Tasteful, clean, and friendly hostel”
The Django was a great place to stay in Kii-Tanabe. The manager was very friendly, and the level of care that has gone into setting up this hostel is obvious. The rooms are clean, really nice soft beds with quality linen, and the shared bathrooms are spotless. The only thing I would say is that you can’t check in until 4pm, so if you arrive early in Kii-Tanabe, as we did, then you will have to kill some time before the hostel even opens. We ended up dropping our bags across the road at the Kumano Travel centre, and walking around town for a few hours. You should probably factor this into your travel plans if you want to avoid waiting around.

The atmosphere at the lounge was great. The rooms were nice and cozy. The staff was super usefull and kind. The location is perfect if you are starting the kumano kodo.

Good for short stay”
Right by the station, very basic facilities. No kitchen but they did have toaster oven, microwave and hot water pot for tea/coffee. Nice big room with tables and chairs in it. No real lounge space except for when the bar is open. Parking is 1,000 yen extra and should be arranged in advance. A quick drive to Shirahama beach.

1FがBarで、夜中２時までカラオケで騒いでいて眠れ無かった。乾燥機を使いたくても、夜中回しっぱなしで放置してる客もいて困った。今まで利用したゲストハウスで最低だった。

因为临时取消了和歌山的行程，从熊野中边路回来已经晚上了，就定了这家朋友推荐的青旅，民宿的老板非常热情，因为是混合住宿的房间，细心的给我安排了最里面没有其他人的床铺，感谢啦，很好的入住体验
