Eastin Grand Hotel - The Best Hotel of Our Trip”

My Mother, Son and I stayed at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn for four nights at the beginning of our Thailand trip and three nights at the end of our trip. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL. From the moment we checked in we were met with professional service and friendly service. Every person we ran into greeted us with a Swadee and smile to thank us for our stay and send us away with a positive feeling. DO NOT MISS BREAKFAST!!! Every morning my family and I made sure we attended breakfast. There was everything for every appetite. If you enjoy a cold breakfast there were a variety of cereals, yogurts, & fruits. Hot breakfast had everything from above average selection of eggs and pancakes to stir fried rice, Pho, hot dumplings & a made to order omelettes. There were a dozen different bread options like croissants, danishes, baguettes, Italian bread loaves, and breakfast rolls. Did I mention there was also salad & sushi? Yes, sushi for breakfast! Plus the home made juices (pineapple, carrot, ginger being my favorite) & lattes or cocoa made to order. My son was very much in buffet heaven every morning. The biggest perk is the Eastin Grand Hotel's location to the metro. It is at the metro stop. There is a catwalk that will take you directly to the metro stop and visa versa. We purchased a day pass (140 baht) everyday and away we went. There is guard exiting the hotel that will kindly open the door for you ~ make sure you Swadee him. He's just another touch of professional happiness. (Security at the metro is great too....be prepared to check your bags on the way into every metro station and major department store.) If you have any questions the concierge will be happy to answer and help with any tours or arrangements necessary. Please also make some time to relax at the pool. Just an amazing view, enjoyable cocktails, and oasis above the Bangkok skyline. The hotel actually raised the bar really high for my return to the United States. Wonderful hotel at a bargain price!”

After a month of staying in guesthouses and eating street food all across Thailand, we decided to splurge on our last few days in Bangkok before heading home. We found a fantastic flash deal on Agoda and enjoyed our one day/night so much that we extended our stay for another two days. From the start till the end of our stay, we received courteous and reliable attention. We were checked in quickly (a few hours early) with no issues, received complimentary drinks and snacks when they were only 10 minutes late with our room service order, and had all of our requests for extra amenities (HDMI cable etc) taken care of promptly. The restaurants (particularly the one providing the in-room dining service) made exceptional quality food, and the included breakfast buffet was spectacular. Access to the Surasak BTS station was direct from the 3rd floor, and the hotel is generally located in the city centre (Sathorn/Silom area). The concierge staff were helpful in guiding us to sights and attractions, as well as arranging for cabs. We were extremely impressed with the Eastin Grand Sathorn and are already looking forward to staying there again on future travels to Thailand!

Lovely hotel and service with excellent rates”

having come recommended by a person who worked for another hotel in bangkok, i decided to stay at the eastin grand for only 2 nights to evaluate the hotel. well the room was excellent, the view and handy location close by to the train into the cbd were all factors that encouraged me to stay another 2 nights! also the staff at the pool were very friendly and the floor manager told me about the executive rates which i'm definitely going to return in october for the grand opening. overall the eastin grand is a lovely hotel with exceptional customer service experience and room rates to boot. i will definitely tell my family and friends about the eastin grand hotel sathorn.

Superior Sky Room”

Choosing a hotel in Bangkok is not easy since there are hundreds of options. We visited Bangkok as first-time tourists and we stayed first in Arcadia Suites Phloen Chit for 1 night but we are not satisfied with the location, so we decided to transfer here in Eastin Hotel Sathorn for 2 nights. Location is convenient because it is just right there in Surasak BTS. This is just one station away to Saphan Taksin where the Central Pier in Chao Phraya River is located. From this pier, you can take the Express Boats going to the Grand Palace & Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Asiatique the Riverfront. This hotel is ideal if you are going to visit these spots. But if you are in Bangkok for shopping, I suggest you book hotels around Chitlom Station, near the Central World Shopping Mall and Siam Paragon. Room is spacious, clean, comfortable. The only one thing that is lacking is the toilet bidet. Our stay in Eastin is very relaxing and we appreciate the hotel comfort and ambiance a lot.

Very relaxing stay @Bangkok!”

Planned to stay for 3 nights, but did expand to 5 nights, because perfect relaxing stay. We had quiet room, perfect bed, nice bathroom/bathtube, yummy food in the Executive Lounge, perfect service from all employees @Eastin Grand Sathorn (entrance doormen, reception, Executive Lounge, room Service, check out and taxi service...) AND big extra THANK YOU to Shin, she did a perfect personell service and fullfilled all open wishes, had good Infos for (Korean 😉) food and made it possible that we could stay for 2 extra nights in the same hotel room (this room category was not available on online booking platforms/Hotel page)... and also quick repair/fix of aircondition & missing bathroom bidet shower - thank you Shin, great job! Really good was also the direct connection / walkway from Hotel to BTS station - easy & quick was to go by public transport to a lot of interesting spots in Bangkok and easy to go to shopping centers (MBK, SIAM CENTER,...) Excellent stay - recommendation! love to co

Superb hotel in great location!”

Stayed in the Eastin Grand Sathorn from Sunday 21st to Friday 26th Oct and had an amazing time. Booked a superior sky room on the executive floor and enjoyed complimentary drinks and cocktails each evening in addition to soft drinks throughout the day. The package also included free day passes for the BTS system and as the hotel is adjacent and directly linked to Sathorn station by way of a walkway, it couldn't have been easier to get around Bangkok. The staff were superb - very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the Manager Patrick Manthe who took time to chat with us one evening. We liked the hotel so much that we have booked 2 more nights there next week before flying home. I hIghly recommend this hotel and will use it again should I have the opportunity to visit BKK.

I have had a 5 days stay in Bangkok, and picked the Eastin Grand Hotel for it's attractive price being a good location hotel (next to BTS) that offer free breakfast and Wifi. I used airport city line, then BTS to get to the hotel, very easy and low cost. Checking in was very smooth, and the room was better than my expectation. Not very big in Bangkok standard but more than enough for me, and the double room should also fit two adults very well. The bath room was big, water temperature and pressure was perfect. Basically all rooms are city view, which I have no complaint. The free breakfast was outstanding in both food quality and choices. WiFi is working fine. The pool is at 14/F, small but very nice, not too many people, there is also a well equipped gym at the same floor. Going to shipping or key tourist spots are very easy using the BTS. Highly recommended.

Excellent Service at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn”

I booked 9 months in advance on agoda.com. There was no cost to make the reservation. My husband, our 14 year old daughter, and I stayed at Eastin for 3 nights in June, an Executive Deluxe room Plus Lounge Benefits for $224/night. Eastin offers the benefit “one child of 16 years or under sharing their parents' room will receive a complimentary extra bed and breakfast.” We took a taxi from DMK airport. Make sure you tell the driver to turn the meter on. It was a 30 minute ride, and the taxi fee was 250 THB + 50 THB for tolls. We arrived at the hotel at 5am. Check in isn't until 2pm, but we were able to pay a half day fee to check in early. Pom took our bags to our room. Our room was a corner room on the 29th floor, and it was a gorgeous hotel room! Pom showed us the features of the room. We loved Pom's energy and gave him a tip for his help. We loved the Executive Lounge privileges including breakfast served in the Lounge on the 32nd floor, complimentary tea, coffee, drinks and snacks available throughout the day, an open bar serving wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails and hors d'oeuvres 5:30-7:30pm. Every morning, we were greeted by Praek and Lak, who knew us by our names. Praek gave us a map and helped us plan for our stay in Bangkok. Lak gave us excellent service with our breakfast orders. On the 14th floor is the amazing hotel's infinity pool. There are cabana pods, and lounge seats around. There's also an exercise gym with great views of the city. On the 3rd floor is access to the BTS train, which is very convenient to get around town. Overall, we loved staying at the Eastin Grand and would definitetly come back. The only suggestion I have is when the hotel arranges taxis for its guests, for them to tell the taxi driver to turn on the meter. This somewhat protects the guest, especially if the guest doesn't know that the taxis need to turn on the meters.

Nice new hotel”

Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is brand new. Still a little smell from the construction.The room was a little smaller then usual in Thailand.The staff speek very good english.Some very good restaurants near by.Fantastic view over Bangkok from the room and from the swimmingpool in floor 14.Very easy to get taxi outside. The hotel is very new so please bring with you the taxi card you get at the hotel. You can walk direct into BST skytrain from the hotel and that is very good.

Awesome Stay at an Awesome Hotel”

Our stay at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn was nothing short of awesome. Hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. Special mentions to the housekeeping team and the guards at the side entrance from Surasak BTS station. They always have that great smile and manage to make us feel like we are reaching home after a day of shopping/sight-seeing in the city. Breakfast spread was extensive with comfortable seating. Attentive waiting staff. Its direct connecting bridge to Surasak BTS station is really a big plus point as it's a welcoming sight after walking the whole day. Front desk staff are also very helpful and not forgetting the concierge team - farang staff helped us get a taxi to Talad Rot Fai. Will definitely go back for a stay!

Relaxing, convenient, memorable”

We had such a wonderful two days at the Eastin Grand. We were visiting as part of our honeymoon and wanted something better than budget but not over the top. We went for the Eastin Grand as it was our first time in Bangkok and we wanted to be able to get around easily. The sky train entrance is from the 3rd floor of the hotel and is really easy to navigate. We arrived at 0300 and we were blown away from the moment we arrived. the entrance lobby was amazing! The service was fantastic, the staff could not do enough for us. we spent a day by the pool and the service again was fantastic. It was so relaxing - drinks and food available all day. The bedrooms were fantastic too. We thought the hotel was fantastic and so reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent as Always”

I've stayed at the Eastin Grand Sathorn twice now. I chose it because of its proximity to the Myanmar Embassy and the BTS, but besides that it represents one of the best values in high-end hotels in the entire city, with great staff, amazing amenities, an excellent gym, the best access to the BTS you could hope for, great breakfast, and even some wonderful street food options right out the front door. I couldn't recommend the place more and unless I have to stay in another part of the city for business reasons, this is the hotel I will always stay at when visiting Bangkok.

Enjoyable stay”

Spent our final night at the Eastin Sathorn before flying back to the UK. We chose the hotel because it was convenient for travel back to the airport and had good reviews. The hotel staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Our flight was not until the early hours. Having checked out at midday we were able to leave our luggage which gave us another full day in the city and we were able to return in the evening and use the pool and have a shower and get changed which was very welcome. For access to bars and restaurants it can sometimes feel overwhelming when your hotel is near busy roads (as are many in Bangkok) but Silom is really not that far away and was worth exploring. We found a lovely Vegan Restaurant called Bonita Café and Social Club for a final meal. Worth knowing is that the hotel have 2 Happy Hours in their pool bar and restaurant Blunos. We managed to catch the later one on our first night and this was good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel with excellent location ”

This was our family trip with a child around 7 and we stayed in Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn for several days. The swimming was great, the buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious, the rooms were large and clean, the staffs were so nice. We booked two rooms and the staff gave us two continuous rooms which had a door inside can let us freely enter between two rooms. The most remarkable thing is the location, it has its own exit connected to the skyline.

Friendly staffs with great smiles”

Front desk staff, Ms Beer was very efficient and detailed in explanation and other info upon check-in. Concierge, housekeeping services, waiters and waitresses were very efficient and gracious as well. All other staffs that we have came upon, including their security guards and fitness assistant were polite and generous in helping us. Didn't get to use their swimming pool (not that big) was crowded. Unfortunately, there is no in-house steam room, spa and massage services. There's nearby, about 200m away from Eastin Grand Sathorn, a reknown health spa facility - HealthLand. Hotel also have direct access to Surasak BTS on the 3rd floor. Overall, a relaxing, cool 2 nights stay here.

Nice stay & value for $”

Our stay with Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn was nice. The infinity pool is small but with very good view of the city~ The hotel is just right beside the Surasak BTS station, it some more has a link bridge with the BTS station which make it very convenient for their guest~ The breakfast was quite ok~The room was clean~staffs were friendly too~ I will recommend this to my friend~it's really value for $~

The Eastin grand hotel Sathorn is a great hotel which offers a great location, helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. The pool is amazing and it is so easy to use the sky train to get to places!! Would definately stay here on my next trip to Bangkok! Cannot speak more highly of this hotel!!!!

Nice hotel with easy transport access”

We stayed in the Eastin Grand for one night prior to flying out of Thailand. The hotel is located right by the trains with a flyover which leads directly into the hotel. There isn't much in the area but with transport so easily accessible, shopping areas, etc is easily reached. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room wasn't ready as we arrived too early but we were allowed to leave our bags, use the wifi and facilities until our room was ready. The room was large, with floor to ceiling windows and a great view over Bangkok. The pool is fantastic and highly recommended. Breakfast in the restaurant included the usual western and asian fare i.e. eggs, bacon, stirfry, dim sum and sushi. Again, staff in the restaurant was very helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and will definitely be back.

excellent hotel and a nice escape!”

i really enjoyed my stay at the eastin grand. the hotel was beautiful, service was friendly, and overall a nice break from the city hustle. the sathorn neighborhood is relatively up-and-coming as a heavy tourist area but it was nice to feel like there was some breathing room here. a few things i especially liked: 1. bts station - the direct pathway from the hotel to the surasak bts station was a much appreciated convenience since it rained heavily for a few days while i was visiting. 2. breakfast - the buffet style breakfast was great. they offered a combination of western style foods like made-to-order omelettes and cereals, as well a variety of asian foods like congee, sushi, and rice noodles. 3. pool - overlooking the city, the pool was a nice place to relax and grab a drink.
