the room we stayed in was beautiful and so clean, it's a 5 minute walk to railay beach and is so peaceful in the night time. We loved it here!

Good value for money”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel end of November 2016. We found the location of this hotel very well, because Railay is not that big, so it is not neccessary to book some expensive hotel on West beach because from East side you are on west side for less than 15 minutes. The garden of this hotel is very nice, the room service (cleaning and towels change) is possible if you request it on hotel reception (if you leave your key). It is possible to pay for breakfast - we did it for one day and it was OK. In general, this hotel is good choice considering that on beautiful Railay you will have much more activities outside of hotel room. :)

We booked this place as a second to the expensive place we were staying at. Unexpectedly, we had to say another night in Railay because I got food poisoning and was sick as a dog. Our place was already booked so we picked Diamond because it was a more reasonable price area nd only 5imites away. All in all, I’d recommend this perfect c

Good Mid Range Option”

This was my second stay at Diamond Cave Resort. Last time I stayed in the "budget"bungalows and was not impressed. This time we upgraded to a room with a balcony and were quite content. The room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony overlooking the grounds and beautiful limestone mountains. A very good mid range option on Railay.

Good location, nice room and beautiful clean swimming pool. 5 minutes walk from walking street and East beach pier. 10min max to west beach. Good cheaper option to staying at the more expensive hotels on West Railay beach.

Excellent Accommodation and good value.”

After booking this room on agoda, I then read the reviews which were all very negative which was a little concerning, so we went ahead to give it a go and I'm glad we did the room was functional bed shower and air-con, very clean and excellent staff, pool is lovely and the right price so we stayed a further 3 more night.

Stunning garden view”

I booked a deluxe room, had an enormous bed and lovely balcony facing the beautiful gardens and cliff face... it was wow factor stuff and a pleasure to see in the morning. The staff are relaxed, nice and as helpful as they could be. It's easy to get around, plenty of bars and restaurants and just to relax. The resort is on the east coast and you arrive on the west, it was easy to find as signposted but I'm glad I didn't have a huge suitcase due to sand and uneven footpaths for about ten minutes walk. Really great property, book a deluxe room, take a torch for nighttime.

Perfectly nice”

To be clear, there is no cheap accommodation for a family on Railay beach. This hotel was completely overpriced for what it was but that is the reality on Railay.... because Railay is so spectacularly beautiful. Having said that, price aside, the property and it's facilities are perfectly nice. The buffet breakfast was great, the pool is nice and the setting of this property is beautiful. Our room was a standard 2 queen beds with a cot for our family of 5 ... the first time we had to stay in the same room on our trip but we were comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night.

This resort located in Railay where the only way of going there that I know of is by boat, from Aonang. The environment is great. For you to go the West beach will only take you about 5-10 minutes of walking. Do not worry about restaurants as they have plenty there. One thing that I love the most is that it is not as crowded as when I was at Aonang. So, if you go for a little privacy with great value of money, this is the one!

Fair value hotel”

Our stay was good. Friendly service at front desk for check in, smiling housekeepers, and okay breakfast (coffee was horrible, though, but there are many places to go for lattes and such). Walk to the beach at Railay west was only ten minutes on a footpath so very accessible to swimming and restaurants.
