We are pleasantly surprised by Dormy Inn Higashi Muroran in multiple aspects. The hotel is in the town center of east Muroran, with 5 minutes walking distance to JR Higashi Muroran station. Though the town is not filled with hustle and bustle like Sapporo, the hotel has provided all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Convenience store (Lawson) is just next door, and Mega Don Quiijote (Hypermarket) is just 5 minutes walk away. There are a few ramen stores opposite the hotel, but most of the stores within the town close at 7-8pm. The hotel has complimentary onsen (hot spring) on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Also, one of the highlight is the complimentary ramen provided from 9.30pm till 11pm. The room is small (likewise for other Japanese hotel) but cozy. Cleanliness is remarkable. Because of the onsen provided, bath tub is not found in toilet but only shower cubicle. Reception and valet staff are friendly and polite. Parking is reasonably priced at 700Yen per night.

Valuable and Comfortable”
We stayed in a small double room, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The facilities are very new. The onsen is very nice and it is far exceed what we expected! There are three pools (1 inside hot, 1 outside hot, and 1 cold pool) and one sauna on both the men’s and women’s side, the water temperature was perfect. It gave us a relaxing time during our stay. More than that, the hotel offered late night meal for guests (free ramen) in between 21:30 to 23:00 next to onsen which is very considerate since most people feel hungry after onsen. Our room rate also include buffet breakfast. Again, it was far beyond what we expected. There are so many options and food is delicious! I would highly recommend this hotel!!

It is so near the train station... Enjoyed the view of the quiet town while walking from Higashi Muroran station. Front desk personnels are very professional and very well verse in English. Despite we arrived early around 12noon, they allow us to check-in early after they confirmed that our rooms are prepared. That is very generous of them. So far we never had such flexibility in Japan. Love the quiet and peaceful surrounding... Beautiful view from the window of my room. The Onsen in Hotel is kinda small but it is clean and modern.

we stay in the hotel for one night. arriving late. there are many japanses restaurant around and convenient store just round the corner. the hotel provide free onsen experience with free ramen and drinks from 9.30pm. staff are helpful and responsive. rooms are big and comfortable. the buffet breakfast is great and not to be miss. In short, a truely satisfied stay. Thumb up!

Exquisite venue and service ”
Hard to fault. Great location, super friendly staff and very accommodating. They were able to let us check in earlier than 3 pm., however, we left to sightsee and returned late. The staff had put our bags in the room and our milk in the fridge. The room was spacious with a door dividing the shower from toilet, another door to separate the enterance from bed area, just wonderful. The onsen was delightful with sections for personal hygiene, 3 onsens, from cold to very steaming hot. A sauna also is available. A complimentary bowl of hot ramen after evening onsen. Muroran in Hokkaido may not be your destination, but the hotel made it worth it.

Excellant stay ”
Room was good, bathtub was spacious, everything was clean. Free ramen after a soak in the onsen was fabulous. pls bring some coins when you go to the onsen, so you can buy a glass of milk from the vending machine just outside once you come out - classic japanese style. We went to the 7-11 store 1 min away to buy almond pudding as well. so good.

Excellent quality room and staff's service”
Its just a straight way 4 mins' walk from JR Higashi Muroran station. There is a nice tendon opp hotel called Ajishin. Room is clean with nice interior design. Furniture is new. There's free ramen at 9pm. Nice indoor and outdoor onsen which worth every cent. This hotel deserve full stars 👍

Really enjoy our stay here”
The hotel is in walking distance from West exit of JR Higashi Muroran (Free passage between east and west exit) and has Lawson near the hotel. Staffs are very helpful. You can leave the luggages before check-in and after check-out. Wifi is Ok. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. The hotel offer free ramen at night 9.30pm-11.00pm with cold and hot green tea that are really good taste. Also there is free coffee in the morning and at evening at lobby. For the onsen, women onsen is quite large and enough for guests with have indoor and outdoor. There’s free laundry in the onsen too that’s excellent for hotel’s service. We will come back again for sure.

I have used Dormy Inn in other cities. They all have the same standard which is clean, neat and stylish. Free coffee, tea in lobby and free ramen in the evening. Very close to Muroran sightseeing. Staff are friendly and well communicated in English.

Very pleasing stay and recommended. Have a good onsen with high security for the ladies. But I really love is the free service of using washing machine. You only need to pay for the dryer which cost 100yen per 4.5kg. The hotel only need to walk around 8min from Higashi-Muroran JR train station.

Love the onsen, toiletries in the onsen is so completely and thoughtfully furnished. Parking 1000 yen per night. Free ramen is just a simple soy sauce ramen, good to take it as supper. But if you had late dinner, then may not find it interesting. Ramen serving time is from 9.30pm to 11.30pm.

Cleverly designed room!”
The room is so cleverly designed that my husband and I don't feel that the room is cramped at all! Its well located just next to Lawson, making it really convenient. Not to mention its wonderful in-house onsens and great sashimi restaurant just opposite! Will stay again!

Welcome drink in the lobby, washing machines (free) and dryers (200yen) at the onsen area, free ramen from 930-11pm! Onsen was nice and lovely with little rubber ducks. Also provided toiletries and other miscellaneous items such as face masks and skin care. Would come again!
