I stayed there for a night during a long drive through Europe. Calm small city, the hotel is in the center, at the main square, basically offering all needed, including a free parking. Friendly staff.

Superb location, modern hotel, great hotel staff. Avoid the restaurant and select a nearby place.”

I loved the updates and the decor and the location was the best. It was quiet, modern and comfortable with some old b&amp;w pictures of Baja. The receptionist staff was most helpful and friendly and spoke several languages.
The restaurant was a great disappointment and I gave the details about the less than good service and poor quality food to the restaurant manager. That was not usual or expected from a Hungarian cuisine which is usually exceptional.

Excellent variant of accommodation on business trip”

Free and easy parking at the hotel, helpful staff, spacious hotel right in the city center. Free access to wellness and small outdoor pool, bathrobe and towels have been available free of charge.
Minor restrictions on breakfast because of the current health situation. The elevator did not work, but staff offered the spare room on the lowest floor. If you go along the river, not forget to take the repellent in the evening!

Classy room but noisy party and construction work going on”

Room had recently been refurbished, with a classy look, and clean. Good beds, choice of large and small pillows. Wifi reception was ok in our room. Mini fridge in the room.
Wedding party in the restaurant right underneath our room on the second night (saturday) with extremely loud music until 5 AM. Unbelievable. All we got was, sorry for the inconvenience. But this was topped by construction work in the room next to ours, with drilling and hammering, with only a woorden board as a divider. One day we were away for a few hours and the board had actually been replaced by a door... What if we&quot;d returned early? For this we did get a complimentary fruit basket and bottle of champagne, though, and the offer of another room for the last two nights. I&#39;d rather have had a refund for at least two nights.

I recommend with pleasure!”

Great location, in the old part of town, on the very edge of the oxbow lake, the Danube arm. Shopping promenade at your fingertips. The hotel itself is quite old, but in a good sense, the staircase still has the old style, but needs refreshing. Very good hotel restaurant, the menu may not be too wide, but it offers standard European dishes + local dishes, all on an equally high level. Good selection of Hungarian wines. A spacious room, quite nicely furnished and very cozy. In addition, electrically operated window blinds allow you to adjust the amount of light and sound from outside. A sensational large bathroom, with unusual sliding doors, a large shower with an adjustable stream of really hot water. Breakfast tasty and hearty, quite decent coffee, even though from a regular push-the-button machine. Maybe I was a bit short of fresh fruit and vegetables from Hungarian gardens. PS. I found a trace of my countrymen on a stone board embedded in one of the hotel walls, not for nothing Polish saying: &quot;Pole, Hungarian, two nephews&quot;.
