Our staying at the easyHotel Budapest Oktogon was great. The room was clean and quiet big (we had the standard room with window). The staff was very friendly and helped us with all the information that we needed. The hotel is close to some important touristic objectives (e.g. you are at a 5-7 minutes walk far from the St. Stephan Church and 10-12 minutes from the Hero's Square). The only inconvinient at this hotel is that if you want the TV to be functional or to have wi-fi you have to pay. All in all our staying at this hotel was wonderful and I recommand it.

Exceptional”

location is perfect. less than 5 mins walk to Oktogon metro station and 20 mins walk to major attractions . lots of eateries around the hotel. room is clean and comfortable. staff are friendly and helpful.

Perfectly functional, good location and clean room”

We had a late flight arriving in Budapest and we were keen to not waste a lot of money on a hotel just to sleep a few hours. This was exactly what we were looking for. We got a large private room with en-suite bathroom (shampoo and soap included - happily surprised, I thought it was a no-frills place!). Great location, complete value for money for what you get.

Well worth its money”

Very good location, right in the old centre of Budapest and good access with the subway Octogon. Nearby are lots of pubs and restaurants, the opera and a supermarket. The staff was friendly and helpfull, spoke good English and had maps for tourists at the reception. The rooms are basic but clean, soft beds, good showers and soap available. You can have breakfast there but there is a cheap sandwichbar at 500 mtrs aswell. Good value for what we paid! Nice!

Close to metro, tram and bus stop. Stayed at the 4th floor so no issue with sound. Staff is friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for a reasonable priced accommodation in the central of Budapest.

Good Hotel with a Convenient Location ”

All in all, I liked this hotel because it was close to all the sightseeing spots, shopping centers, and the Western Station. The staff was really kind, they ordered us a taxi, and we could turn to them when we had problems. The room was small, and unfortunately did not have a refrigerator, but the staff helped us put our meals and mineral water into a common fridge. I recommend it for those who come to Budapest for only a few days and look for a hotel where they can go back to sleep after a tiresome day.

The place is nice but rooms should be bigger”

the hotel is good, but all little extras you need to pay. not the best if you want a cheap place to saty in budapest. internet is extra, and every little thing you ask is always extra. people are very nice and try to mke the best of your staying.

Budget no-frills hotel in very good location”

this is a budget hotel, so do not expect any extras such as free wifi, breakfast, even tv. but - excellent location, clean room, and good price! you can have a breakfast in numerouus cafes around, luggage can be stored at lockers at nyugati station (600 huf, in hotel - 10e)

It is 20 minutes walk to city center. 10 minutes walk to shopping mall. 24 hours reception. Afordable price less then 30eur per night for two persons. No cleaning during stay. I had to deal with garbage. Wifi was good. Room in good condition. Fan rent 1eur per day. Printing boarding passes 1eur. Tv remoter 5eur per day. So many extras but price of the room is low. I would book again

They reduced the price a little bit but made yoy pay very high for everything else. Very small room very small bathroom No drawers or closet No brush to clean the toilet No phone to call the reception Regular fast internet =pay €10 a day Room cleaning = pay Toilet paper = pay Towel = pay Watch TV = pay AC works in a very hot temperature that is not adjustable. Excellent overnight stay”

We stayed for one night is Easy hotel. Our room was tiny but comfortable with everything we needed for an overnight stay. The location of the hotel is excellent with good connections to public transportation.

Great location,clean and new”

this hotel is close to the main places,streets,and as well to a main metro staion.is is very new and clean,but you get what you pay for.the rooms are small,air condition,and a small shower.if you need any thing like the T.v. remote you will have to pay.they have internet,but a little bit expensive,but you have a few internet cafes just accross the street.i would go back again as that is just what i needed....

Fantastic”

Me and my partner spent 3 nights here it was great value for money. the location was 20mins walk away from the christmas markets and 15mins from the hop on and off. The staff were lovely and enthuastic. The only down fall was the duvet was meant for a single person so we each had one. There was also not much soap in the shower apart from that it was a great little hotel.

i would say the facility in hotel is standard one, which with standard bed and bathroom. it can be better if they can have a small table and a chair inside the room. location is very good, close to manyr estaurants and easy to go to most of the tourist point. Staffs are the most valuable things in this hotel. All staff are very freindly, nice and helpful. TO conclude, if u want a cosy and convenient place to stay, without demanding on delux service, its a very good choice.

great location, small rooms”

i thought the location was excellent, although the rooms are small. i was alone, so it was fine, but for two they are small. it's a shame there is no-where to sit inside the hotel and have a coffee, but that's really the only bad thing. the staff were fanatastic and very approachable. they really helped me, were very friendly and gave good advice.give them a bonus!!!!

stayed for a night, room is small, can only stay for one person. comfortable bed, flat pillow, clean bathroom. Good location, nearby many eateries, bathroom attached. as it's budget hotel, many things required extra money, such as early check in, luggage keeping services. overall good for budget traveller who don't want to stay in dorm.

Just a place to stay”

Nothing was provided in this hotel except a bed, and shampoo and shower gel. We asked for leaving the luggage, but the answer was we had to pay 6 Euros for one bag. Moreover, TV in our room couldn't be used because we had to pay 6 Euros for the remote control. So disappointed.
