Exceptional”
Mizuki (the sole staff at e-joy) was very accommodating. He picked us up at the bus terminal and offered to drop by at family mart for a quick grocery as the accommodation is somehow far from the market. He was kind enough to elevate our accommodation to include a private bathroom since there were just us for the night. The place is clean with free bikes.

Great living experience and great staff”
The hotel is located in a small forest with clean air. If you don't have a car, the hotel provides pick-up service from and to the station. The staffs are very nice and provide great service! The atmosphere there is very good and feel at home. Although the hotel is a little bit far from the lake, But if you love the serenity, it is a great choice!

Homey Hostel”
When we got to Kawaguchi station we freaked out because we read online that the front desk of the hostel was only open until 6pm, and we were afraid there was no way for us to check in! But thankfully, the hostel owner had WhatsApp and we were able to communicate with him! He was very accommodating and said he had left the key for us to get in on our own. Since the buses in Kawaguchi stop at 5pm and a taxi would have been about 3000 JPY, we actually ended up walking over two hours to the hostel (so I'd recommend getting there before 5pm, haha)! The hostel was in a quiet residential neighborhood, and felt very homey. But the thing I had been looking forward to the most, the whirlpool tub, turned out to be just a very ordinary, slightly smaller than average Japanese bathtub. It was nice to have heat in our room, though, and they had instant noodles and other snacks for sale, as well as free tea and coffee. In the morning, our host was very kind and drove us to the best spot to see Mt. Fuji from, and then dropped us off next to the lake.

Cosy hostel with great owners, perfect for exploring the Mt Fuji region ”
The hostel was very quiet when we arrived but the owners made us feel very welcome with a delicious meal. It's tucked out of the way and very quiet and cosy. The main town is a 20mins bus ride away. Over all we had a lovely stay here and would recommend.

Amazing hostel and host, recommend! ”
The hostel is little far from the main area but the hostel does offer free pick up service, which is quite good. When the host picked us up and he was really nice and drove us around to some good spots to see the mountain Fuji, he's really friendly and amazing! After we got to the hostel, we were told the hostel is under renovation so we are the only stay for the night, so we got the whole hostel for ourself, extra quiet, which is a good bonus! It's a very nice place to stay, I do recommend for people.

Très bon séjour ”
Nous avons passé un séjour de qualité à E-Joy. Cadre bucolique, non loin du Fuji. Vous pouvez prendre un vélo et vous balader autour du lac avec vue sur le volcan. Le seul vrai défaut serait que l’établissement se situe loin de la gare routière, il vous faudra prendre un bus qui ne passe qu’à toutes les heures.

位置离车站有点远，因为是旅游旺季，老板很忙，提供了公交信息，赶上最后一班公交车，沿着河口湖在暮色中看着小镇的灯火和不远处的富士山。很美丽。第二天很幸运，小哥哥顺路送我去车站和chureito pagoda, 一路音乐阳光，还在湖边停车下来让我拍照。很幸福了。☺️ 旅店很干净。房间暖气超足。小姐姐做的乌冬面也超好吃！遇到几个在日本留学的越南妹妹，活泼可爱，乐于助人，青春的气息～ 很开心了～ 下次去多住几天～满满享受小镇的时光～
