Perfect location in downtown Phoenix. Hotel Needs Some work in order to be a four-star. Stuff in the front desk people are not as professionally should be.

This is the second time I've stayed at the hotel, both times sharing a room with my sister while visiting family in Phoenix. Great value. I like its location and personality. If you need upgrades to the latest decor, don't come here.

Typically really affordable (price goes up around special events). Kind of run-down, but that's why you pay less. The location is perfect--right next to downtown, but never felt unsafe. The location is convenient for the light rail. Free and easy parking around the hotel. Breakfasts change everyday. Swimming pool is a little small and water is not very clear. Overall it is a great hotel.

The rooms have nicer furniture than its sister hotel, but it's not as well maintained. The overnight/early staff person was rude. He directed me to the restroom, but It had not been marked as such - it was an exit door that led to an OUTSIDE rest room (?). When I seemed confused, he yelled "what did I tell you?" first time in phoenix, a large cit, traffic lights syarted 28 miles from the hotel but fortunately after six miles the was a loop entrance. close to the i-10. in front of the hotel a busstop to the zoo. there are two restaurants acros the hotel, to the south mc donalds and to the west another fast food restaurant with different sandwiches. free parking and good wifi. t...

It was a standard motel room with clean sheets and spacious bathroom. Location is central downtown, only downside is not so attractive breakfast.

The Marriott was walking distance to our venue. We attended a concert at Talking Stick Arena. No hassle trying to get out of the venue and wait in line to drive away.. Easy stroll to and from venue!

If this hotel is priced within 20% of the other 2 hotels in the immediate vicinity, it's a good deal. The rooms are bigger, TVs are bigger with a better satellite signal, fixtures are newer, beds have newer linens, etc. If you are in good shape and don't have your bags with you, take the stairs - it's faster.

I enjoy staying at The Sheraton Grand Downtown Phoenix with its great location and the staff is extremely friendly and the staff is always very happy and knowledgeable about what’s happening in Phoenix!

There were little cockroaches on the room, 2 were killed in one night stay, no “backup” toilet paper on the room, it had to be asked in the lobby. Other than that, it accomplished with the objective of one night stand in the city.
