Excellent hotel in the heart of Kochi City”
Hotel is located near the Kochi Castle and Hirose Market, also located near the covered street market for walking around and visiting local shops and restaurants. If you have a vehicle, there is a parking structure a block away on the main road. The room was very clean and comfortable. The onsen was very relaxing. If your schedule allows, I would recommend you visit the Sunday morning market on the main road where locals set up vendor tents for selling their fresh fruits, vegetables, and products. I would recommend this hotel for those visiting Kochi City.

Two tram stops from JR. Walking is 13mins if you don’t mind. Room big enough to open up two suit cases and arrangements handy. Clean and right size Onsen; water is good. Free noodles and drink is perfect. Location is a credit too.

Dormy Inn Kochi Springs”
The Dormy Inn in Kochi is in a great, central location. It's just a couple of blocks from the Hirome Market and on Sunday's the largest public, farmer's market is Japan is one block from the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning that had local delicacies and the only downside was no on site parking thus the four stars for the facilities.

The hotel was located in the middle of the shopping street and if you drive, they have 5 car parks located on the next street (1-2 mins walk). The room is very clean and quiet. The hotel has its own onsen and sauna which is very good and clean.

Always reliable, comfortable and helpful”
I often used the Dormy Inn chain and have never been disappointed. This time too I found the location excellent - 15 minutes' walk from the station, 10 minutes to the castle, 3 - 5 minutes to a variety of eateries - and the staff were super helpful. Japanese business hotel rooms are never very large but Dormy's are a bit bigger than some and there is always a large public bathing area to relax in at leisure.

Dormy Inns are pretty consistent in their product. I’ve stayed in them and have always been comfortable. Staff at this location was professional but I did not get the same feeling of hospitality as some other Dormy’s. This location was a bit hard to find and parking was offsite around the block. It’s right next to a shopping area and it’s busy. But all in all you can’t go wrong with Dormy Inn.
