Fantastic Hotel in a great location”

Due to the current global environment, tourism in Krabi is very low. We got a great deal on the room at dusitD2. The room was small but very comfortable and well equipped. The staff were fantastic. The restaurant at the hotel was also excellent. Probably one of the nicer hotels in Ao Nang, and look forward to returning.

Excellent Location with Good Hotel Facilities”

DusitD2 is located along the main road of Aonang. The D'Light King room size is spacious and well maintained which is located at Building 2. Nice outdoor and indoor bistro lounge next to the lobby reception. There are many restaurants along the main road stretch, foods is not a issue except for morning breakfast where there is limited choice. There many tour companies for booking to go to Krabi airport, Krabi town, island hopping, kayaking, ATV and other land packages. We took Songtaew to Krabi town at THB60 each way. Krabi airport to Aonang by minivan or shuttle bus is THB150, suggest to take minivan as we took the shuttle bus and its journey takes longer time and as for return back to airport we took private taxi costing THB500. Aonang is generally suitable for those are like outdoor activities or also for those who like to do nothing and just simply relax. We would like to go back to Aonang and stay at DusitD2 again in future.

Motorcycle touring ...”

Stayed one night last weekend. Arrived and was quickly, kindly, and seamlessly checked-in. Hotel easy to find with Google Maps riding my bike. Management efficiently checked for any special needs I might have and I was kindly escorted with my bags carried for me to my room by a kind Concierge. Room big spacious and airy with a nice view of the pool and some view of the ocean (see photos). The quality of this fairly new DusitD2 was up to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and soft. Bathroom spacious and the shower with a seat was a nice touch. Nice toiletries and soft thick towels. Breakfast was tasty with a reasonable selection. Staff were efficient and kind. I was given my eggs exactly the way I asked for, and piping hot from the kitchen. The pool was nice, good size and very clean, with comfortable shaded lounges. Parking was easy and close to my room. There's a small gym, and a nice looking Spa. Cable TV too. I won't hesitate to stay again on my next Krabi visit.

Really nice new hotel ”

Great hotel! Completely new and has everything you need, spa, work out room, childrens play area and pools. I was a bit scarred that the pool area was too small and crowded, but it was so much more cozy in real life than on the pictures! We had a Room on 6th floor which had a view but a bit on the side, the ones in the front with a bigger balcony would be superb! The people are super Nice and always out to help you. If you want to stay on the main busy tourist strip of Ao Nang this is def. A good place to stay, the strip down to the beach/were the boats go from are noisy and busy but the windows in the rooms kept it all out, so your close to it all - but still «far away». The breakfast was Nice, I ordered a freshly made omelett with my choise of add ons every morning. They provide taxi to the AirPort, you can get this cheaper just down on the strip, but when we had an early flight it was nice to have them fix it for us. (Hotel: 800b/ Grab yourself:600b or 150 pr.person in joined car.)

The location was just nice, 5-8 mins walk to Ao Nang Beach. Along the walk you will find Mcdonald's, Starbucks, 7-11, Family Mart and restaurants/bars. The room was so spacious, comfotable and clean. Staffs are friendly and they can speak Mandarin / English / Bahasa Malaysia. Big thumbs for their big smile. Breakfast was awesome! In house SPA was incredible at reasonable price. 5/5.

Great Hotel with Great Location”

We are company trip. Some of us getting the seaview unit and some mountain view. Basically both is great as the room is comfy. The double bed basically is just combine two single bed together. The breakfast is good. Just one small incident is that when the last night we bought something and need to put to fridge, we found out that the food from previous traveller didnt clean up and its in the fridge. Frankly its bit disgusting when I see that, and link me to think of are they even cleaning the room or just make up the bed only? Other than that, location is great and near to most place we wanna visit. Ao Nang beach is within short walking distance. There is umbrella in the wardrobe if its raining day. There is a safe box in the wardrobe as well. Quite a lot channel given in TV

D’Light King and D’’Light Twin Room”

Great location along the main road about 400m leading to Ao Nang beach. It is opposite the Ava Sea Resort Ao Nang. Close to McDonalds and many shops and convenience stores. Hotel is still new and certain facilities like the spa and kids playroom are still not ready when we were there. The rooms are spacious and bed and pillows comfortable. Our rooms were located on the 3rd floor so we had to take the stairs. However, we can also take the lift to the pool area and go down one floor to reach our rooms. Overall it’s a great new hotel at a great location where all the activities are but still with privacy as you can’t hear the noise from the main road. Highly recommended.

Exceptional value for money, close to everything yet privacy secured, Great place to explore Krabi for an exceptional price and very nice hotel accommodations, We had the suite and it matched the web site picture and our expectations . If someone has mobility issues to climb the steps to the upper accommodations this is not a place to be as you must walk to the hotel building , It did not bother us , in contrary having this uphill hotel accommodations provides you with an exceptional sea view from the balcony and secluded pool experience.

Location , very clean ”

Check in was fast & efficient. We took the suite , fabulous , best air conditioning. Breakfast was good , great selection , but first few days the bacon & sausages were cold. Make sure the gas is on or ask for it to be turned up 😊. Tiger was on after that at breakfast what a delightful young man. Smile from ear to ear . Best staff member for us. Coffee machines in rooms are great . Pool area is good. Not much shade but you can get a bed under the trees . Pool staff not very attentive if you are wanting to order. DONT use the hotel tours. We were totally disgusted with the service , however Yupa the manager did everything to “ fix” the situation. She went over & above to rectify the problem. My suggestion. Walk outside. Many drivers at much cheaper prices and better service. We used Krabi local tours - on Facebook/ message Cindy you will be delighted with her services ! 👌. New hotel so perhaps still ironing out a few problems. Would stay again , the positives sure outway the negatives. Kanda the cleaning lady also deserves a mention. Thank you Kanda 🙏. Oh and the beds. .....OMG so comfortable & linen & towels best we have ever had. 10/10 for bed , linen & towels ⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we checked into the hotel to the day we checked out all things were perfect. We got invited by Sasha (GM) and team to the cocktail organised by the hotel and everyone was very warm and welcoming. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again if we were to back at Krabi.. 5555

Excellent”

This hotel is very new and we enjoyed our stay there. It is within walking distance to the beach and the main street where there is plentiful of shopping and eateries. It is also located quite centrally and provides convenient access to all of Krabi’s main attractions. Highly recommended.

Very confortable stay”

1st of all, anyone who book via agoda via mobile app has to be extremely careful. I was browsing which hotel to book and tried to view the last page in order to know how much is the all in amount before proceeding but tata... If u think there r another page would pop out indicating a summary before proceeding to payment... A page came out and said, 'Your Booking is Complete'. We'll, I am so lucky to press everything correctly inclusive of the date and so on. Or else, deal is done and dats it. It is non refundable. Strongly advice do not store your credit card info with agoda as it will deduct even when u still think u r still browsing. As for the hotel I was actually trying to browse... It is good.

Great place to stay! Will come back for sure”

Great place surrounded by many restaurants and not far from the beach. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms too. You can see that's a brand new hotel and the location is perfect as I said. The only downside is that there is no motorbike renting in the hotel and the taxi prices are just huge (3x times the normal price)

Yupa was AMAZING!”

From the moment we entered the resort we were greeted with friendly smiles from all of the staff and those smiles remained throughout our stay. All of the staff were so wonderful, but I would personally want to thank Yupa, for her exceptional attention to our needs. Such a warm, kind, and professional person who went above and beyond to make our holiday so exceptional and easily and kindly helped with some traveling challenges not related to the resort. You must stay here and tell them Torsten sent you! Again thank you Yupa and all the staff! We will be back!

Good location, you wanna relax you stay here ”

Pros: near to 7eleven and lots of food nearby Cons: try not to stay in Block6, its abit behind and you need to climb up every time you going back to the hotel. So far good experience, will definitely come back next time.

Very good and cozy place”

I traveled to this hotel with family after COVID19. The hotel just opened 2 days before. The staff still not a lot but they tried to service us. I got upgraded room to Family room with no extra charge. Very comfy bed and nice swimming pool for child. The breakfast is variety and yummy. I recommended this hotel.

Very new and nice hotel at Aonang”

The hotel is very new. The location at the mainroad of Aonang ist good, the main problem was I booked a Seaview room. This Room was located over the Restaurant and to the mainroad which was quite noisy. The rest was good

Good location”

Hotel is a good location,about five minute walk downhill to the beach. The pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds and a smaller pool for kids,there’s also a kids park play area. The rooms are big and spacious,however I paid for a room with a balcony but the balcony was small and didn’t have any chairs so it was a bit pointless. Breakfast offered a good selection with pastries,fruits and yogurts,hot and cold food and a chef making eggs the way you’d like. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
