Only a block away from subway station and convenient store ”

It’s only a block away from Kitahama station exit which has elevator and escalators. You’ll greatly appreciate this when travel with kids, luggages, and strollers. There’s a convenient store nearby. The onzen is nice and clean. (My main reason for selecting Dormy) The breakfast is ok. There’s more variety at the one near Dotombori, but it’s still a decent one. There’s a nice upscale shopping mall nearby. It’s not a noisy location. More like office area(?). A couple station away from Umeda and Namba.

Exceptional”

We enjoyed our stay at Dormy Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to 2 Metro stations and getting to the airport was a breeze. The room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large assortment of dishes. We loved the hot springs facilities and used them every night.

Convenient location, great hotspring”

It’s just 4 minutes walk away from Kitahama station which makes commuting around very convenient. The hotspring facilities are good & clean. However, the room is a little small but I’d say it’s pretty standard in Japan. Breakfast is normal. I’d still say it is not a bad choice if you’d like to stay in a hotspring hotel in Osaka, otherwise you can opt for alternative options.

I would live here”

Well, I practically did live here for 2 weeks. My partner ended up hospitalised due to sudden appendicitis (always get travel insurance, kids). The staff were fantastic in assisting us with finding an English doctor, and understanding the need to extend our stay, and cancelling other bookings that were affected. The hotel itself is great value for money, I sincerely enjoyed the hot springs (which are on the top floor, in a beautifully designed area). There is a local metro station 5-10min away (depending on the line you take). And hey, a nearby hospital too... lol :) Minus 1 star for the sporadic room cleaning.

Hotel located in CBD ”

The hotel is located in what looked like one of the CBD areas in Osaka, therefore, it can get pretty quiet during the weekend, which suits me fine. I loved it that I get to see and live in the CBD area. The hotel is spacious and clean, and the room comes with separate living room with sofa, WC, shower room and bathroom sink. What I liked best was the onsen in the hotel, which is open throughout the night (1700 hrs to 0900, if I’m not mistaken). The onsen comes with indoor and outdoor and my fav of all is the solo tub onsen. The subway, Kitahama Station, is about 200m from the hotel.

An excellenet hotel”

Location wise may not so be central, but didn't matter to us as metro was only 5 mins away and a quiet location. Osaka castle is about 15 mins walking distance from hotel.

Great breakfast ramen. Highly recommended. Good hot springs. Love the wooden tub.

I always chosse Dormy inn in Japan. When I visited, there was Beverage buffet and it was very nice. You can take subway near from there.

Enjoyed our stay”

Room was small yet well designed and was spacious enough. Multiple services offered by the accomodation that were well utilised and liked by us. Location was good. Near the subway station, a supermarket and two conbinis. Its in the middle of what i believe is the city as the area was full of people in work wear in the day then really empty by night. Only abt 3 stops away from the major tourist places so.

Good location as it is very near the metro station and convenient store. KOHYO supermarket is also within 15 minutes of walking distance. Room and onsen are both very clean. Yummy breakfast and free supper too!

New but staff can be better”

The hotel is quite new and with nice decoration and equipment. However, there is one male counter staff who may bring people pressure when we asked for help. It's a bit sad that we were not feeling being respected when interacting with that staff. But overall, the onsen is nice and the room is quite spacious.
