Chills with outdoor amenities at the heart of City”

My first local trip in this year since Covid 19. E outfitting applied health prevention measure well. If you would like to stay the hotel with outdoor swimming pools,gym and restaurant within city areas, E outfitting will be very few of them and you can chill with those facilities. Almost 24 hours tea house is also just beside this hotel. Chills and enjoy!!

Stuffs are friendly and offer very good service. Nice breakfast. Pool is very clean and swimming in the pool surrounded by trees and bar is something very unique, special and relaxing. The hotel and stuffs are flexible for customer convenience rather relying on systems.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

Very poor service, no hot water and no wifi”

We expected a good standard at this hotel, as it's a lot more money than others in Mandalay. We had no hot water or wifi for first 2 nights, we told staff, so they tried another room. Same problem. We tried another room, things seem to be fixed, but no door handle on bathroom door, and all our stuff then got locked in the bathroom. They wanted us to move rooms again. But as we already had 3 times, we requested they fix the handle, which they eventually did, it took all evening and one night was totally ruined. We did then have wifi, but no hot water for the rest of the stay. The toilet leaked and the breskfast made me ill. The hotel gave us no compensation even when we involved Agoda. Nice pool, is prob the only positive.

Very dirty rooms, very noisy”

The good things are that the hotel has nice pool area with pool bar and dinner zone. But the rooms are dirty, the walls and the carpet are covered with dirty spots and marks. The most terrifying thing is bathroom: shower covered with rust, dirty, smell of dumpness, always water on the floor in the bathroom (have no idea where it comes from), besides, the hot water was only on the first night and then disappeared. Sound protection is very poor, which is important, because there are many Chinese people in the hotel and they can be really noisy even at night, you hear every sound from neighbours, from corridor, work of sewer systems and so on. We booked 3 nights but have to change hotel after 2 nights completely without sleep.

Initially a bit disappointed by the room. A bit shabby and hot water wasn't really hot. The amazing breakfast, great staff and good location made up for this though. The swimming pool is okay but there was a strong smell of pigs from the neighbors.

The overall outer design of Hotel is good, but inside room is very Poor, old rooms , small rooms, the price is also very high, in comparison to facilities provided by them. Only Breakfast was good .

Golden Country hotel has a great location. The rooms are clean and excellent buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of Myanmar as well as Western food. The friendliness of the staff and superb service is of a 5- star quality. It has a beautiful clean pool and magnificent gardens as well an outside bar that serves any drinks and cocktails. The food at the restaurant and barbeque is of outstanding quality. Thank you again for the managers and staff that made my stay such a pleasure. I highly recommend your hotel to any person visiting Mandalay.

The only place I stay in Mandalay”

The rooms are big, comfortable, quiet and clean. If you get a corner room on a high floor, you’ll have a great view of the city and surrounding countryside. The service is outstanding! Everyone from the manager on down is friendly, professional and always checking to make sure guests have everything they need. The breakfast is great and the hotel has an excellent BBQ every night. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet, safe part of town with lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. On top of all that, they also have the best pool in Mandalay! I have stayed at more expensive hotels in Myanmar but never one better!

Good service best choice in Mandalay”

Great location, wonderful service, staffs are very kindly do there best for custimer's needs. We are family(10&8 two boys) Hotel just enough space. Outside pool is very good for play kids. This hotel is not modern but can say Burmese style. I really recommend this hotel. I will stay next.
